SOD | Chapter 86

Out of Control

Nie Chuan nearly lost his eyes when he saw what had fallen. He snatched it from Reese’s hands and shoved it back into his pocket.

“Hand… hand cream!” Nie Chuan shouted, but his face turned red. Damn it, Zhou Bin was going to be the death of him!

The thing Zhou Bin gave him that day, he had casually stuffed it into his coat pocket and completely forgot about it when he got home. Nie Chuan never imagined that this thing would stay in his pocket, tagging along with him all the way here.

“Hand cream?” Reese’s voice was soft, and he leaned close, his lips nearly brushing against Nie Chuan’s ear. “Why do I feel like it’s not hand cream?”

Reese’s hand slowly slid down Nie Chuan’s waist and into his pocket, covering Nie Chuan’s hand. “If it’s hand cream, why don’t you take it out and use it?”

“I… I want to go home…” Nie Chuan’s voice was much quieter than before.

But Reese kissed him on the nape of his neck instead, his warm breath lingering on Nie Chuan’s skin. His tongue touched Nie Chuan’s flesh, and his hand slipped under the coat, lifting Nie Chuan’s shirt, slowly moving in, covering Nie Chuan’s skin with his scorching palm as if trying to reach through to something even Nie Chuan himself didn’t know about.

After their frantic run, Nie Chuan’s body temperature was higher than usual. Reese kissed his cheek and whispered seductively, “Nie Chuan, I love you.”

At that moment, it felt as if something had seeped into Nie Chuan’s bloodstream, swirling endlessly.

Reese kissed Nie Chuan’s lips gently, tracing his tongue around Nie Chuan’s, sliding over his teeth, an alluring sensation that Nie Chuan tried to grasp, but Reese kept slipping away.

However, when the sound of a zipper being pulled echoed, Nie Chuan’s tangled thoughts were abruptly cut off, and he snapped out of the mood Reese had created.

“What are you doing!” Nie Chuan forcefully pushed Reese’s shoulders.

When he met Reese’s eyes, Nie Chuan’s heart felt like it was going to burst.

Reese’s eyes were dark, as if he wanted to crush everything that belonged to Nie Chuan and pull it into his world, leaving him no air, no space, a complete possession.

He said nothing, and Nie Chuan struggled violently.

“I’m not ready! I really am not ready!” Nie Chuan shouted in panic.

It was the truth from the depths of his heart!

No matter how much he liked Reese, and no matter how much he relied on him emotionally, the idea of being possessed by him felt like being shattered and remolded into another form—a deep, uncontrollable fear in his heart.

Reese grasped Nie Chuan’s wildly flailing arms and kissed his fingers. His breath seeped through the spaces between Nie Chuan’s fingers, and Nie Chuan clenched his hands tightly. He felt as if Reese hadn’t done anything yet, but he was already completely swallowed up by him.

“You’re mine, Nie Chuan. No matter how long I give you to prepare, you’ll never be ready.”

Reese’s voice was calm, but this calmness had a cruel edge, as if it stripped away all of Nie Chuan’s struggles, leaving him more vulnerable.

Nie Chuan just bowed his head slightly. When he saw that place on Reese, he knew that this time Reese would let his desires run free and would not compromise with Nie Chuan.

“Get off—” Nie Chuan raised his leg, pulling back his knee to hit Reese hard in the stomach.

But Reese tensed his muscles, and Nie Chuan’s blow didn’t have enough distance or force, Reese’s expression didn’t even change.

He released Nie Chuan’s hands and blatantly pressed down on Nie Chuan’s knees, forcing them apart.

“Let me go! Reese Redington—let go of me!”

Nie Chuan called Reese by his full name, struggling even more intensely.

He knew that one day he might accept Reese, but not now!

Now, recalling how Reese had chased him relentlessly, Nie Chuan could faintly sense something bursting out from Reese’s heart, something Nie Chuan was absolutely unable to handle!

Nie Chuan thought he might end up fighting Reese and was fully prepared to do so, but surprisingly, Reese let him go.

In that moment of hesitation, Nie Chuan suddenly rolled over, scrambling away from Reese’s embrace.

He rushed to the door, not even caring about his suitcase. He knew if he didn’t run fast, he wouldn’t even be left with remains!

Just as he was turning the doorknob, Reese suddenly turned around and grabbed Nie Chuan from behind.

His chin rested on Nie Chuan’s shoulder, his voice deep yet filled with a powerful struggle and conflict that pulled Nie Chuan in.

“I still can’t let you go.”

Nie Chuan had the illusion that Reese had bitten into him deeply, his teeth sinking into his flesh, about to break his throat and drink his blood dry.

Nie Chuan struggled desperately, pulling open the door, but Reese extended his leg and kicked the door shut.

“Bang—” Nie Chuan nearly lost his soul.

A powerful force dragged Nie Chuan back; he desperately clung to the doorknob, but the person behind him ruthlessly pulled him away.

“You’re crazy! Reese Redington! Let me go! I will break up with you! I swear I’ll break up with you!”

Suddenly airborne, Reese carried Nie Chuan back and swiftly walked into the bedroom, throwing him onto the bed. Nie Chuan bounced and fell back; he felt weightless.

Thankfully, the mattress was soft, otherwise, the force of that throw would have broken Nie Chuan’s bones.

“You’re freaking crazy!”

“Do you really understand me? Are you sure you understand how I feel?” Reese looked at Nie Chuan, his expression fierce, causing Nie Chuan to instinctively scoot back until his back hit the wall, no room left to retreat.

Reese straddled the bed with one leg, leaning toward Nie Chuan like a predator lurking in the dark, waiting, enduring, just for this moment of explosion.

Nie Chuan’s breath caught in his throat, his world on the brink, a sensation of everything turning upside down was so clear.

“Do you know how much I want to destroy your comfort every time you sleep not far from me, breathing calmly with your eyes closed? I’ve wanted you over and over, holding back time and again, and yet you sleep peacefully, unbothered!”

Nie Chuan opened his mouth but couldn’t speak a word.

“Every pass you make, every person you bypass, every score you get, your fans cheer, and I want to pull you down from the high places, to possess you fiercely in front of them! Because you are mine, not theirs!”

Is this really Reese?

Nie Chuan suddenly realized that the Reese before him was so unfamiliar. Was the Reese who always seemed calm and composed the same man now on the brink of madness?

“Do you know how I almost lost control the last time you came to New York after just hearing your voice over the phone? Under the tree, I held you, do you think I only wanted to hold you? When you lay in my apartment bed, sleeping unguarded, I hated you. You took it for granted that I wouldn’t do anything to you, but I wanted to do things far worse than you could imagine! I let you go once! But you came after me again! You keep crossing my lines, do you think I should always endure?”

Reese’s accusatory tone pressed on Nie Chuan’s nerves, seemingly about to snap his thoughts apart.

Nie Chuan stared wide-eyed at Reese, his helplessness, conflict, and restraint all visible in his eyes.

“I want to break you, destroy you, I even hate and fear you! Why is there someone like you in this world, affecting my emotions, making me helplessly revolve around you! And you? Your world justly has so much! Do you really understand me? Do you know what I want?”

Reese gripped Nie Chuan’s hands, laying them on his own chest, where a long-simmering, powerful beating awaited its chance to break free from all restraints.

He leaned down, and Nie Chuan thought Reese would kiss him forcefully, but instead, Reese simply said, “Don’t tell me how much you like me. Because you can’t imagine how much I love you. I’ve never been obsessed with anyone or anything; I was fine before. Why did you have to appear?”

Reese’s eyes slowly drooped, no tenderness, no entanglement, Nie Chuan knew, that was the sign of him letting go of his self-control.

“But… I never thought I would like you so much… If my existence is so annoying to you, then why did you show up that day at the community basketball court? You appeared in such a dazzling way… I can’t find another person, I can’t find another scene to replace it…”

As Nie Chuan’s words fell, Reese’s lips pressed down.

Absolute power, the will to break through everything, Reese did not hesitate to act on his desire, regardless of how much Nie Chuan cried and pleaded.

The room was filled with a desire to possess, nerves were shattered, the world collapsed and was remade, only to be destroyed again and again.

Reese was about to kill Nie Chuan, or perhaps destroy himself.

As his vision blurred, Nie Chuan saw only Reese, pressing down on him, tightening his grip.

In that moment, Reese’s world had no basketball, no glory, no cheers, only Nie Chuan.

Until Nie Chuan had no strength left, unable to even beg Reese to stop, everything finally plunged into darkness.

His mind repeatedly replayed the first time he saw Reese make a dunk. The lines of his body tensed, drawing Nie Chuan’s gaze.

Reese was the sun; his heat deprived Nie Chuan of all moisture, leaving him parched.

Nie Chuan realized that even if his ultimate fate was death, he couldn’t stop looking towards Reese.

Just when he thought he was really going to die, something soft touched his lips, warm water slowly flowed into his mouth, and Nie Chuan sucked it in without hesitation.

Someone stroked his forehead, holding him tightly in their arms.

“Stop… stop…” Nie Chuan said in a hoarse voice.

“If you keep moving, I won’t be able to hold back,” the other person whispered into his ear, soothingly.

Nie Chuan’s brows furrowed; he became restless.

His forehead was kissed affectionately.

“Sleep.”

Carefully protected, Nie Chuan took a deep breath, allowing himself to sink.

Time passed unknowingly, and Nie Chuan’s eyelashes fluttered, his eyes opening.

The sunlight streaming through the gaps in the curtains made it hard for him to open his eyes. He wanted to raise his arm to shield his eyes, but the slight movement caused all the aches in his body to converge and rush to his brain, making him cry out.

His throat was hoarse, his vocal cords felt as if they were about to snap.

The air was filled with a distinctly male scent.

He suddenly remembered something, sat up abruptly, but his head didn’t make it off the pillow before losing strength.

It hurt…

His body felt as if not a single inch was intact.

Nie Chuan turned his head, the bed was a mess. Half the bedsheet had fallen to the floor, his khaki pants crumpled and thrown on the ground, the lamp on the nightstand shattered, books fallen, and no one had picked them up.

That brought back memories of Reese’s frenzy.

Unrestrained indulgence, forcible plundering that brooked no refusal.

Nie Chuan gasped for air, looking around the room, and was relieved to find Reese was not here.

But after the relief, Nie Chuan felt more wronged.

The instigator was not even present!

Nie Chuan was so thirsty, his ears buzzing.

He needed water, or he felt he might die.

The heating was on in the room, and Nie Chuan struggled to push the covers off. That instant nearly made him faint.

His body was bruised all over, especially between his legs, it was horrendous.

He even wondered what Reese might have done after he lost consciousness.

Nie Chuan moved painfully to the edge of the bed, and the pain made him break out in a cold sweat.

Barely managing to stand up, Nie Chuan swallowed his saliva, moved his right leg a small step, and his body, feeling like it wasn’t his own, embarrassingly fell down.

The pieces of the lamp were less than a centimeter from his face.

“Damn it…” Nie Chuan clenched his fist and pounded it on the ground.

Just then, the sound of the door unlocking rang out, and familiar footsteps made Nie Chuan tense, his back muscles tightening.

“What are you doing!” Reese’s voice came.

He tossed a plastic bag aside and rushed to Nie Chuan’s side, scooping him up and placing him back on the bed.

“I… want some water.”

“I’ll get it for you.” Reese’s fingers brushed Nie Chuan’s forehead, and Nie Chuan recoiled.
