TYMRHBDES Chapter 72

Chapter 72: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Boss x Obedient and Sweet Little Omega 24

Seeing the other man’s expression grow increasingly dangerous, the Little Omega raised his leg to run.

The hand on his shoulder yanked him back, and he was swept up in a horizontal embrace and stuffed into the car.

At the edge of the shadows, Huo Zedong’s noble face was half-lit, half-obscured. He smiled gently at him. “Still want to run?”

“You were so disobedient just now. Looks like we need to teach our baby a lesson.”

The Little Omega’s mouth was muffled by sobs, but Huo Zedong didn’t do anything to him until they returned to the villa.

His baby had been unusually delicate lately, bursting into tears at the slightest thing and then clutching his stomach, claiming he felt unwell.

After finally managing to coax him back to normal, Huo Zedong knew that if he did anything to upset him again, he wouldn’t even get dinner down his throat tonight.

As it turned out, even though he hadn’t bullied him on the drive home, his baby still hadn’t eaten properly.

His favorite sweet and sour pork ribs were stuffed into his mouth, cheeks puffed out round and full. He chewed and chewed, but refused to swallow.

Huo Zedong had no choice but to pull him onto his lap and feed him bite by bite.

Vegetables were fine; he could swallow them once they were in his mouth.

But when it came to meat, he would start chewing unconsciously, just like before, and struggle to swallow even a single bite.

“Has the chef’s cooking gotten worse lately?” Huo Zedong asked, bringing over a bowl of seafood congee. He scooped up a spoonful with a white porcelain spoon and held it to Jiang Luoluo’s lips.

Jiang Luoluo shook his head. “No, it’s just too hot. I don’t even like eating out.”

He opened his mouth, and the spoon, laden with diced scallops and sea cucumber, went in. The moment the congee touched his tongue, Jiang Luoluo’s face crumpled.

He quickly scrambled off Huo Zedong’s lap and ran to the trash can, where he spat it out.

“What’s wrong? Is it that bad?” Huo Zedong scooped up a spoonful and tasted it himself. “It tastes the same as before, doesn’t it?”

Jiang Luoluo shook his head, clutching his water glass. “It’s a bit fishy, and Luo Luo can’t swallow it.”

“Tell the kitchen to replace this dish.” Huo Zedong pulled him close and wiped his mouth with a napkin. “The new chef we hired a few days ago arrives tomorrow. We’ll try his cooking then.”

The Little Omega’s face was pale and weak. He nodded obediently.

“Young Master, Sir and Madam Huo are here.”

Footsteps approached from behind, followed by two polite coughs.

Jiang Luoluo quickly slid off Huo Zedong’s lap and looked toward the dining room door.

Huo Zedong pulled him back, carefully wiping the water stains from the Little Omega’s lips with a napkin before turning to face his parents. “Dad, Mom.”

Madam Huo, her meticulously maintained face showing a slight crack, watched this scene unfold.

*Is this dating or raising a child?* she thought. *He’s spoiled him rotten…*

Her gaze fell on the Little Omega’s delicate face, and a flicker of envy stirred within her.

What Omega wouldn’t dream of being cherished like this by their Alpha? After all these years with her clueless, straight-laced husband, she’d never been treated with such tenderness.

Sir Huo, inexplicably glared at, was completely baffled. He walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down without a word. “Just finished eating?”

Madam Huo followed suit.

Huo Zedong greeted them, “Dad, Mom.”

Then he asked, “Why did you come?”

As he spoke, he looked up at his father.

“We just had baked snails with your father at a restaurant nearby, so we thought we’d drop by to see you.”

Madam Huo placed her Hermès handbag on the table, opened it, and pulled out a stack of bank cards, laying them on the surface.

“These are Luo Luo’s cards. I haven’t had a chance to give them to him yet. Put them away.”

Huo Zedong picked up a bank card with a cartoon sticker of a little yellow duck on it, shaking his head with a smile.

Seeing her son’s reaction, Madam Huo sighed silently.

No one knew her son better than she did. After all, he was part of her flesh. With just a single expression, she could tell exactly what he was thinking.

He truly loved this little Omega.

Madam Huo glanced at the little Omega, her beautiful eyes betraying a hint of surprise.

The little Omega, with his rosy lips and pearly white teeth, sat obediently beside Huo Zedong. His skin was flawless, and his features were exceptionally delicate.

He was arguably the most beautiful Omega she had ever seen.

Madam Huo spoke, “I won’t say anything more. Since you like him so much… then keep him by your side.”

After all, an alpha can mark multiple Omegas.

“Let’s talk about having children later,” Madam Huo said.

Jiang Luoluo didn’t pay attention to what she said. He patted his chest, feeling particularly uncomfortable in his stomach lately. Even a small bite of food churned his insides, and his throat burned with acid.

Huo Zedong, watching Jiang Luoluo’s movements, instructed the butler, “Bring some yogurt.”

Taking the yogurt, he pulled Jiang Luoluo into his arms, preparing to feed him.

Two coughs came from across the table.

Huo Zedong looked up to see his father’s face contorted with disapproval. Mr.Huo rose, hooking his arm around his wife’s, and said, “Let’s go, dear. We’re just getting in the way here.”

After seeing Mr.and Madam Huo off, Huo Zedong held Jiang Luoluo in his arms and fed him a few spoonfuls of yogurt.

The Little Omega frowned, pushing the yogurt away. “Baby doesn’t want to eat anymore.”

“Why can’t you keep anything down lately?” Huo Zedong stroked his cheek. “Did you feel like this in the summer before?”

The Little Omega snuggled closer, acting spoiled. “Baby just can’t eat anything, okay?”

Huo Zedong was at a loss. He didn’t want to take Jiang Luoluo straight to bed.

He took the Little Omega’s hand and led him outside. “Let’s take a walk. Maybe you’ll feel hungry after some exercise.”

Jiang Luoluo nodded obediently.

In the twilight garden, a soft, yellowish glow diffused through the darkness, blurring the details into a hazy, dreamlike beauty.

The Little Omega held his hand, swinging it back and forth with delight, his steps unsteady.

Every now and then, he would stop and call out, “Husband~”

Huo Zedong would hum in response, and the Little Omega’s eyes would curve into crescent moons as he continued his playful shuffle forward.

The evening garden was exceptionally quiet, the air filled with the subtle fragrance of large lilies, lingering in the air as if stretching time itself.

The Little Omega’s voice was bright with excitement. “My little butterfly is still in the greenhouse!”

The gardener, who had experience raising butterflies and bees, had helped Jiang Luoluo place the butterfly inside.

He led Huo Zedong at a brisk pace into the greenhouse. The beautiful butterfly was perched on its cage, hovering over a specially prepared honey-water mixture.

Its thin, broad wings were folded together, resting against its body, while its long antennae hung suspended in mid-air, as if taking a break.

Jiang Luoluo tiptoed closer, his small hands resting on the cage as he gazed at the butterfly. His round, almond-shaped eyes widened, his head tilted to the side, like a kitten watching a butterfly.

Huo Zedong stood at the door, watching him. His heart, steeped in the night, had grown unusually tender.

He had never imagined he would one day willingly stand silently, watching another person, carefully guarding his back.

Willing to stay with him from this moment until forever, always.

He saw his Little Omega raise a hand to rub his nose, then sneeze, “Achoo!”—startling the motionless butterfly into flight.

His Little Omega turned back, pointing in the butterfly’s direction, his bright eyes sparkling with a hint of embarrassed grievance. “Husband, it flew away…”

“Husband didn’t fly away. Husband is still right here.”

The man’s deep voice chuckled as he draped an arm over his shoulder, teasing.

Huo Zedong led Jiang Luoluo outside.

A slight breeze had picked up. Jiang Luoluo shivered, his small hands wrapping around Huo Zedong’s lean waist.

As if trying to ward off the cold, he burrowed deeper into the man’s clothes.

Summer clothes were thin to begin with. The thin layer of shirt transmitted Huo Zedong’s warmth, chasing away the chill from the Little Omega’s skin. Emboldened, he burrowed even more shamelessly into his alpha’s embrace.

Huo Zedong stilled, but didn’t stop him.

After a moment, the Little Omega looked up, his voice laced with resentment. “Huo Zedong, what is this thing? It’s digging into me!”

Huo Zedong’s face was obscured by the light behind him. He drawled, “Are you sure you’re not mistaken?”

Jiang Luoluo took the bait, his voice indignant. “How could I be mistaken? It’s right here—”

He pressed down.

Suddenly, he realized what it was.

The Little Omega’s face flushed crimson, and he quickly slipped off Huo Zedong.

A soft chuckle filled the air. The man before him bent down, his warm breath brushing against Jiang Luoluo’s ear, laced with amusement.

“Now do you know what it is?”

The Little Omega’s face burned red, and he fled in panic.

Back in the room, the sound of running water from the bathroom led Huo Zedong to assume the Little Omega was taking a shower.

He turned into the walk-in closet, took off his watch, and put it away. Then he heard muffled sounds from outside.

Suppressed gagging noises echoed from the tightly sealed bathroom. Huo Zedong’s expression changed, and he strode toward the door.

He pushed it open to find Jiang Luoluo kneeling on the floor, one hand patting his chest.

Hearing the commotion, Jiang Luoluo looked up. Tears, triggered by physical discomfort, filled his eyes, and his hair was slightly disheveled, making him look especially vulnerable.

“What happened? Did you throw up?”

Huo Zedong quickly helped him up. Jiang Luoluo shook his head. “I’m fine…”

He hadn’t been able to eat properly lately and had been feeling nauseous frequently.

Just now, while brushing his teeth, the electric toothbrush had barely entered his mouth when he felt a wave of nausea and nearly vomited.

But after retching for a long time, nothing came up. Only the discomfort remained—a burning, acidic heat that scorched his throat and stomach.

This time, Huo Zedong wouldn’t believe it was just because of the heat. He made a phone call, and half an hour later, a private doctor arrived at the villa with medical equipment.

Finally, he wouldn’t have to undergo the examination alone.

Huo Zedong held his hand, stroking his pale, sweaty cheek. “Don’t be afraid.”

The doctor approached with a long, flexible tube. Jiang Luoluo instinctively tightened his grip on Huo Zedong’s hand.

The metal probe, coated in gel, moved across his abdomen.

After completing the examination, the doctor asked a few questions.

“Everything’s fine. Your body is very healthy. However, the medication is still in the car. Would you mind having Young Master Jiang accompany my assistant to retrieve it?”

Jiang Luoluo obediently agreed.

As the little omega’s figure disappeared at the door, the doctor removed his mask, his expression serious. “Mr. Huo, your omega is pregnant.”
