TYMRHBDES Chapter 41

Fu Tingchuan stood behind him, his chest pressed against his back.

He took Jiang Luoluo’s hand and made a gesture with his arm.

The little dolphin leaped out of the water, its graceful body arcing through the air, carrying the fresh scent of seawater before diving back in.

Jiang Luoluo pointed at the surface, his expression tinged with disappointment. “It’s gone…”

No sooner had the words left his lips than a splash erupted. The dolphin leaped out again, this time carrying a small box on its head. Its pointed snout nudged Jiang Luoluo’s outstretched finger.

A strange sensation washed over him. Jiang Luoluo curled his finger inward, instinctively leaning back into Fu Tingchuan’s embrace, his voice soft and pleading. “Husband…”

Fu Tingchuan kissed Jiang Luoluo’s cheek from behind, then steadied his arm, encouraging him to reach for the box balanced on the dolphin’s head.

Jiang Luoluo bravely took the box. The dolphin wagged its tail at him, then leaned against the Yacht, gazing at the small box in his hand with a mischievous expression, as if curious too.

Jiang Luoluo opened the box, his dark, glossy pupils widening in surprise before sparkling with tiny stars. “Wow!”

A deep blue diamond ring lay nestled inside. The facets of the diamond shimmered even more brilliantly in the sunlight, each facet dazzling the eye.

The pure, deep blue resembled a treasure unearthed from the depths of the ocean tens of thousands of years ago—noble, mysterious, and priceless.

Jiang Luoluo’s heart skipped a beat, as if he suddenly realized something and turned around.

The chest that had been pressed against his back was gone. The handsome man now knelt on one knee, holding a large bouquet of roses.

His clear, gentle face was filled with tender affection as he looked up at Jiang Luoluo, as if gazing at the world’s most precious treasure.

Fu Tingchuan’s deep, melodious voice echoed in the sea breeze, his eyes soft:

“From the moment I first opened my eyes, I knew you were my wife. That thought marked the beginning of the greatest fortune in my life.”

“I don’t know why I appeared, nor whether I’ll vanish one day. But on countless nights watching you fall asleep, I’ve come to believe that I was born into this world solely to love you. That is the entire meaning of my existence.”

“My darling, in my finite lifetime, I will love you with every fiber of my being, every second of every day. I will protect you and remain eternally loyal to you…”

“I will stay by your side through sickness and health, through life and death, through countless lifetimes, forever steadfast in my love for you.”

“At this moment, I beg you to grant me the right to be your husband.”

Each word he spoke was firm and clear, each word like a tiny hammer, chipping away at Jiang Luoluo’s heart.

Tears welled in her eyes as she clutched the small box tightly. Her thick eyelashes trembled like butterfly wings, fanning a hazy mist over her vision.

Then, she extended the box toward him.

The man kneeling before her retrieved the ring and gently slid it onto her finger.

He slid the ring onto the slender ring finger of her left hand.

Her delicate, boneless fingers rested in his palm, the large sapphire ring gleaming against her pale skin, making her appear even more refined and precious.

Fu Tingchuan lowered his head, his thin lips brushing against her fingers.

It was a kiss filled with deep affection and tenderness.

A tingling sensation spread through her, like a spark of electricity coursing through her veins and reaching her heart.

Jiang Luoluo watched Fu Tingchuan rise to his feet. He felt strong arms wrap around his waist and shoulders. Fu Tingchuan lowered his head, his sharp nose brushing against Jiang Luoluo’s, and gently rubbed against his lips.

“Darling, will you marry me?”

The small figure in his arms nodded obediently, answering the question, “Marry you.”

The man holding him paused, as if a thirsty traveler in the desert had finally found water, or a castaway at sea had finally spotted a boat.

Fu Tingchuan’s large hand threaded through Jiang Luoluo’s hair. He lowered his head again and kissed him.

Every few kisses, he would pull back slightly to gaze at him.

His tenderness was boundless, his reluctance to let go palpable.

It was as if he wanted to etch Jiang Luoluo’s image into his heart forever.

Nearby, a dolphin excitedly slapped its tail against the water, while the gentle sea breeze carried droplets that fell with a soft plash. The scene was serene and beautiful.

Jiang Luoluo’s cheeks flushed crimson. When Fu Tingchuan finally rubbed his lips against his one last time, he buried his face in his chest.

Not long after returning home that afternoon, Jiang Luoluo was sitting on the sofa eating an ice cream cone when he heard the bathroom door close. Faint voices drifted out.

Jiang Luoluo pricked up his ears and listened. He knew Fu Tingchuan’s two personalities were arguing again.

He feared being caught in the crossfire. If the two Fu Tingchuans fought and it eventually dragged him, Jiang Luoluo, into the mess, he decided to slip away quietly.

As he passed the bathroom door, the fiery argument had already devolved into one personality sarcastically bragging about how soft his wife’s lips were and how slender her waist was.

Jiang Luoluo cursed under his breath and yanked the door open, fleeing in a flash.

Based on past experience, their sarcastic bragging would soon escalate into a back-and-forth exchange. Eventually, one personality would lose patience, leading to a “fight” between the personalities. One would suppress the other, successfully gaining control of the body.

With the strategy mission in its final stage, the System had been granted special permission to pause its upgrade and stay with Jiang Luoluo.

Watching Jiang Luoluo enter the kitchen after finishing his ice cream cone, the System couldn’t help but ask: “Luo Luo, you’re not thinking the mission is going too smoothly and deciding to cook him a terrible meal to lower his favorability, are you?”

Caught red-handed, Jiang Luoluo quickly protested, “Of course not! My cooking is excellent. I just had an off day last time~”

The System chuckled, “That’s a relief!”

Jiang Luoluo blanched the chopped ribs and neatly arranged them in a clay pot to simmer. White bubbles gurgled to the surface.

Hearing footsteps outside, he wondered which personality had emerged.

Suddenly, he was embraced from behind, Fu Tingchuan’s chin resting on his shoulder. “Did he propose to you behind my back?”

It was the First Personality.

After the chaotic events of that day, Jiang Luoluo had become adept at coaxing people.

In a sweet, coquettish voice, he surrendered, “Because I want to marry you~”

The man behind him seemed pleased, letting out a soft laugh. His earlobe was kissed. “So obedient?”

Fu Tingchuan’s breath brushed against his neck, making Jiang Luoluo’s hand tremble so violently he nearly dropped the knife on the cutting board.

The man took the knife from his hand and placed it on the cutting board. His body suddenly felt light as he was lifted into the air. Fu Tingchuan set him down on the counter on the other side, his arms braced on either side of him.

“If I had proposed today, would you have accepted faster? Darling, do you like him more, or do you like me more?”

Jiang Luoluo wisely wrapped his arms around Fu Tingchuan’s neck. “I like you more.”

Fu Tingchuan’s movements seemed to freeze for a moment, a dark light flashing in his eyes.

Jiang Luoluo inwardly panicked. *No way he just switched on me right now!*

He quickly corrected himself. “I like him more!”

As the words left his mouth, he saw a playful smile flash in the man’s eyes. He drawled, “Hmm?”

*I’ve been played!*

The domineering CEO Fu Tingchuan’s gaze grew increasingly dangerous. Jiang Luoluo pushed his arms away and tried to jump down.

Before his toes could even touch the ground, the man’s arm swept around him, lifting him back up.

His shorts were yanked down in one swift motion. The cold marble counter sent a shiver down Jiang Luoluo. He instinctively crossed his arms over his chest, stammering, “I-I-I’m still cooking!”

“Don’t rush…”

Fu Tingchuan lowered his gaze to Jiang Luoluo. “You’ve already filled up on vinegar. I’m not eating.”

As he spoke, a large hand settled on Jiang Luoluo’s waist.

Jiang Luoluo pouted, “We’re getting married soon. If I run a fever again today, how will I be able to attend the wedding?”

Fu Tingchuan raised an eyebrow, seemingly moved by this argument.

Jiang Luoluo tilted his small face upward and continued to whine, “Baby really, really, really wants to marry you~”

The man before him only smiled. “Really?”

Jiang Luuluo’s small head bobbed like a spring-loaded toy. “Really, really, absolutely true!”

The hand on his lower back loosened for a moment, and Jiang Luoluo’s eyes lit up. “Hubby’s so sweet~”

Fu Tingchuan’s smile deepened, taking on a knowing edge. “Hubby can be even sweeter…”

The kitchen door slammed shut, and muffled sobs occasionally leaked through the cracks.

Footsteps approached from outside—likely a passing servant. Seeing the tightly closed door and hearing the strange sounds, the servant grabbed a stick and shouted, “Who’s in there? Come out!”

In response, he heard a “crash” sound. I don’t know what was inside hitting the door, causing it to move.

The boss Fu’s angry voice came from inside: “Get out!”

The man outside the door put away the stick and ran away.

An hour later, Fu Tingchuan took off his shirt, held the person in his arms, opened the kitchen door, and went upstairs.

Jiang Luoluo, who had changed into home clothes, was held in Fu Tingchuan’s arms. She sat on the rocking chair on the balcony, looking at the sky at dusk.

The sea breeze gradually cooled down at night, but fortunately, Fu Tingchuan’s arms were always broad and warm, and were always his safe haven to shelter him from the wind and rain.

The breeze blew through Jiang Luoluo’s hair, and the soft hair brushed Fu Tingchuan’s face. Fu Tingchuan kissed the top of his head, hugged the person tightly in his arms, and enjoyed this rare moment of quietness.

Jiang Luoluo held a handful of cherries in her hand, put one into her own mouth, and then put another into Fu Tingchuan’s mouth.

Jiang Luoluo leaned in Fu Tingchuan’s arms, pointing her finger to the place where the water and sky merged into one, and said in a soft and coquettish voice: “Fu Tingchuan~ look~”

Fu Tingchuan looked in the direction of his finger –

where the sea and the sky met, the orange-red clouds dyed half the sky red, and dyed the deep blue water surface even more colorful. The calm water surface like a mirror reflected half of the setting sun.

The flying seagulls spread their wings and passed close to the water surface, or as if they were passing through the half-sunset in the sky.

The voice of the person in his arms was particularly joyful, with a satisfied sigh: “This world is so beautiful~”

The handsome man had a smile on his lips and bent his head to kiss the soft profile of the person in his arms.

It’s really wonderful to have him by my side.
