His jacket buttons were undone, and a hand moved to his belt.

Kagura involuntarily placed his hand on Zero’s.

“It’s fine, I’ll do it. I’ll do you.”

“Unfortunately, I’m in the mood to be the one doing.”

“What’s wrong? Losing your nerve all of a sudden?”

Letting go of Zero’s hand, Kagura turned his face sharply away.

Once Zero finally released him, Kagura shook off his grip, pulled up his underwear, and fastened his slacks. As he threaded his belt through the buckle, he issued a warning in a low voice.

“Don’t think this means you can control me.”

“Don’t be so harsh. We both got what we wanted. It’s a fair give-and-take, isn’t it?”

Kagura couldn’t understand how anyone could be satisfied doing that with another man, but he kept silent, knowing it would be troublesome if Zero expected anything more.

As Kagura sat in silence, Zero returned to the driver’s seat and picked up his phone.

Kagura glanced over, watching as Zero’s thick fingers slid swiftly over the screen, and he saw a video from the warehouse being deleted. Unable to hold back his curiosity, he asked, “Why did you delete it?”

Even if Kagura wouldn’t be blackmailed by a video, Zero could have still saved it for leverage if necessary.

With a slight twist of his mouth, Zero replied.

“I own you, and you own me. There’s no need for a leash like that, is there?”

“―――”

After what had just happened, there was a unique bond between them now.

Kagura leaned back into the seat, which was still reclined, and closed his eyes. The lingering afterglow clung to his legs, irritating him.

Zero was hard to pin down, but one thing was certain: he was not someone to underestimate.

―――I’ll definitely make him submit.

As he thought this, a spark of determination lit within him. 

His suit pocket suddenly vibrated. He took out his phone and softened a bit as he checked the screen.

Answering the call, Sanae’s voice, flipped in worry, asked if he was safe. Relieved to hear that he was unharmed, Kagura ended the call.

He then straightened his seat and turned to Zero.

“My otter just squeaked his thanks for being saved by the writers.”

Sanae’s report matched what Zero had mentioned earlier.

“You saved him.”

When he bowed his head, Zero let out a short chuckle.

“You’re welcome.”
