Chapter 53: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Villain Boss x Sweet and Obedient Little Omega 5
The faint fragrance of freesia suddenly intensified, carrying the unique sweetness of an Omega. It spread through the air with astonishing speed.
Several Alphas along the way cast covetous glances, but they quickly abandoned their thoughts when they caught a whiff of an oppressive, fiery liquor-like pheromone. They lowered their heads.
Once they were in the car, the Omega curled up in his arms began to sob softly, shifting uncomfortably against his chest. His fair jade complexion flushed with an unhealthy redness, and he whimpered pitifully, “It’s so hot…”
“Mr. Huo…”
He leaned against Huo Zedong’s chest, tears soaking through the man’s shirt. In a tiny voice, he pleaded, “Please… help me…”
His voice was as sweet as undiluted honey, and his small hand unconsciously clutched at Huo Zedong’s collar.
Huo Zedong swiftly removed his suit jacket and wrapped it around the Omega, his voice hoarse as he instructed the driver, “Take us to the nearest hotel.”
Watching the little Omega huddled in his jacket, tears streaming down his face, Huo Zedong felt a mix of heartache and fury.
Over something trivial, he’d run out and nearly been bullied.
If Huo Zedong hadn’t arrived in time, would his little Omega truly have been given away to someone else?
A thick possessiveness filled his eyes. Huo Zedong lowered his head in punishment and bit down on the gland at the back of the Omega’s neck.
The person curled in his arms flinched but didn’t pull away, obediently exposing a slender neck like an innocent swan offering its throat to a beast’s lips.
A sudden screech of brakes.
The Beta driver in the front seat wiped his brow. “Mr. Huo, we’ve arrived.”
Huo Zedong swallowed hard, tugging his coat tighter around the small face to conceal it further. He opened the car door and carried the person into the hotel.
The instant the presidential suite door closed, the room was instantly filled with the potent, fiery liquor-like pheromone of an Alpha.
The little Omega, placed on the bed, seemed to sense either safety or, finally, the danger closing in. He looked at the approaching man with confusion.
In the end, he succumbed to the overwhelming pheromone.
In a gesture of sacrifice, he shrank into Huo Zedong’s embrace…
Jiang Luoluo’s first intense heat lasted for seven or eight days.
He moved his fingers and leaned wearily against the other person’s chest.
The person holding him stroked his head. “Are you very tired? Do you want to sleep some more?”
The familiar voice brought him a sense of security. Jiang Luoluo nodded and drifted back into a deep sleep.
When he woke up, he didn’t know which night it was.
The crystal glass lamp cast a warm, gentle glow. Through the floor-to-ceiling window, he saw buildings of varying heights, adorned with billboards.
As dusk settled, the city lights flickered on, illuminating countless homes.
Huo Zedong was no longer in bed. The little omega felt a mix of grievance and disappointment.
Like a lost cub, he slowly pulled Huo Zedong’s pillow over and hugged it, inhaling the familiar pheromone scent. The emptiness in his heart eased slightly.
But after getting used to the scent, it wasn’t enough.
With wobbly legs, he got out of bed, found Huo Zedong’s clothes, and carried them back in his slender arms. He built a nest on the bed and slowly curled up inside.
“Mr. Huo…”
The soft, tearful voice echoed through the room, thick with longing.
Like an addict, he inhaled deeply the lingering scent of Huo Zedong’s clothes, barely managing to stifle his sobs.
*Did Mr. Huo abandon him?*
*He must have discovered his defective glands.*
The figure beneath the covers sniffled twice, tears dampening his eyelashes.
Huo Zedong pushed open the door and saw a small lump beneath the blanket.
“Awake?”
The lump on the bed stirred, slowly revealing a head. His eyes were red-rimmed, his nose tip red, and his tear-filled eyes stared at him.
Stepping closer, he could see more clearly the scattered clothes on the bed—his own.
His little Omega was nestled within the makeshift nest of clothes, timidly reaching out his arms.
Huo Zedong sat on the edge of the bed and pulled him into his embrace. “When did you wake up?”
The Omega in his arms clutched tightly at his shirt, as if afraid of losing his only support. He tilted his small face upward. “Mr. Huo…”
Huo Zedong stroked his cheek.
“Just now…”
Huo Zedong glanced at the bed. “Miss me?”
The little Omega nodded obediently, wrapping his arms around Huo Zedong’s neck in a dependent embrace. “Luo Luo missed you.”
Huo Zedong kissed his forehead, recalling the doctor’s words from their earlier phone call:
“After the fever phase, an Omega will become especially reliant on the Alpha who marked them, seeking protection and comfort…”
The Alpha who marked him.
Huo Zedong lowered his head, staring at the slightly swollen gland beneath the Omega’s pajamas.
Over the past few days, he had entered the Omega’s reproductive cavity countless times, yet could only leave a temporary mark.
“Patients with congenital gland defects may never be permanently marked, meaning they may never truly belong to you alone and will struggle to be a loyal wife. Once the temporary mark fades, he could be claimed by another Alpha…”
The man’s lips tightened, his eyes darkening as he tightened his grip on the person in his arms.
He didn’t care about any gland defects.
The person Huo Zedong wanted would belong to him and him alone, forever!
The soft fabric concealed the marks on his body. The young Omega changed into his new clothes and sat obediently in a chair, answering Huo Zedong’s questions.
“Why did you run away?”
Jiang Luoluo raised his head and instinctively touched his gland, the happiness on his face fading slightly. His eyelashes fluttered twice.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Huo…”
Huo Zedong sat opposite him. “Why are you apologizing?”
The young Omega glanced at him quickly, the light in his eyes dimming. His voice was barely a whisper:
“I’m not worthy of being with you…”
“Then I’ll give you some money. You can go wherever you want after that.” The man’s voice was cold as he signed a check.
Startled, the young Omega’s face turned pale. He stammered and retreated slightly. “I don’t want money… Luo Luo doesn’t want money…”
Huo Zedong tucked the check between his fingers, his eyebrows coolly arched. “Then what do you want?”
The young Omega opened his mouth as if finding it difficult to say.
Huo Zedong lowered his gaze, studying the young man before him. “You think you’re not worthy of me, yet you don’t want my money. Why don’t we just part ways now? You can go ahead and marry that old man.”
As Huo Zedong spoke, his sharp eyes locked onto the young man, his knuckles turning white from gripping the check.
Suppressed emotions simmered in his dark eyes, making him resemble a lion stalking its prey, poised to pounce at the first sign of weakness.
If the young man dared to agree…
If he dared to nod and say yes…
A hidden Omega, known only to Huo Zedong, would be concealed deep within the villa, never to be seen again.
Head bowed, Jiang Luoluo remained oblivious to the impending danger. He instinctively shook his head, his eyes reddening.
The System had lied. It had promised that once the Villain Boss marked him, he would begin to love him.
All Jiang Luoluo wanted was the money to send himself away.
Tears clung to his eyelashes as he slowly raised his head, his wet eyes meeting the handsome man’s gaze.
Reaching out, he tugged at the other man’s sleeve.
“I want you to like me…” Luo Luo’s soft voice trembled with tears.
It felt as if a tiny hammer had struck Huo Zedong’s heart, momentarily dispelling the gloom from his face.
His sleeve was caught, and a small hand tentatively grasped his finger, its cautiousness tugging at his heartstrings.
The Omega’s voice was soft and pleading. “Mr. Huo… I’ll be very good… I want to be with you…”
The check fluttered to the ground. Huo Zedong reached out, pulling the person before him into his arms, his long fingers threading through Luo Luo’s hair.
He lowered his head, kissing away the tears that streamed down Luo Luo’s face, his deep gaze fixed on the delicate beauty before him.
“Crying like this… you’re truly pitiful.”
Luo Luo’s butterfly-wing lashes fluttered rapidly twice before slowly closing as the man’s lips brushed against his eyelids.
His obedient demeanor sent shivers of pleasure through Huo Zedong’s heart. He wanted nothing more than to merge the person in his arms into his very bones and blood.
How could this boy be so perfectly suited to his tastes?
Huo Zedong’s eyes darkened as he cupped the back of Jiang Luoluo’s head and kissed him.
“Do you know how to keep your Alpha’s heart?” Huo Zedong asked.
Jiang Luoluo shook his head, his eyes wide with curiosity.
The man stroked his hair. “Just like these past few days.”
Jiang Luoluo tugged at his sleeve, whispering, “Will we do this every day from now on?”
He placed Huo Zedong’s hand on his stomach. “But it will hurt if we keep doing it.”
“If it hurts, tell me. Don’t suffer in silence.”
The little Omega blinked his watery eyes. “Understood, Mr. Huo.”
“And stop calling me Mr. Huo.”
“Then what should Luo Luo call you?”
Huo Zedong raised an eyebrow. “What do you think? I’ve marked you. What do you think you should call me?”
A faint blush crept across the little Omega’s face as he cooed, “Husband~”
Huo Zedong’s Adam’s apple bobbed rapidly. “Say it again.”
The little Omega’s eyelashes fluttered like butterflies, his face flushed with shyness as he softly whispered, “Husband~”
Huo Zedong looked at him deeply. His steady voice, barely concealing his excitement, rewarded the Omega in his arms with a kiss.
“Good boy.”
The praised Omega curved his eyes and shyly buried his head in Huo Zedong’s chest.
Huo Zedong pulled over a blanket to wrap him in, his strong arms supporting his legs and back as he carried him out of the hotel.
The night wind brushed through Jiang Luo Luo’s hair, making him squint happily.
Huo Zedong couldn’t resist leaning down to kiss his forehead.
“You’re not allowed to sneak off like that again.”
“Wherever my husband is, that’s where our baby belongs.”
An hour later.
The soft, fluffy Omega slumped over the computer, dejected. “Do I really have to understand all this?”
💸 “Wherever my husband is, that’s where our baby belongs.”
Wherever my coffee is, that’s where this tired translator belongs! 🥲
Buy me a Ko-fi so I don’t start marking random Alphas in my sleep 😩☕
