TYMRHBDES Chapter 55

Chapter 55: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Boss x Sweet and Obedient Little Omega 7

Pressed against the wall, the little Omega tilted his head to look up at the tall man before him. His watery eyes, like black grapes, glistened with unshed tears.

“So… how can I make my Husband happy?”

His voice was soft and sweet, causing Huo Zedong’s breath to hitch.

The oppressive, fiery scent of his Alpha pheromones filled

The swirling mist was trapped inside the bathroom as a pair of long legs emerged.

Huo Zedong carried a small Omega wrapped in a towel like a glutinous rice ball and placed him on the sofa.

The little rice ball’s eyes were still damp from the mist, his eyelashes clumped together, and when he looked up with red-rimmed eyes, he resembled a bullied rabbit.

Huo Zedong chuckled, grabbing another towel to dry his hair. “Why are you still crying?”

The little rice ball pouted. “Some Alphas are really annoying.”

The towel wiped away the water droplets from his hair, leaving it tousled. Huo Zedong smoothed it back and fashioned two small bunny ears.

He pinched the Omega’s soft cheeks. “Really? I don’t think this is so bad. Some Alphas can be even more annoying sometimes.”

Jiang Luoluo huffed and slammed his head against Huo Zedong’s chest with a “thump.”

He mumbled, “Just bully me. Bully me to death. Then you’ll never have a wife…”

Huo Zedong laughed softly, the sharp edges of his eyes and brows softening with mirth. His large hand stroked the back of Jiang Luoluo’s neck, again and again.

This was a gift from heaven.

Before meeting him, Huo Zedong had never known such happiness.

Huo Zedong bent down and scooped Jiang Luoluo into his arms, kissing his reddened eyes. “How can I let you stay upset? I only have one wife, and I have to take good care of her.”

“Come on, let’s go dry our baby’s hair.”

After getting ready and putting on his pajamas, Jiang Luoluo refused Huo Zedong’s offer to carry him downstairs for dinner, insisting on walking himself.

He slid down from Huo Zedong’s arms and had just slipped on his slippers when a large hand pressed down on his shoulder.

“After dinner, come right back upstairs with your husband. No lingering downstairs to play with him,” the man said, his eyes filled with possessiveness.

Jiang Luoluo tilted his head. “But he’s also an omega…”

Omega gatherings were just like sisterhood reunions; nothing would happen.

Huo Zedong raised an eyebrow at him.

Jiang Luoluo nodded obediently. “Alright, then.”

The omega, dressed in a loose, creamy-white set of pajamas, descended the intricately carved staircase. Lin Zhiyi, who had been waiting downstairs, looked up and greeted them.

“Mr. Huo, Luoluo.”

Huo Zedong merely nodded slightly, while Jiang Luoluo waved happily. “Xiao Yi!”

Huo Zedong glanced at Lin Zhiyi, who had risen from the sofa.

He had already caught their baby’s attention.

Truly annoying.

At the dining table, Jiang Luoluo happily slurped his seafood porridge, occasionally opening his mouth to receive a shrimp Huo Zedong fed him.

Lin Zhiyi, holding his spoon, glanced at the two people seated across from him.

That little omega was delicate and beautiful, a brainless fool.

He was genuinely warm and innocent. If it were his past life, Lin Zhiyi would have eagerly befriended him.

But after experiencing betrayal and abandonment by a scumbag in his previous life, leaving him with nothing, he refused to repeat the same mistakes.

He didn’t want to be with that scumbag and live a life of contempt.

He wanted to become the partner of the most outstanding alpha in the world, to make everyone envy him.

Moreover, in the eyes of this alpha’s parents, he was a well-known omega, and Huo Zedong’s parents adored him.

If he truly married Huo Zedong, he would become Madam Huo, standing at the pinnacle of the Imperial Capital’s elite society.

At that point, what would that scumbag even matter?

With Huo Zedong’s influence, Lin Zhiyi could crush him with a single finger.

Lost in thought, Lin Zhiyi met Jiang Luoluo’s cheerful gaze. He forced a smile, saying, “Our Luo Luo baby is so adorable, he’s almost as chubby as a hamster!”

The Omega across from them had puffed cheeks, yet his large, round almond eyes, with their slightly upturned corners, were breathtakingly beautiful.

Omegas from their kind of family were all well-versed in proper table manners. They ate daintily, with elegance. If a dish caused them to eat ungracefully, they would cover their mouths with napkins or simply refuse to eat it. They paid meticulous attention to every movement, ensuring that not a single crumb remained on their lips after a meal, let alone cheeks puffed out like that.

It was truly lacking in the elegance expected of an Omega from high society.

But Jiang Luoluo didn’t know this. Huo Zedong certainly did.

Lin Zhiyi glanced at Huo Zedong, feigning indifference, hoping to catch a flicker of disapproval on his face.

Huo Zedong did indeed shift his gaze from the shrimp in his hand to the little Omega beside him.

Unfortunately, instead of showing any displeasure, his eyes crinkled with amusement.

After placing the peeled shrimp on Jiang Luoluo’s white porcelain plate, Huo Zedong wiped his hands clean. His beautiful knuckles flexed in the air before he raised his glass to Jiang Luoluo’s lips.

His usually cold face softened as he spoke in an unusually gentle tone, as if coaxing a child: “Take a sip of water first, don’t choke.”

Lin Zhiyi’s smile stiffened.

Jiang Luoluo drank water from Huo Zedong’s hand, then obediently tilted her head. “Thank you, Husband~”

Huo Zedong placed the glass back in its place and lowered his voice. “No need to thank me. Consider it compensation from an annoying Alpha.”

Jiang Luoluo blinked, her face slowly turning red.

Afraid of drawing Huo Zedong’s attention, Lin Zhiyi didn’t dare say anything more. He lowered his head, eating his meal with a deep furrow between his brows.

The situation was more complicated than he’d anticipated. Huo Zedong seemed to dote on the little lover he’d brought home from the bar.

But it made sense. At first, everything was new and exciting, and love blinded people. Just like in his past life with that man.

But as time passed, conflicts would inevitably surface, and the gap between them would widen. The longer they were together, the more shallow their affection would become.

And what could a little omega with nothing but his looks—even his glands were defective, incapable of permanent marking or bearing children—possibly do to keep Huo Zedong’s heart?

The answer was obvious. If he could survive his past life, he could endure this one too. He’d just have to wait a little longer.

He was confident that it wouldn’t be long before this beautiful little waste of space fell out of favor.

The next day was Saturday. Huo Zedong, who was always buried in endless meetings and documents during the workweek, could finally spend time with his precious Omega.

When he pulled the Omega from under the covers, the young man rubbed his eyes and wrapped his slender arms around Huo Zedong’s neck.

His voice was soft and delicate: “Husband~”

Huo Zedong, just back from his morning workout, kissed his forehead. “Time to get up, sweetheart.”

A sleepy voice murmured from the crook of his neck, whining, “Baby doesn’t want to get up. Baby wants to sleep more~”

Huo Zedong sat down beside him, pulling him into his arms and gently patting his back.

The Omega clung to him like a koala, his drowsy eyes fluttering open several times before finally widening. “Husband~”

Huo Zedong was extremely patient. He hummed softly in response. “Husband isn’t busy today. I can stay with our baby.”

“A friend’s winery is opening soon. We can go there for a few days. Their hot springs are also famous. We can soak in them together, sweetheart.”

The Omega softly refused. “No…”

“Why not?”

“You always bully me…” The voice from the crook of his neck was tiny and delicate, sounding more like a pout than a serious complaint.

Even without seeing Jiang Luoluo’s expression, Huo Zedong could imagine his current state.

The omega’s fair, soft face was pressed against his shoulder, his curled eyelashes casting shadows on his lower eyelids like a fluffy kitten, his voice soft and sweet as he coquettishly clung to him.

This was the omega he had fallen for at first glance.

A warm, comforting feeling spread through Huo Zedong’s chest. He stroked the head of the person in his arms. “It’s good you don’t want to go. Then, husband will carry our baby to the bathtub for a soak.”

Ten minutes later, a fully dressed Jiang Luoluo stood before Huo Zedong, tilting his head obediently. “Husband~ Luoluo has made up his mind~ Let’s go to the winery after all~”

Huo Zedong raised an eyebrow, a playful smile on his lips. “Oh?”

The omega’s face was serious. “Luoluo wants to pick grapes.”

Huo Zedong was a man of boundless energy. Even after working all day, he would still torment Jiang Luoluo at night.

Now that he was about to start his vacation, they would be together day and night. Huo Zedong knew he wouldn’t be standing for the next few days.

Since they were going to bathe anyway, soaking in an outdoor hot spring might help him restrain himself.

Perhaps he could even regain the lively, energetic Jiang Luoluo he knew.

Jiang Luoluo blinked his eyes, gazing at Huo Zedong with anticipation.

Unfortunately, he was still young and naive, his every thought laid bare on his face. Huo Zedong could read his every little scheme with a single glance.

But he didn’t expose him. Instead, he took the omega’s small hand, a smile in his eyes. “Then let’s take our precious boy to pick grapes.”

Lin Zhiyi accompanied them on this trip to the winery.

Though the Lin Family didn’t mingle in the Imperial Capital’s social circles, they had extensive connections there and even ran some businesses. Over the years, Lin Zhiyi’s parents had brought him to numerous social events in the Imperial Capital. Since the circle was small and everyone knew each other, invitations were naturally sent to the Huo residence when they learned Lin Zhiyi was staying there.

As the car entered the winery, a magnificent building came into view, its castle-like towers topped with pointed spires.

A flock of snow-white cygnets swam gracefully across a cerulean lake. In the distance stretched an endless field of lavender, its purple hues fading into the horizon. A gentle breeze rippled across the field, creating waves of color that made it look like a scene from a fairy tale.

After getting out of the car, Jiang Luoluo’s hand remained firmly clasped in Huo Zedong’s. A waiter, who had been waiting for them, bowed respectfully and began to lead them inside.

“Jiang Luoluo!”

A voice called out from behind. Jiang Luoluo turned his curious head and found himself face-to-face with a familiar-looking omega…
