TYMRHBDES Chapter 49- The Gloomy, Obsessive Alpha Boss x Sweet, Submissive Little Omega

The Gloomy, Obsessive Alpha Boss x Sweet, Submissive Little Omega

T/N: Guys, I’m sorry to show up at the top of the page. This is my favourite world. This is totally my cup of tea. So this is the chapter where you get to know who your translator is… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

“Mr. Huo, please mark me…”

In the dimly lit,  private room is noisy with voices. The soft-voiced Omega knelt at the man’s feet, his small hands clutching his exquisitely tailored trousers. He pleaded in a low, trembling voice.

The Alpha, holding a cigar between his fingers, lazily lifted his eyelids, his dark eyes as deep and mysterious as the sea.

The sudden turn of events froze the room’s lively atmosphere. Countless eyes turned to the kneeling Omega.

From this angle, his face was obscured. The soft fabric outlined his slender waist, and his fair, delicate neck tilted back slightly, like a rare breed of kitten.

“Another one trying to climb into Master Huo’s bed.”

“Tsk, they’re desperate to get to the top!”

“Master Huo will definitely reject him. We’ll get to pick up the scraps later…”

Several Alphas holding wine glasses exchanged knowing glances, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.

“Mr. Huo, I’ll be very obedient…”

The Omega before him had reddened eyes, his watery almond eyes fixed on him. Wisps of light, golden curls framed his forehead, making him look like a beautiful doll.

Huo Zedong flicked his ash, the crimson glow of his cigarette flickering a few times before being extinguished in the ashtray by a large hand.

Fingers smelling of tobacco gripped his chin, and the imposing, sharp-featured man lowered his gaze, studying him. “What’s your name?”

The beauty whose chin was held captive answered obediently, “Sir, my name is Jiang Luoluo.”

Huo Zedong raised his eyes, suddenly seeming to recall something. A flicker of understanding crossed his gaze.

Indeed, the Jiang Family had been trying to curry favor with him lately, repeatedly sending people his way—men and women, one wave after another.

He had always been indifferent to matters of lust. The stimulation provided by a beautiful, young Omega paled in comparison to the thrill of wielding power in his career.

The hand that had been holding his chin released its grip. Huo Zedong leaned back against the sofa, drawing knowing sighs from the men behind him, tinged with malicious intent.

The Omega on the floor trembled nervously, his wet eyes fixed on Huo Zedong. He stammered softly, “Sir…”

He looked like a stray kitten begging for adoption.

A strange feeling stirred within Huo Zedong. He patted the seat beside him. “Come sit here.”

The Alphas in the private room exchanged glances.

Everyone knew that the top Alpha, who now held sway over the Imperial Capital, had never shown interest in Omegas. Why was he making an exception today?

The obedient and well-behaved Omega stood beside him, drawing astonished glances from the Alphas who were directly facing the assault of his beauty.

*So that’s why he’s so stunning…*

“The Jiang Family? Which Jiang Family?”

The Alphas, captivated by the sight, whispered among themselves.

“Which other Jiang Family could it be? There’s only one! But I’ve never heard of the Jiang Family having an Omega. Aren’t all their sons Alphas?”

“Rumor has it they have a hidden illegitimate son who’s never been seen before…”

Amidst the deafening music, Jiang Luoluo clasped his hands together, stealing a glance at the stern profile of the man beside him.

This man was Huo Zedong, his target in this world. [footnote]T/n: phew… at least he knows his target in this world [/footnote]

A top-tier Alpha with immense power, he was known for his cold detachment, ruthless cruelty, and complete disinterest in women.

The System had revealed no further information.

As for Jiang Luoluo’s own identity, he was an illegitimate Omega son of the Jiang Family, unworthy of public recognition.

In this world, Omegas were highly valued. Due to their scarcity, they usually received preferential treatment.

But Jiang Luoluo was different.

It wasn’t just because he was an illegitimate child.

More importantly, his glands were defective, making it impossible for an Alpha to permanently mark him and making it extremely difficult for him to conceive.

Omegas like him, with glandular defects, weren’t symbols of purity. They were usually given as gifts to powerful figures to grease the wheels of relationships.

After all, they wouldn’t be permanently marked. Once the alpha grew bored, they’d be returned, no need to even wash off the mark. Then they could be sent to the next recipient.

Jiang Luoluo sighed, his long eyelashes drooping as he unconsciously twisted his fingers, lost in thought about how to win over the villainous Huo Zedong and raise his favor.

To Huo Zedong, the scene before him was one of heartbreaking vulnerability.

The beautiful, delicate Omega sat beside him, head bowed, nervously fidgeting with his fingers, too timid to utter a word.

Up close, the faint, gentle scent of freesia wafted from him, an utterly non-aggressive fragrance, just like the person himself.

Huo Zedong’s hand holding his whiskey glass shifted slightly. The glass’s different facets reflected the light, his well-defined fingers resting on the rim, tapping rhythmically.

As if hinting at something.

Jiang Luoluo snapped back to reality, watching the Omegas in the private room swaying their waists as they poured drinks for the Alphas. He quietly reached out a small hand, wanting to imitate them and pour Huo Zedong a drink too.

A large hand closed around his outstretched fingers, and the tall, handsome man turned to look at him, his voice low and husky:

“You don’t need to do this.”

The palm of the large hand enveloping his fingers was burning hot, its long, powerful fingers resting on the back of his hand.

His heart pounded twice in his chest, a faint blush creeping up the small Omega’s pale cheeks. Jiang Luoluo curled his fingers, sitting obediently beside the man, and asked in a soft voice, “Mr. Huo, will you mark me?”

Huo Zedong turned to look at him, his half-raised eyebrow conveying a hint of confusion.

The small Omega’s profile was flushed, his curled eyelashes fluttering like a startled butterfly.

“Mr. Huo, please, please help me…”

The Jiang Family had sent him to Huo Zedong several times, but he hadn’t even managed to meet the man.

Enraged, the Jiang Family had turned their anger on him. Before being driven out to find Huo Zedong today, he had overheard Old Master Jiang’s furious voice from the living room:

“The Jiang Family doesn’t keep useless trash!”

“If Huo Zedong rejects him again today, we’ll just send him to the Li Family!”

A wrinkled, pockmarked face flashed through his mind—the Li Family’s Alpha, who had outlived several wives and was nearly old enough to be his grandfather…

Jiang Luoluo hunched his shoulders, his clear eyes peering through thick, long lashes at Huo Zedong, silently pleading for help.

Huo Zedong leaned back on the sofa, his arm resting behind Jiang Luoluo’s waist, like a mature male lion claiming a soft, fluffy kitten as his own.

He gazed at the innocent, delicate face before him, his voice as deep and still as an ancient well. “Do you know why the Jiang Family was so eager to marry you off to me?”

Jiang Luoluo shook his head.

Huo Zedong: “They wanted the mining rights to a diamond mine.”

The color drained from Jiang Luoluo’s face.

He knew the relative importance of a diamond mine and himself…

How could he possibly compare…?

His water-bright eyes drooped, and he bit his lip, his eyelashes fluttering nervously.

“I always thought they were just being greedy…”

The man’s deep voice drifted over, laced with a subtle hint of amusement.

“Now it seems I got the better deal.”

The small omega, who had been staring at the floor, suddenly looked up, his watery eyes wide with disbelief. His voice stammered as he spoke.

“W-what did you say?”

An arm wrapped around his waist, and the man’s sharply defined face loomed before him, the intoxicating scent of alcohol-infused pheromones washing over him. The omega’s rosy cheeks flushed with a drunken haze.

A man’s fingers brushed against Jiang Luoluo’s cheek as he heard Huo Zedong’s intoxicating voice whisper in his ear:

“From today on, you’re mine.”

As the man carried him out of the private room, Jiang Luoluo’s mind was still reeling. He couldn’t make out the surprised or envious glances behind them, nor the hushed whispers.

Huo Zedong’s long legs carried him at a brisk pace. Jiang Luoluo could only wrap both arms carefully around Huo Zedong’s neck to keep from falling.

They emerged into the club’s main hall, where the intoxicating music of the night throbbed. More people, unaware of their identities, turned to stare.

Huo Zedong was simply too dazzling, both in height and appearance. The person he carried was a soft, delicate bundle, nestled trustingly in his arms. The scene was enough to make anyone’s mouth dry.

In a place like this, what else could an Alpha carrying an Omega possibly be doing?

More envious and curious gazes landed on them. Jiang Luoluo blushed and shyly buried his face in the man’s neck, shielding himself from the outside world and presenting only the smooth curve of his nape to the onlookers.

“Still don’t want to come down?”

The man’s voice sounded in his ear. Jiang Luoluo hastily raised his head, meeting Huo Zedong’s gaze. “M-Mr. Huo…”

A deep emerald Rolls-Royce Ghost pulled up in front of the clubhouse. Huo Zedong raised an eyebrow, gesturing, “You can get in now.”

The driver, who had opened the car door for them, couldn’t contain his curiosity and kept sneaking glances at Huo Zedong. Only when Huo Zedong’s displeased gaze swept over him did he snap back to reality, closing the door with a start.

The car glided smoothly into motion. Jiang Luoluo sat in the back seat, his small hands resting on his knees. He glanced out the window at the passing cityscape and asked in a soft voice, “Mr. Huo, where are we going?”

Huo Zedong turned to him, but didn’t answer the question directly. “Are you scared?”

The young omega shook his head, his voice soft and fluffy. “Luo Luo isn’t scared.”

The System had told him that as long as he behaved obediently, the villainous boss wouldn’t harm him.

Besides, Huo Zedong had already agreed to mark him. He no longer had to worry about the Jiang Family forcing him to marry that wrinkled old man. He was grateful to Huo Zedong—how could he possibly be afraid of him?

It was just that he still didn’t understand the rules of this world.

Thinking about the gland at the back of his neck he’d seen in the mirror, and the System’s explanation that marking meant his alpha would gently bite it, Jiang Luoluo felt a little calmer.

It was just a bite.

It wasn’t a big deal.

Huo Zedong watched Jiang Luoluo, lost in thought, and an indescribable feeling stirred within him.

So obedient, so pure, so compliant.

The moment he appeared, it was as if the Creator had carefully molded him to Huo Zedong’s exact desires, bit by bit.

After living for so many years, he had never encountered anything he wanted to possess so desperately.

Even if it was a trap, he would leap into it.

Huo Zedong reached out and grasped the small hand resting awkwardly on the Omega’s knee. “Let’s go home.”

The little Omega turned to look at him, his soft voice tinged with excitement. “Mr. Huo, does this mean you’re going to mark me soon?”
