Who is this man, really?
With his mind hazy, Kagura Jinya tries to think.
His entire body is still dominated by a fierce, electric numbness down to his fingertips. Even the nerves behind his eyes seem paralyzed, making it difficult for him to focus.
Like a human sandbag, he is hoisted up onto the man’s shoulder as if he were nothing more than baggage. The man carries him in a position similar to how a firefighter would rescue an injured person from a fire―――slung over the neck as if wearing a scarf.
Being able to carry a 178 cm, 67 kg man without effort likely requires someone who has undergone special training―――or someone who’s survived countless brutal situations.
And this man is probably the latter.
Guided only by the faint light of the thin moon, he sprints through the maze-like alleys without hesitation, like a wild beast with perfect night vision.
The sound of numerous footsteps pursuing from behind gradually fades and finally disappears altogether.
All Kagura can hear now is the man’s strong breathing and the rapid footsteps of someone carrying the weight of two bodies.
Have I been rescued?
Or have I been captured by a new enemy?
In his near-breaking consciousness, Kagura finds himself unable to reach an answer.

If you guys have read my other translation, ‘Melted Love’, then you know that my favorite author is Fuyuko Sano. Now, I’m telling you my favorite illustrator is Oyamada Ami. This series!!!! My favorites worked together! It’s the epitome of happiness and excitement for me! ANDDDD I dare tell you, the series is filled with spicy scenes and of course, the dark sides of the world (since it’s Fuyuko-sensei!). The art is just beautiful! So beautiful!!
This light novel consists of 2 main stories, 1 side story (255 pages). Hence, I have to cut them into several pieces to be posted here. So, the numbering for my chapter will be different from the original novel. I don’t wanna divide my chapters into parts as well so we’ll just go slowly as chapter 1, 2, 3 until we reach whichever number of chapters we’ll get to. I’ve divided it so that each chapter that I’m posting on the site will probably be around 1K to 1.2K words (except for Mature chapters which will be longer). However, I will mark at the beginning of each chapter with ‘Chapter 1, Part 1’ and so on so that if you get your hands on the novel, you can still find which is which. There are also illustrations from the novel which I will scan and post on the site. With that being said, hop on and enjoy! -K
