Chapter 76: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Boss x Sweet and Obedient Omega 28
Seeing that Huo Zedong remained unmoved, the little Omega clasped his hands together and pleaded, “Husband, will you help Baby take off his clothes, please?”
Huo Zedong’s mind exploded. His rationality was on the verge of collapse.
He heard his own voice, no longer as steady as usual, respond, “Alright.”
The massive shadow looming over the little Omega shifted as the man half-squatted down.
With a sharp tear, the gossamer-thin silk stockings were ripped apart.
The little Omega seemed stunned by the sudden action, frozen in place, watching him wide-eyed. His watery almond eyes were round with confusion and shock.
Huo Zedong kissed his forehead.
“Baby, close your eyes.”
“Don’t look.”
The little Omega obediently closed his eyes.
The world turned upside down, plunging into a scorching darkness.
In early August, cicadas were already chirping tirelessly in the morning air.
Their loud, drawn-out calls echoed one after another, disturbing peaceful dreams.
A small lump stirred under the covers, and a hand slowly emerged.
As the blanket was pulled back, a sleepy young Omega was revealed.
The other half of the bed was empty, bare except for the rumpled covers.
Jiang Luoluo stared blankly, a mixture of confusion and bewilderment in his eyes. He pulled the blanket around himself, wrapping it tightly.
If he had harbored any doubts about Huo Zedong’s recent behavior, last night had sealed the matter beyond question.
Huo Zedong… he hadn’t gone all the way.
It seemed he had truly lost his appeal.
The man no longer pursued him with the same relentless passion he had shown when they first met, working tirelessly day and night.
The young Omega clutched the blanket tightly, his head bowed.
Upstairs in the second-floor gym, Huo Zedong’s forehead was drenched in sweat. His leg muscles were taut, burning off his excess energy on the treadmill.
Last night, he had come close to losing control several times, teetering on the brink of collapse.
Huo Zedong exhaled deeply. He didn’t know how he had managed to hold back.
After coaxing the Omega to sleep, he had made several trips to the bathroom.
This morning, the young Omega had been sleeping soundly in his arms, his breath sweet and innocent. God only knew how much restraint it had taken for him to leave the bedroom.
But after just two months, if this continued, Huo Zedong was certain he’d go insane in less than three months.
After showering and changing into fresh clothes at the gym, Huo Zedong went upstairs toward the bedroom.
The moment he pushed open the door, the person who had been sitting up collapsed back down, closing his eyes.
Huo Zedong lifted the covers and climbed into bed, gently cradling the person in his arms and kissing him repeatedly.
The little Omega’s eyelashes trembled anxiously, unable to understand what Huo Zedong meant.
He still seemed to like him as much as before, but he no longer wanted to touch him…
“Awake?”
A large hand pinched his cheek and lightly kissed the corner of his mouth.
Jiang Luoluo opened his eyes and asked softly, “Husband, do you not like it when Baby wears girls’ clothes?”
“I do.”
The image of the princess-cut girl in a black skirt and stockings under the dim light of the previous night flashed before Huo Zedong’s eyes, igniting a fire in his heart. “I like it very much.”
“Husband loves whatever our Baby wears.”
The little Omega blinked, a mist gathering in his pupils. “If you like it… If you like it… Then why won’t you touch me?”
A chord deep within Huo Zedong was struck. He suddenly understood what Jiang Luoluo had been worried about, and why he had acted the way he did last night.
For nearly a month, Huo Zedong hadn’t touched his little Omega. Was he afraid?
He tightened his arms, pulling the Omega’s back into his embrace. Huo Zedong dared not meet his tear-filled eyes.
Nothing mattered more than his Baby’s well-being.
He had to get rid of this child quietly.
He couldn’t let his Baby know he was pregnant. Otherwise, when the time came, it would only cause him more pain and heartbreak.
He wouldn’t be able to bear it.
Huo Zedong kissed his temple. “No, Baby.”
“Your Husband loves you very much.”
He pulled the Omega’s hand under the covers.
“You felt it too, didn’t you? Last night, it was the same.”
“But the doctor said you haven’t fully recovered yet and shouldn’t do this kind of thing.”
Huo Zedong kissed his eyes. “Your Husband loves you so much, Baby.”
“But I want you to be healthy and safe above all else.”
The Omega’s eyelids fluttered, his curled lashes fluttering a few times. He whispered softly, “I love you too, Husband.”
Huo Zedong’s heart skipped a beat, then suddenly raced. His dark pupils widened slightly. “What did you say?”
The Omega looked up and pecked his lips a few times like a bird, clumsily trying to please him.
“I love you, Huo Zedong.”
My heart pounded like a drum.
Huo Zedong’s eyes reddened. He cupped the little Omega’s face in his hands and gently kissed his forehead.
Cicadas chirped incessantly outside the window, their endless cries echoing through the summer air.
A summer breeze stirred the curtains, the soft white gauze billowing like a beautiful dream.
The tall alpha held the little Omega tightly in his arms, his arms wrapped around him so tightly it seemed he feared the other might vanish if he loosened his grip even slightly.
Two hearts beat wildly, then gradually synchronized their rhythm.
The obedient little Omega rested his face against Huo Zedong’s shoulder, his arms wrapped around his neck. In a soft, sweet voice, he called him “Husband~”
They exchanged meaningless chatter.
The alpha holding him listened intently, a doting smile gracing his handsome face as he occasionally chimed in.
His Baby was just too good.
He wished he could marry him as soon as possible.
Another half month passed, and Jiang Luoluo’s lower abdomen developed a hard lump, small and about the size of a ping pong ball.
Huo Zedong withdrew his hand and kissed the little omega nestled in his arms.
Now, two and a half months had passed, and the three-month mark predicted by the doctor was fast approaching.
This little thing was becoming increasingly noticeable.
If his Baby had been paying closer attention, he would have noticed the changes himself. But lately, he had been completely absorbed in sleeping and baking, completely oblivious.
Huo Zedong went to the Huo Family’s ancestral estate.
The secluded and tranquil standalone villa perched atop the mountain peak was surrounded by lush greenery. White clouds drifted above the villa, creating a beautiful scene.
However, Huo Zedong’s mood was far from peaceful. He knew this visit would inevitably lead to another heated argument.
“You’re actually considering marrying him? Did he force you?”
Madam Huo’s expression was one of disbelief. “Are you insane?”
“His background is questionable, his family history unclear, and his glands are damaged. He’s not even a healthy omega!”
“Even ordinary people know to choose a partner from a similar background when they marry. They know to undergo premarital medical exams to check for any issues and to avoid risks. What were you thinking?”
Father Huo’s tone was more moderate. “You’re more outstanding and intelligent than your father. You’ve reached heights I could never have dreamed of. You’re your parents’ pride, so we respect your wishes and won’t force you into a marriage for the family’s benefit.”
“But the gap between that child and you is simply too vast.”
“There’s nothing wrong with keeping him by your side and raising him. As long as you’re happy, your parents won’t interfere.”
“However, we’re not mentally prepared for marriage. Please reconsider.”
Huo Zedong sat in his chair, his expression cold. “If you’re not prepared, then prepare quickly. I won’t wait long to marry.” [footnote] T/N: I have to give a long and strong applause to Mr.Huo for that [/footnote]
He looked up at Madam Huo. “Mother, you can’t stop me.”
That evening, Huo Zedong video-called the young Omega he kept hidden away in the villa.
A delicate, beautiful face filled the screen. The Omega quickly switched to the rear camera, showing the baking room. Half-finished cupcakes and scattered tools lay on the table. With gloved fingers, he pointed at the items, explaining to Huo Zedong, “This will become strawberry Oreo cupcakes soon. And this is for chiffon cake. Husband, which one do you want?”
Huo Zedong considered carefully. “I’ll have the strawberry Oreo cupcakes.”
The camera swiveled to reveal five or six uniquely shaped glass cups, all washed and clean. Tender fingers pointed at the workbench. “There will be five different drinks later. Baby wants Old Butler to taste them and tell me which one is best, so I can make it for Husband.”
Huo Zedong first praised the young Omega lavishly, then explained gently, “Last time, Old Butler had a stomachache for days after trying Baby’s smoothie. The time before that, he couldn’t sleep all night after Baby’s sea salt lychee lemon tea, and hand-ground coffee. He’s old and can’t handle such excitement. Baby, maybe you could have someone else taste the drinks this time.”
Blushing shyly, the young Omega outside the camera obediently agreed.
After instructing the other person to eat properly, Huo Zedong attended a dinner party.
The real estate developer beside him wore a wide smile, desperately trying to liven up the atmosphere.
Huo Zedong, his slender fingers holding a wine glass, listened expressionlessly to the developer’s idle chatter.
The glass reflected the crystal chandelier’s light, turning in his fingertips.
After three rounds of drinks, the developer’s face flushed with alcohol, and he loosened up considerably.
While he still wouldn’t dare treat Huo Zedong like a brother, his attitude finally lost some of its earlier trepidation. He raised his voice and proudly patted his chest:
“Master Huo, Old Chen has prepared a surprise for you! You’re sure to love it!”
He clapped his hands, and the private room door swung open.
A slender figure emerged from the ancient wooden corridor with its miniature bridges and flowing streams.
“Hurry, hurry! Lift your head and let Master Huo see you!”
The door closed, and the figure raised his head. The circle of people at the table, who had been laughing and chatting moments before, fell silent as if their throats had been seized.
This Omega bore an identical face to the young Omega Huo Zedong kept by his side.
The developer nodded approvingly at his creation, and, flushed with alcohol, even winked at Huo Zedong:
“Master Huo, with the one at home, it’ll be like having a pair of twin flowers~”
💬 “Last night, Jiang Luoluo asked, ‘Husband, will you help Bao Bei take off his clothes?’
Huo Zedong: loses all sanity
Me: loses all dignity
Help me recover with a Ko-fi before I start calling strangers ‘Uncle Huo~’”
