“I just wanted to drink water…”
Reese quickly walked over and helped Nie Chuan sit up. His lower body had no strength, and he was completely relying on Reese.
“Where did you go?” Nie Chuan muttered.
He thought Reese would just finish eating and disappear!
Reese pulled the blanket up, covering Nie Chuan’s body. “I wasn’t sure if I hurt you inside, so I wanted to get some anti-inflammatory medicine. You were sleeping so deeply, I thought you wouldn’t wake up, so I went to buy the medicine.”
Talking about it made Nie Chuan angry. “You knew it might hurt me, why didn’t you stop when I told you to?!”
Reese half-sat on the bed, pulling Nie Chuan into his embrace. “You held me so tightly, how could I get out?”
Nie Chuan’s face nearly exploded. Reese’s next words almost pushed him to the edge of collapse.
“Although you struggled at first because you were scared, didn’t you feel it later?” Reese leaned in close to Nie Chuan, gently kissing his cheek. “Actually, it wasn’t so scary, was it? Maybe it hurt, but it also felt good, didn’t it?”
Nie Chuan really wanted to cover his face. He still remembered how desperately he had wanted Reese to go deeper, how hard he had clung to Reese’s shoulders.
Of course, the fear was necessary. He was definitely bleeding there. Reese had started off gentle, but once he got an unconscious response from Nie Chuan, he completely lost control.
Reese gently moved Nie Chuan’s hand away, kissed his forehead, and softly pressed his nose against Nie Chuan’s. “Sorry, I forced you. But if I could go back in time, I’d still choose to do it.”
Nie Chuan’s heart trembled, and the world seemed to soften around him.
He knew how hard it was for Reese to say “sorry.” And this apology carried so many unspoken meanings.
“Your friend Zhou Bin once said, we’re still too young, and the future holds endless possibilities. You’ll meet more people and see a wider world. Then you’ll have more choices. And I won’t be a necessity for you anymore.”
Reese’s voice was calm, as if he were talking about something completely unrelated to the two of them.
His profile was like the surface of the sea hidden in the darkness, undulating in a place where the vision could not discern.
“But for me, I’ve never had another choice.”
He gently leaned in on Nie Chuan’s face, his warmth flowing through the skin.
Although Reese held the dominant position between them, Nie Chuan suddenly realized that the one who truly steered the direction of their relationship was himself.
“I want water.” Nie Chuan spoke.
“Okay.” Reese got up and handed Nie Chuan a glass of water.
He bent down, cleaning up the books and the broken lamp on the floor before heading to the bathroom to run water.
“Take a bath, I’ll apply the medicine for you.”
“Oh.”
Nie Chuan got off the bed, but his legs still had no strength, and his waist felt like it was going to break.
When he almost fell, Reese caught him.
Nie Chuan looked at Reese, but Reese only glanced at Nie Chuan’s lower body before turning his head away.
This was completely different from usual. If it were in their dorm room, Reese would either be staring at Nie Chuan or teasing him.
“Embarrassing, right…” Nie Chuan said helplessly.
Even Coach Gordon’s crazy training plan hadn’t made him feel like this.
“I’m afraid if I keep looking at you, I won’t be able to stop myself.”
Reese’s voice was cold, restrained, and husky.
Nie Chuan’s eyes widened. “Stop! You did it four times yesterday! Can you even get up?”
“It was five times,” Reese said.
“What— I remember it being four!”
“After you fell asleep, I helped you clean up what was left inside… after I put my fingers in, I couldn’t stop.”
“You don’t have to tell me that!” Nie Chuan was on the verge of going mad. “No wonder it hurts so much!”
It had been overused completely!
It seemed like Reese had no sense of moderation in some areas!
Reese didn’t continue discussing the matter, just supporting Nie Chuan as he walked into the bathroom. Nie Chuan walked slowly, but he didn’t want Reese to carry him. Being carried would make him feel like a weakling. The Nie Chuan who used to discard his pride in front of Reese now suddenly cared about his dignity.
Reese was patient, staying with Nie Chuan every step of the way.
Nie Chuan suddenly thought, if he could be supported by Reese like this until they grew old, even if all his dreams fell apart, he would still be Reese’s most important person. It felt like he had reached the other shore he had always dreamed of.
Entering the bathroom and seeing the bathtub, Nie Chuan immediately remembered the last time he and Reese had sat in it together. Nie Chuan was 100% sure that Reese had already replayed countless scenarios in his mind, imagining this and that.
Nie Chuan tried several times, but his legs still couldn’t lift. Finally, Reese bent down and lifted him up. In that moment, Nie Chuan felt a chill of fear; after all, he wasn’t light. But Reese’s body was so steady. Nie Chuan was gently placed in the water, his arms not even trembling. Of course, seeing Reese dunk a basketball showed his strength.
Nie Chuan looked down, pouting slightly.
“What are you thinking?” Reese leaned in and asked.
“Just get out. I don’t want you to come for the sixth time,” Nie Chuan said gloomily.
Of course, he didn’t tell Reese that what he was really thinking was: Why does Reese look so refreshed while he feels like he’s been run over by a truck?
But after being tossed around by Reese last night, Nie Chuan was impressed by his own resilience to still be alive.
“I’m already thinking about the sixth time,” Reese’s gaze was deep.
Nie Chuan immediately shrank to the side, his face filled with caution.
Reese smiled faintly, and Nie Chuan instantly remembered Reese’s seductive expression last night and the depth of the thrust that had crashed into him. Then… he couldn’t help but feel something!
“You… get out!” Nie Chuan pushed Reese, but Reese remained steadily seated at the edge of the bathtub, eyes lowered, watching Nie Chuan.
“I’ll help you wash,” Reese said, his hand reaching into the water. The moment his hand touched Nie Chuan, all the blood rushed to that spot, and Nie Chuan could hardly contain himself.
He just wanted to take care of it himself!
Reese clearly saw Nie Chuan’s reaction, and Nie Chuan thought he would laugh, but instead, Reese gently kissed his face. “I’ll help you out in a bit.”
“I don’t need… I can handle it myself!” Nie Chuan thought if Reese touched him again, he might actually die!
However, Reese lowered his head to look at Nie Chuan, his lips curving into a seductive smile. He lifted Nie Chuan’s fingers and gently took them into his lips, his gaze nearly setting Nie Chuan on fire. “Are you sure you don’t want to come in?”
Nie Chuan’s spine tensed as his fingertips touched Reese’s warm, moist tongue, gently sucking at that moment, his heart almost leaping out. “Yes! Yes! Of course, I want to!” Nie Chuan shouted without thinking.
“You look quite spirited now.”
Nie Chuan became alert instantly. “You… you have to keep your word!”
Reese chuckled and carefully cleaned between Nie Chuan’s legs, deliberately avoiding the more sensitive areas, making Nie Chuan almost die of anticipation.
Finally, when Reese lifted him from the bathtub, Nie Chuan got what he had been longing for. Reese pampered him completely, attuned to even the slightest change in his breathing, knowing exactly how to make Nie Chuan lose control and immerse him in the sensations he was providing.
Nie Chuan released a sigh of relief, panting, held in Reese’s arms.
“I’ll apply the medicine now,” Reese said.
Nie Chuan hadn’t recovered yet. “What?”
Reese turned him over, cushioning his waist with a pillow.
“What are you doing!” Nie Chuan panicked and struggled fiercely, regardless of the pain throughout his body. If Reese did it again, he really might end up paralyzed!
Reese soothingly pressed down on Nie Chuan’s waist. “I need to apply the medicine inside. It should be swollen. I promise I won’t do anything else.”
Despite this, Nie Chuan was still very nervous, especially since his most private parts were exposed under Reese’s gaze. But he couldn’t apply the medicine himself and had to let Reese do it.
“Will it always hurt like this?” Nie Chuan’s voice was muffled by the pillow.
He was embarrassed, using conversation to distract himself from the situation.
Reese suddenly stopped, carefully hugging Nie Chuan from behind, his breath warm on Nie Chuan’s neck. “Do you realize that by asking such a question, you’re implying I can do this again next time?”
Nie Chuan didn’t dare turn his face towards Reese, but he knew his ears must be visibly red.
“Next time, will you let me be on top?”
Reese kissed down Nie Chuan’s neck. “As long as you’re by my side, whether on top or below doesn’t matter.”
Knowing that the chances of him overpowering Reese were slim, Nie Chuan felt a warm feeling hearing Reese say that.
After applying the medicine, Reese dressed Nie Chuan in pajamas and fed him congee packed from a Chinese restaurant. Nie Chuan then fell asleep on the bed.
Reese lay beside him, holding him. Nie Chuan could only sleep face down, and occasionally Reese’s hand would slip under his clothes, touching his skin or caressing his turned face. When Nie Chuan began to snore lightly, Reese kissed his lips.
Nie Chuan finally woke up the next day. His muscles, previously sore, had recovered, though there was still a bit of swelling in the back.
“Ha ha! I’ve come back to life! Let’s go out and have fun!” Nie Chuan was already putting on his jacket, energetically standing by the bed. “I want to eat something delicious!”
Reese lay on the bed, propping his head and watching Nie Chuan. “You should look pitiful now, or you won’t be able to get up tomorrow.”
Nie Chuan paused, turned his head away, and said somewhat awkwardly, “I was really scared before. Thinking that being like that meant you completely controlled me, and I was no longer my own… What I was really afraid of was change. But now, I see that I’m still me. I make all my own decisions, whether it’s what to do, where to look, or who to fall in love with. Even if you were on top of me on the basketball court, it doesn’t mean I’m always under your control. I can still surpass you.”
Seconds passed, Reese’s position unchanged, and he didn’t speak, forcing Nie Chuan to look up and meet his gaze.
The moment their eyes met, Reese’s eyes were deep, reminding Nie Chuan of the Niebelungenlied, leading him towards an abyss from which there was no return.
“You saying that makes me want to tease you more,” Reese finally spoke.
“I won’t let you tease me,” Nie Chuan glared back.
“But speaking of which, who told me they would never cry because of me? Yet you cried a lot last night,” Reese’s smile was seductive, and Nie Chuan’s heart started racing again.
“That’s because you went too far!”
“Then next time, don’t make me wait so long.”
It sounded like a joke, but Nie Chuan knew Reese was serious.
Reese got up, and Nie Chuan intentionally ran to the door to put on his shoes, not looking at him. Because just looking at him would remind him of Zhou Bin’s comments about Reese’s physique.
They left the house, their breath turning white in the cold air. Reese clasped Nie Chuan’s hand, and they walked down the street together.
Nie Chuan smiled foolishly, lowering his head.
They went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. Nie Chuan was very hungry, but Reese wouldn’t let him eat anything hard to digest.
“I really want to eat spicy fried chicken cartilage!” Nie Chuan complained.
“You can eat it, but tomorrow morning, don’t cry to me that it hurts there,” Reese answered blandly.
Nie Chuan immediately lost his appetite.
After lunch, although Nie Chuan planned to take a nap, they had slept too much these past days and instead went to a movie theater to watch a detective film.
At first, Nie Chuan watched intently, but at some point, Reese began intentionally distracting him. When Nie Chuan turned to protest, Reese kissed him, and by the time the movie ended, Nie Chuan was breathless.
When the theater lights came on, Reese finally let him go.
Nie Chuan stood up, relieved that other audience members hadn’t noticed them. “Hey! You made me miss who the killer was!”
Reese sat in his place, looking up. “Let’s go back.”
His gaze was deep, his voice husky.
Nie Chuan swallowed, tugging at Reese. “Let’s go back.”
The two didn’t speak the entire way home, only the crunching of their shoes on the snowy ground.
As soon as Nie Chuan closed the door, Reese pressed him against it. The kiss was fervent and urgent. Nie Chuan held Reese tightly, responding as Reese lifted him by the legs and placed him on the bed.
Nie Chuan indulged himself, following Reese, giving himself completely to the other.
To make Nie Chuan comfortable, Reese initially endured with difficulty, but gradually lost control, and both stopped deliberately restraining themselves, fully experiencing each other.
As Reese held him and kissed him, Nie Chuan suddenly felt that this was quite enjoyable.
But Reese did not do it a second time.
