There was a startling muffled thud when fist hit flesh.
Shi Yi naturally believed in Lu Yunye’s strength as an S-level alpha, but Lu Jingyan’s physical strength had also improved with drugs.
The punch was aimed directly at Lu Yunye’s face, but the latter turned his head away. Lu Jingyan wanted to destroy that haughty and incomparable face that haunted his dreams.
Lu Jingyan likes muay thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, while Lu Yunye was trained in the army. The two were evenly matched as they fought intensely, draining each other’s physical strength.

Shi Yi couldn’t control it anymore. He rushed into the cage and hugged Lu Yunye’s waist, his voice trembling: “It’s ok…”
“If you continue hitting, he will die.”
Lu Yunye’s whole body was tense. Hugging him felt like hugging an iron plate; the muscles under Shi Yi’s hands contained terrifying strength.
The person on the ground with a bruised nose and swollen face was like a pile of mud. Enduring the pain, Lu Jingyan thought to himself – it’s a pity, he didn’t expect that even after taking stimulants, he was still no match for Lu Yunye.
It’s best to let the other party beat him to death, so he’ll go to jail. He will be satisfied if Lu Yunye can be embarrassed for a minute.
He sat up with difficulty, and when he opened his mouth, blood flowed down the corner of his mouth. He raised two fingers and blew a kiss to Shi Yi, “Brother-in-law is distressed.”

The warmth against Lu Yunye’s neck quickly spread. He knew Shi Yi was easily shy, so he hugged back, and turned them around awkwardly so his back faced the policemen coming and going. “It’s all right.”
“I can’t let you become a widow as soon as you admit our relationship.”
“Lu Yunye, you bastard,” Shi Yi swore for the first time. “If you beat Lu Jingyan to death, you will be implicated as well.”
“He provoked me first. I acted purely in self-defense, and… I have a sense of propriety,” Lu Yunye chuckled. “He’s still alive.”
“You!” Shi Yi chided.
“Okay, I won’t say anything. I’ll listen to my wife,” Lu Yunye could only beg for mercy. “Don’t be angry, okay?”
“Back when he hurt you at the Mid-Autumn Festival banquet, I told you that I would definitely return the favor.”
“Who asked you to?” Shi Yi thumped his back hard. “Bastard.”
Lu Yunye couldn’t help gasping in pain. “Hiss…”
Shi Yi panicked immediately, and wanted to check the wound. “Does it hurt?”
The arms wrapped around his waist did not relax. “Don’t worry, hug me for a while.”

I think this is LYY’s last susceptible period in the LN. But it’s a fun one!
