It was nearly five in the afternoon when Gu Changheng woke up from his nap.

In fact, most of the time, he didn’t want to do anything and just slept.

Even after waking up, he was reluctant to get out of bed, lying there and shutting himself off from the world.

If it weren’t for the urgent need to use the bathroom, he wouldn’t have left the bedroom. Standing at the door of the bedroom, he saw the man on the balcony hesitantly making a phone call.

Zhou Li hung up the phone. The tall man looked somewhat pitiful as he stood with his back to the setting sun.

During dinner in the evening, there were four dishes and a soup on the table.

This was the first time in a long time that Gu Changheng took the initiative to show concern for Zhou Li.

The two fell silent again.

He left the dining table and hurried into the bedroom. He rummaged through the bedside table for a group photo taken when they started their first year in junior high school. He handed it to Gu Changheng as if he was offering a treasure and said, “Look, we took a photo together.”

Gu Changheng took the photo but couldn’t remember when it was taken. After searching for a long time, he finally found his younger self in the faded picture.

Dressed in designer clothes, he had an arrogant expression, looking quite full of himself.

Perhaps Zhao Yunfeng left such a deep impression in his memory that Gu Changheng’s recollections of his junior high school days were mostly about chasing after Zhao Yunfeng.

He searched the photo for a long time before finally spotting a boy who somewhat resembled the man in front of him, but he couldn’t recall anything about Zhou Li from his memories.
