RRMGEH Chapter 4

Gu Changheng stubbornly followed inside. As long as he didn’t see Zhao Yunfeng betray him with his own eyes, he wouldn’t believe it. From the age of 15 to 28, for so many years, he couldn’t believe that Zhao Yunfeng would do this to him.

Parking spaces were very tight. By the time Gu Changheng finally found a spot and made it to the hotel lobby, Zhao Yunfeng and the woman in his arms had already vanished.

He approached the receptionist and asked, “Which room did the two people who just checked in go to?”

The receptionist smiled and shook her head. “I’m sorry, but that involves the guests’ privacy. I can’t disclose that information.”

Gu Changheng’s temper, which was nearly worn down by Zhao Yunfeng over the years, came up in an instant because of anxiety. He slammed his hand on the counter, his eyes bloodshot. “Why can’t you tell me? I need to know.”

The receptionist looked at Gu Changheng like he was crazy, her expression turning cold. “I’m sorry, but that’s against our policy. Please leave. If you continue to cause trouble, I’ll have to call the security.”

“If you don’t want to get fired, tell me immediately which room they’re in, tell me!”

With bloodshot eyes, Gu Changheng had lost most of his reason. He looked like he was about to hit someone, which was really scary.

The receptionist quickly categorized him as a troublemaker and deftly pressed a button to call the security captain. “Captain Zhou, there’s someone causing a scene here. Please bring people quickly—”

Before she could finish, Gu Changheng yanked the phone cord out of the wall and smashed the phone on the ground.

The phone fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.

The receptionist was startled and took several steps back, fearing that Gu Changheng would suddenly lash out at her.

Zhou Li, the security captain, arrived quickly with a few security guards after hearing the news. They began to drag Gu Changheng outside.

Gu Changheng struggled desperately but couldn’t break free. As he was being pulled toward the exit by the security guards, he had completely lost his rationality. He shouted his status, which he rarely used to pressure others, “I’m Gu Changheng, the Young Master of the Gu family! You dare to lay hands on me? Do you believe I can make you all unable to live in Gu City?”

“Let go of me, let go!”

These security guards were the lowest bottom of the society. They didn’t recognize Gu Changheng. Generally speaking, second-generation people like Gu Changheng would call the owner of the five-star hotel directly instead of arguing with these guards!

Thus, Gu Changheng’s threats had no effect on them. Until Zhou Li looked at Gu Changheng for a few moments, he said, “Everyone let him go first.”

After hearing the security captain’s order, the security guards stopped dragging Gu Changheng.

Gu Changheng awkwardly straightened out his clothes and looked at Zhou Li, feeling that this person looked somewhat familiar but couldn’t recall who he was. He looked at him with suspicion.

“Why are you causing a scene?” Zhou Li asked him and frowned.

“I need to know the room number of the man and woman who just went in.”

This was against protocol.

Zhou Li scrutinized Gu Changheng for several seconds before walking over to the receptionist and asking, “What’s the room number?”

“This, isn’t this inappropriate?” the receptionist hesitated.

“I will take responsibility if anything happens.”

“Alright, Brother Zhou, if the boss gets upset, don’t say I told you!”

“Okay.”

The receptionist checked the computer and said, “Room 1224.”

From 15 to 23 years old, Gu Changheng chased after Zhao Yunfeng. It will be explained in the later chapters.

The three or four years mentioned in the last chapter (calculating the time, it should be five years) is how long the relationship.
