TCFGBH Chapter 130

TCFGBH Chapter 130

Extra.

Tianqi Airport.

A large group of fans gathered together, craning their necks and anxiously looking toward the exit. They occasionally exchanged whispers with their friends.

“Why isn’t he out yet? Didn’t they say the flight landed at 3:30? It’s already 4:00.”

“The flight seems to have been delayed.”

“Over there… Look! Is that him?”

“Let me see!”

In the distance stood a young man, standing just over 1.8 meters tall with broad shoulders and long legs. A black jacket fit snugly over his upper body, paired with a black bucket hat and sunglasses that covered most of his face. Yet even with most of his features concealed, the exposed patch of skin was so fair it seemed almost dazzling.

The stark contrast between the pure black and white, along with his rosy red lips, gave off an inexplicable allure, almost indecently seductive.

A group of young girls whipped out their phones, frantically taking photos of him while calling out, “Brother!” They quickly pushed prepared gifts into his hands.

The young man froze, and in an instant, an LV handbag was in his grip.

Then, more expensive luxury goods were shoved toward him.

“Brother, you must’ve worked so hard filming!”

“We’ve been waiting so long. Can you sign an autograph for us?”

“What are you doing? Brother’s already tired. Don’t make things harder for him,” someone scolded softly.

“S-Sorry!” A girl, embarrassed, quickly retracted the postcard she had extended, the photo on it featuring the recently skyrocketing idol, Qu Shu, who had risen to fame from a talent show.

The young man glanced at the photo, seeming to finally realize the misunderstanding. He sighed and said helplessly, “You’ve got the wrong person. I’m not Qu Shu.”

The scene was overwhelmingly noisy, with fans passionately proclaiming their love for their idol at full volume. His explanation was drowned out by the cacophony, and almost no one heard him.

Helplessly, he could only remove his sunglasses and adjust his hat, fully exposing his face to the crowd.

For a brief moment, there was silence.

The young man had an exceptionally striking and flamboyant face. Every feature was exquisitely crafted. His upturned almond-shaped eyes seemed naturally imbued with affection, making anyone feel like a close lover. Yet, the cold and clear detachment in his gaze hinted at a certain aloofness.

This subtle contrast only made him more captivating.

He stood there with a calm and indifferent expression, yet his presence was overpowering—like a blazing sun in the distant sky, dazzling and radiant, making others feel inferior by comparison.

“I’m not Qu Shu,” he repeated.

The crowd, as if waking from a dream, collectively gasped. Then, their enthusiasm surged even higher as they swarmed toward him.

“Handsome, what’s your name? Which agency are you with? Are you debuting? I’m already your fan!”

“That face… Please debut for the sake of us face lovers!”

“My new wife—no, handsome guy, just take the gift. It’s yours! By the way, can I have your account? I’ll follow you!”

The young man found himself surrounded.

Meanwhile, the real star had just walked out. Seeing his fans gathered around someone else, his mouth twitched. “What’s going on? Weren’t they supposed to be here to greet me?”

The manager replied, “Let me check.”

Two minutes later, the manager returned, panting. “…They mistook Young Master Xia for you.”

“Young Master Xia?” Qu Shu’s eyes lit up. “Xia Yan?? Where is he? Let me see—fuck… so many people, I can’t get through.”

“…” The manager sighed. “Don’t use foul language in public.”

Qu Shu, a current top celebrity, found himself pushed out by his own fans. After struggling with all his might, he finally squeezed into the center of the crowd.

By the time he got there, his clothes were wrinkled, his hair was a mess, and he looked like a disheveled puppy—both pitiful and endearing.

Some fans, noticing someone breaking through the barrier, voiced their displeasure: “Who is that? Don’t they know the rules? You’re not allowed to approach an idol up close!”

“…” One sharp-eyed fan caught a clear look at his face and murmured, “I think it’s… our brother.”

Fans: “…” Quietly retracting their posters and hands.

Qu Shu paid no mind to the fans’ reactions. The moment he saw the young man, he happily trotted over. “Young Master Xia, what a coincidence! You’re on this flight back to the country too? My manager brought a car. I can take you home.”

Xia Yan, overwhelmed by the crowd and the unsolicited gifts, finally exhaled in relief at the sight of the real celebrity. Without hesitation, he shoved everything into Qu Shu’s arms. “No need. Xiangze is here to pick me up. These are your fans’ gifts for you.”

Qu Shu, an artist under Li Xiangze’s company, had met Xia Yan a few times but wasn’t particularly close to him.

Hearing his boss’s name made Qu Shu instantly tense up. Any playful thoughts vanished as he tried to clear the way for Xia Yan, watching him leave with a longing gaze.

Falling for someone you can’t possibly have.

Heartbroken.

Fans: “…” Stanning someone destined never to debut.

Also heartbroken.

In a way, the fans and their idol shared the same thoughts as they watched Xia Yan leave, a strange sort of synchronicity.

After graduating from high school, Xia Yan had successfully enrolled in a top domestic university. He later went abroad for further studies, earning a master’s degree. With no financial pressure and parents who didn’t insist he inherit the family business, he chose to study drama and film. Recently, he’d been experimenting with making short films.

This time, he returned to the country not only because his studies were complete but also for a bigger reason—he had finally decided to be honest with his parents about his relationship with Li Xiangze and Huo Hao.

A familiar Chinese restaurant.

Xia Yan’s parents sat at the head of the table, sipping tea absentmindedly. Every few seconds, they glanced toward the door. After a while, Mother Xia sighed. “Yan Yan said he’d bring his boyfriend to have dinner with us. I wonder who he’ll bring?”

Father Xia, calm and composed, replied, “It’ll be either Xiangze or Huo Hao. Both are good kids. I have no objections to whoever he chooses.”

“That’s true.”

With that thought, Mother Xia relaxed a bit.

Over the years, everything else in their lives had been smooth sailing, except for their son’s elusive love life. They had always worried that one day he might make a disastrous choice.

Now that things were finally settling down, they felt relieved.

Time ticked by, and at 5:26, the private room door clicked open.

Huo Hao, impeccably dressed, walked in with an apologetic smile. “Uncle, Auntie, I’m sorry I’m late.”

“No, no, we came early.”

The agreed meeting time was 6:00, but the couple had grown impatient and arrived early.

They exchanged glances.

—Looks like it’s him.

—Yes, it’s him. Our son’s partner.

Huo Hao, sweet-talking and charming, quickly had both elders laughing and smiling. Xia’s parents tactfully avoided mentioning Li Xiangze.

As the clock neared 6:00, Xia Yan arrived with Li Xiangze.

“Dad, Mom, sorry for the delay. Traffic was heavy, but we made it on time.” Xia Yan greeted them and gestured for Li Xiangze to sit. “Have you ordered yet? Their signature crispy duck is pretty good.”

Li Xiangze greeted politely, “Uncle, Auntie, good evening.”

The couple: “…”

Mother Xia blinked in confusion. “Yan Yan, you said you’d bring your boyfriend to meet us.”

“Yes.”

“So, this is…”

“Well, it’s a long story.” Xia Yan put down the menu and licked his dry lips nervously. “Actually… they’re both my boyfriends.”

“…”

“…”

“…”

Father Xia clutched his chest. “Yan Yan, our family doesn’t tolerate cheating! This is immoral!”

“Dad, you’ve misunderstood. They’re actually… the same person,” Xia Yan explained, half laughing and half crying.

Mother Xia raised an eyebrow. “Do you think your father and I are blind?”

These were heirs of two prominent families. How could they possibly be the same person? Unless the world ended and they merged into one being.

“It’s hard for me to explain, so I’ll let him tell you.”

Huo Hao extended a finger and lightly tapped the couple’s heads from a distance. “Uncle, Auntie, I apologize in advance.”

The next second, countless pieces of information flooded their minds. The universe, the cosmos, the past, the future—concepts beyond human comprehension made their heads spin.

After a long while, Mother Xia was the first to recover.

She looked at her son and his partners with a dazed expression. “So… you’re currently forced to be separate, but when this world’s lifespan ends, you’ll leave, merge into one, and be with Yan Yan?”

Li Xiangze nodded. “That’s right. Our current identities are special, so we can’t end things prematurely.”

At least not until the world’s destiny stabilized and a new protagonist was born.

Huo Hao added, “Uncle, Auntie, if you ever grow bored of this world, you can also explore other worlds as players.”

Li Xiangze smiled warmly. “From now on, we’re family.”

Huo Hao followed up, “What’s mine is yours.”

What human could resist the temptation of immortality? When it came to winning over in-laws, even a Supreme God would spare no effort in playing to their strengths.

Father and Mother Xia nodded blankly.

A tasteless meal.

It wasn’t until they returned home, after both Li Xiangze and Huo Hao had left, that Father and Mother Xia finally had time to ponder the situation. Father Xia asked hesitantly, “Will their parents from this world follow them in the future?”

“No,” Xia Yan said tactfully, “Their relationships with their parents aren’t very harmonious.”

Most protagonists endure tragic backstories, neglected by both father and mother. Unfortunately, this world’s fragmented shards of the Supreme God were no exception.

Father Xia nodded blankly. “Oh, that’s good. Without elders meddling, it’ll reduce a lot of conflicts.” After a moment’s hesitation, he couldn’t help but add, “But our statuses seem very different from theirs. If he ever regrets it, you…”

A god so powerful—if anyone got hurt, it would only be the fragile human.

Xia Yan hesitated briefly before revealing the truth about the quick transmigration worlds: “…That’s why we’ve already experienced many lifetimes of love. It’s not just impulsive.”

In every world, His love for him was fervent and boundless.

His love was possessive yet harmless. Even when He lost His memory and was at a disadvantage, He still helped Xia Yan become better, never pulling him down.

He trusted Him.

Father Xia’s concerns were allayed, but Mother Xia raised another question: “If he has to play the protagonist in different worlds, doesn’t that mean he’ll have romantic entanglements with various people?”

“This…” Xia Yan’s face turned faintly red. “…He only plays roles in worlds where I exist. He’s always…” Here, Xia Yan trailed off, unable to voice the last few words due to embarrassment.

He was always there for him.

Their first meeting had been in this world, a coincidence. A young Xia Yan clung to His leg, calling Him “Big Brother.” At first, He found it amusing, treating him like a pet to toy with casually.

But after a while, feelings grew.

One day, the two protagonists of this world got into a fight. Both accidentally fell down the stairs and ended up as vegetative patients. The world began to collapse. Unwilling to lose the little one He had raised Himself, He tore off two fragments of His soul and merged them with the protagonists’ bodies.

Splitting His soul was no easy feat, not even for the Supreme God. He returned to His realm and fell into a deep slumber. When He opened His eyes again, much time had passed—enough for the young boy He once raised to have lived and died.

When He fused the two fragments’ memories, He was overwhelmed by their intense love and couldn’t help but shed tears.

He found the young man’s soul and entrusted it to System 999, enabling him to travel through different worlds and repair his fractured soul. Once again, He split His essence, though this time He avoided falling into slumber.

He wanted them to fall in love. So, selfishly, He chose a special storyline.

Come closer to him, no matter the reason.

Even if it’s just for the sake of the mission, He didn’t care.

He believed that they would be together, no matter how much time passed.

Forever together. Forever in love. In this eternal, frozen expanse of time.

Hm, I don’t think that I particularly like the ending. Tbh, I felt that the endings in each arc were the weak points. Like, the story was quite nice, and seemed to build to a really interesting conclusion, only to end up being mediocre at best at each arc, and the main ending as well. Too bad, because otherwise I liked the novel.

    Thank you for the translation!

The idea of the story is nice but I do agree with the 1st commenter that the ending of each arc were the weak points and the overall ending seems bland? It felt like after building up a good setting the plot just gets rushed midway like it just needed to end after that. For the overall ending or plot as we say, it felt confusing for me. This is tagged as 1v1 but felt like a 2v1 cause I cannot fandom how the two are the same and how frequent one gets more affection but with the overall ending it really feels more of a 2v1. Cause the only that binded the ML as one is the “connection of the soul” which to me was just quite funny.

Still thank you translators and have a nice day!

  7. This somehow… felt a little empty? Unsatisfied? I am a bit upset that I didn’t get to see the Lord God in, uh, one piece. And a little more backstory;-;;
