SABL Chapter 76

Lu Jingyan leaned back in his chair, and hooked his fingers at the omega in front of him.

Meng Wen put his arms around his neck obediently and opened his mouth.

Lu Jingyan pinched his chin and kissed him forcefully and domineeringly. He kissed Meng Wen until his cheeks flushed and his lips were bitten. A fine whimper came from his throat, but he still didn’t let go.

Shi Yi looked at the face that was three points like his own, and suddenly felt uncomfortable.

Lu Jingyan’s pheromone level is not low, and he is Meng Wen’s marked partner. Meng Wen softened after the kiss, his eyes were full of water, and his breathing was short and rapid.

But Lu Jingyan didn’t intend to comfort him at all. He just wiped his lower lip with his thumb. “Mr. Shi’s marriage partner, the former president of the Lu Corporation, Lu Yunye, is nothing now. Do you still like him?”

“He won’t even give you a mark.”

“Why don’t you obediently come to my side, the title of Mrs. President can still be yours.”

On the other end of the phone, Lu Yunye’s fingers twitched, and the veins on his hands bulged as he almost crushed the phone.

Shi Yi smiled faintly. “You don’t know your brother at all. The CEO of the Lu Group not only needs to have a high differentiation level, but more importantly, responsibility and judgment. You don’t have these, and can only play some tricks.”

“As for Lu Yunye, no matter what he becomes, he will always be my alpha. Even if you sit in the same chair, you’re still not one-ten-thousandth as good as him.”

“Your pheromone differentiation level isn’t bad, but your level as a human being isn’t high either.”

After Shi Yi finished speaking, he let out a deep breath, feeling extremely happy in his heart.

“You, an omega with incomplete glands, what right do you have to look down on me?” Lu Jingyan’s voice was full of suppressed anger. “Believe it or not, I will mark you right now. My brother’s expression must be very interesting.”

“You can eat indiscriminately, but you can’t talk indiscriminately.” A clear voice suddenly sounded at the door, and Lu Yan appeared at the door in a suit and leather shoes.

“I’m still in charge of the public relations of the Lu Group. The acting president’s words can damage the company’s image.”

“I don’t want to care about you either, but I still have some shares. Since Brother Yunye is not here, I will take care of my brother-in-law for him.”

Lu Yan has been abroad for a long time, and is not the typical omega. He especially despises this kind of domineering alpha. “You think marking omegas is like a dog pissing to mark territory. You should take a look in the mirror before saying such words.”

“Also, the bidding criteria for the two films have been submitted to the review committee. Even the acting president doesn’t have the right to veto. Before making a decision, President Lu should first understand the company’s charter.”

“Brother-in-law, let’s go.” After speaking, Lu Yan took Shi Yi’s hand and led him out of the office.

Left behind, Lu Jingyan was furious. When he saw the omega sitting on him, he angrily pushed Meng Wen to the ground. “Don’t let me see you!”

As soon as he entered the elevator, Lu Yan, who was like a little pepper a moment ago, immediately lost his momentum. “You scared me to death. Why did you go see that pervert by yourself? If something happens to you, Brother Yunye will definitely eat me alive!”

Seeing the other party’s nervous expression, Shi Yi felt a little apologetic. “I’m okay, I went to the front desk first. They said that you were on a business trip, and would inform you when you returned.”

“Brother-in-law, why are you so obedient?” Lu Yan stared at him immediately. “Just now you looked so strong in Silly Lu’s office. Why didn’t I know you’re so cute?”

Shi Yi: “Silly Lu?”

“That idiot Lu Jingyan,” Lu Yan waved his hand. After returning to China for more than a month, his strange accent had faded, and there was even a faint Beijing accent in his words.

“No, I’m just a little worried about Lu Yunye.” Shi Yi said softly. He couldn’t say some words back there, and relaxed a lot in front of this weird omega.

“My brother is fine.” Lu Yan blinked. “I’ll let you in on some news. Some senior executives in the company are planning to sell their shares soon.”

Shi Yi opened his eyes slightly. This coincides with Lu Yunye’s prediction from a few days ago.

“Because of a problem with the company’s capital chain, some people are already planning to run away, and sell at a low price. And those people who were bought by Silly Lu before are not loyal either.”

“My brother is really stubborn. When he was young, he chased an omega and even ran to find them in the rainstorm without an umbrella. As a result, he got caught in the rain and was seriously ill, but was alive and kicking again in a few days.”

Before middle school… Shi Yi thought of the childhood Bai Yueguang that Lu Yunye mentioned before, and felt a little uncomfortable.

He knew that Lu Yan was just talking casually. Given his open living environment abroad, it is not surprising to date several people at the same time. Who would pay attention to such embarrassing things from childhood?

But he still couldn’t help but think that Lu Yunye must have been in a hurry at the time to get caught in the rain.

As soon as the two of them walked out of the office building, Lu Yunye walked over with his phone in hand. Seeing the ongoing call on the screen, Lu Yan stuck out his tongue subconsciously. “Brother, I’m leaving first, there’s a meeting later.”

Now, Lu Yunye just wants to travel back to the past, and give the big talker two punches. Especially when thinking about what Shi Yi said in Lu Jingyan’s office, his heart feels sore.

Shi Yi said he was worried about him, yet he was like a scumbag who made him misunderstood.

He took Shi Yi’s hand: “Let’s go somewhere.”

Shi Yi took a taxi with him and arrived in front of a small building facing the street.

“Here it is……”

“The place where I took the pastry class.” Lu Yunye took his hand and walked directly to the second floor.

Most pastry students were omegas. As the only alpha, Lu Yunye naturally attracted a lot of attention, but because he looks fierce and taciturn, no one dared approach him.

It wasn’t class time yet and everyone was immersed in their own projects. But as soon as Lu Yunye showed up, several omegas immediately looked over.

He really is a top-level alpha, no matter where he is, he is the center of focus.

The students wore uniforms and white pastry hats, like fluffy cotton candy.

“Are you Lu Yunye’s omega?” Someone asked curiously.

Suddenly thinking of what Lu Yan said before, Shi Yi pursed his lips and shook his head under Lu Yunye’s surprised gaze. “I’m a new student here, Lu Yunye doesn’t have an omega.”

The expressions of the surrounding omega relaxed. “I thought the only alpha here has an owner.”

Lu Yunye usually says in a corner and will calmly and perfunctorily dismiss anyone who has the guts to strike up a conversation. Now that his relationship situation is clarified, the omegas in the classroom immediately exploded.

“Handsome, with a good figure, and can make small cakes. You can’t even find a better alpha elsewhere!”

“Hey, everyone needs to compete fairly… the seat next to Lu Yunye is mine.”

“Lu Yunye usually studies seriously, and packs everything up after class. I think he’s chasing an omega.”

Shi Yi’s expression froze. It turned out that Lu Yunye made all the desserts he brought to him every day by himself.

Lu Yunye gritted his teeth secretly seeing the swarming omegas. He wished he could drag Shi Yi over and kiss him until he admitted that it was his omega. Instead, he just lowered his head and mumbled, “I’m chasing after an omega.”

“Ah…”

There were dejected voices all around, and even Shi Yi couldn’t help but look up, but turned his face halfway and stopped abruptly.

Lu Yunye has someone he likes?

When he came to his senses, Lu Yunye had already changed into an apron. There was a different kind of chic feeling seeing him wear the milky white chef uniform.

Inexplicable emotions spread in his heart. Shi Yi subconsciously wanted to leave, but the teacher obviously noticed him, and beckoned: “This new classmate, since you’re Lu Yunye’s friend, you can try to watch by his side first. There is no tuition for the first trial.”

Shi Yi still wanted to leave, but the surrounding environment had gradually quieted down. As a newcomer, he didn’t want to disturb the class, and could only stand awkwardly beside Lu Yunye, facing towards the front of the classroom.

“Aren’t you my omega?” Lu Yunye whispered, his voice carrying some dissatisfaction.

Shi Yi put on a neutral and irritating expression. “Isn’t Mr. Lu chasing someone? I don’t dare intrude.”

This person pulled himself over just to see how popular he is with omegas?

He even comes to class every day, and should be drunk off of it.

Lu Yunye has been learning about cream cakes for a few days, and today is his first time making one. He wanted to bring Shi Yi over to have a taste, but now it turns out he needs to coax him first.

Lu Yunye took Shi Yi’s hand and wiped them off with a wet wipe without saying a word.

Shi Yi’s palms were itchy, and he subconsciously retracted his hand. “What are you doing?”

Their actions were like two angry elementary school students. Even the teacher couldn’t help but look over: “What’s wrong?”

“Student Shi can’t wait to participate, I’m just helping him wipe his hands.” Lu Yunye raised the wet wipe in his hand, with an upright and innocent expression.

Sure enough, the teacher didn’t doubt his explanation. “Students, don’t waste time, you can’t leave the room until your cakes are finished.”

That means he can leave after they’re done, right?

Having learned how to draw with needles and thread since he was a child, it was no problem for Shi Yi to make two cream flowers. He just wants to finish it and leave.

What he didn’t expect was that Lu Yunye’s hands full of calluses were actually very steady as he carefully spread a layer of cream on the cake, making the surface smooth and even. The cake was baked previously, with fruit pulp and chocolate sauce hidden inside.

Not to be outdone, Shi Yi rolled up his sleeves, picked up a stick of cream and tried to squeeze a simple little flower onto it. After coloring and decorating, it turned lifelike immediately.

“What kind of flower is this?” Lu Yunye couldn’t help smiling as he looked at the small, abrupt flower.

“…Peach blossom,” Shi Yi counted the petals, there were five in total, and his voice became more confident. “They’re peach blossoms, don’t laugh.”

Lu Yunye stopped smiling, and just watched Shi Yi squeeze a few more flowers, and then use dark brown jam to draw slender and strong branches. They really matched the peach blossoms in early spring, some are blooming enthusiastically, while others are shyly budding.

When Shi Yi is serious about something, he is very focused, and tunes the outside world out. Lu Yunye couldn’t resist stretching out his hand and dabbing some cream on the tip of his nose, shattering his austere atmosphere into a silly cuteness.

The annoying little guy even said he wasn’t his omega.

Shi Yi only felt a chill on his nose, and raised his head in a daze, with vigilance in his eyes. “What?”

“It’s dirty, I’ll wipe it off for you.” Lu Yunye said with a smile.

The two of them looked like two awkward rivaling students who were arranged to sit together and had to complete their homework together.

It’s just that one is really angry, while the other one looks at the angry one with smiles on the corners of his eyes and lips.

“Okay, it’s finished.” Shi Yi didn’t realize it. He finished painting a few bunches of peach branches, leaving blank space to attract people’s imagination. The picture is clean and simple, and looks a little lonely.

“Not yet.”

Lu Yunye chose a bag of white cream, squeezed it casually, and made a round lump.

“What are you drawing?” Shi Yi frowned lightly.

He saw the alpha’s wrist move slightly, and the lump of cream grew a head and limbs, and finally a pair of long ears… A little rabbit lay under the peach branch sleeping.

“The little rabbit is too lonely,” Lu Yunye said to himself, and drew a bigger one beside it. The big rabbit leaned its upper body, as if trying to reach those crumbling peach blossoms.

Looking at the chubby little body, Shi Yi’s expression also relaxed a little: “Not bad.”

After looking down for so long, his neck was a little sore. Shi Yi raised his head, only to realize the other students were long gone.

The omega teacher at the other end of the classroom smiled kindly at him, and pointed to his nose.

Shi Yi was taken aback for a moment, and looked at the glass window behind him, only to realize that there was a dollop of white cream on his nose.

“Lu Yunye!” His cold white face suddenly turned red. Shi Yi released his anger, ready to settle the score when he was pulled into a firm embrace unexpectedly.

Today’s weather is exceptionally good, full of sunshine and fluffy clouds, making the artificially lit room look dark instead.

The alpha lowered his head and kissed the tip of his nose lightly. Imprisoned Shi Yi was unable to move. He could only let him kiss the cream away, his eyelashes fluttering.

After Lu Yunye had tasted enough of the sweetness, he let him go.

“You really don’t know who the omega I plan to chase is?”
