CFRFGC Chapter 134

Proposal (3)

⌈”Besides, what if I can’t help it?”⌋

As he spoke, the young man lifted his chin, his expression full of pride.

The corners of his eyes and the arches of his brows carried a seductive glint, making his words all the more convincing.

Guo Zhou, standing across from him, was so struck that he couldn’t even respond.

Lu Ran, after all, had the face of a campus white moonlight.

How could someone with such a face speak like that?

“You, you, you!” Guo Zhou looked like his dreams had been shattered.

Lu Ran sneered and continued, “My boyfriend always lasts at least an hour…”

Ji Min, unable to listen anymore, dashed over in a flash, covering Lu Ran’s mouth.

The others in the room stood awkwardly in place.

The atmosphere became unbearably tense, and someone, not sure who, forced out a laugh.

The awkward yet polite chuckles of the farm owner and the teachers spread across the room.

Each laugh carried a hidden feeling of, “Why on earth am I here?”

Lu Ran reached up to pry Ji Min’s hand away from his mouth.

Ji Min took a deep breath and kept his hand there for a moment longer.

Once he was sure Lu Ran wouldn’t say anything else shocking, he slowly released him.

Interrupted like this, Lu Ran had forgotten what he was about to say.

He paused in awkward silence for a while, cleared his throat, and said, “Apologies for the trouble.”

The farm owner immediately stepped in to smooth things over: “I understand, I understand. Young people…”

Ji Min: “…”

Better not to understand, actually.

Please just forget that part, thank you.

Lu Ran looked up as a crowd of people walked in, but he didn’t seem fazed.

He wasn’t concerned about any of this.

He had said all of this in places with more people before, even before he’d done anything.

Now that he’d already slept with Ji Min, what was there to be embarrassed about?

Ji Min could only helplessly pull him by the hand to walk out.

As they passed by the door, Ji Min glanced down at Guo Zhou, who was still standing there in a daze.

The faint smile on Ji Min’s face faded slightly.

He looked down from his towering height.

At 1.9 meters tall, Ji Min’s presence was naturally overwhelming.

Moreover, he was Ji Min, the young chairman of the Ji Group.

When dealing with someone like Guo Zhou, a self-important university student who hadn’t even graduated yet, Ji Min didn’t need to say anything harsh.

He simply lowered his gaze, glancing at Guo Zhou indifferently, and casually asked, “Are you from the Guo family?”

Guo Zhou was about to say something, but upon hearing the man’s question, he instinctively replied, “Y-yes…”

Ji Min smiled faintly, his lips curling into a subtle grin.

He said simply, “I saw your father just last week.”

Those words made Guo Zhou turn pale, stammering as if he were a child caught by their parents.

Ji Min didn’t say anything further. He withdrew his gaze, took Lu Ran’s hand, and left the office.

Once they reached a place where no one else was around,

Lu Ran could no longer hold back and let out a muffled laugh.

“Not bad, Uncle Ji,” he teased, leaning close to Ji Min’s ear.

Ji Min, with a large hand on his head, pushed him away. “Laughing? Still laughing? What was that you were saying in the office earlier?”

“What’s wrong? You don’t like me complimenting you?”

Lu Ran leaned in again.

Ji Min, unable to do anything with him, pulled him into an embrace and sighed quietly. “Your teachers were all there.”

Lu Ran rolled his eyes. “I wasn’t embarrassed, so why should you be?”

He looked at Ji Min with the same gaze as always, blunt and overly honest.

“I sleep with my boyfriend. What’s the problem with that?”

Ji Min: “…”

After a long pause, he sighed and said, “…Stop talking.”

Lu Ran wasn’t happy. “I’ll just say it.”

“My boyfriend… ugh!”

Before he could finish, his mouth was covered.

Ji Min leaned in and kissed him for a while.

The midday sun was shining brightly.

The brilliant white light bathed the spacious, flat farm, with the scent of dried hay wafting around.

It was a peaceful, refreshing quiet.

After a long kiss, Ji Min slowly lifted his head, gazing at the person in front of him, and sighed.

“What if we can’t resist anymore?”

Lu Ran: “…”

The man began to ponder seriously, “Go back to the dorm?”

“But the excuse for packing up the luggage has already been used. Do we have any other excuses?”

Lu Ran: “…”

Finally, he gave in and whispered, “Maybe not.”

They were busy for several more hours.

By the time it was nearing evening, Lu Ran finally lifted his suitcase and sat in the car for the return journey.

“I’m so exhausted,” he slouched into the seat.

But Da Huang immediately came over.

Lu Ran picked up Da Huang and kissed him a few times. “Wow! Did you miss me?”

Da Huang enthusiastically welcomed him for a while before settling down.

Lu Ran slouched back into the rear seat again.

“Are you really tired?” Ji Min asked him.

Lu Ran grunted.

It had been another day of assessments and handling unexpected situations.

Even when he got back to the dorm, he didn’t have a moment to rest.

After all the hard work, he had to keep running around.

While busy, he hadn’t really felt it.

But now, with the relaxation setting in, Lu Ran felt like his entire body was falling apart.

Seeing that he was genuinely tired, Ji Min reached over, placed a hand behind his waist, and gently massaged him for a while.

Lu Ran shifted to a more comfortable position.

After switching positions a few times, he eventually just laid his head on Ji Min’s lap.

He first hugged Ji Min’s waist, his face buried in his chest as he rested for a while.

But it seemed like it had been too long since they’d been apart.

Now, just a simple touch made him think of all sorts of messy scenarios.

Lu Ran buried his head for a while but then sensed something was off.

He quickly shifted to lying flat on his back.

His ears were burning red.

Ji Min chuckled lightly.

Lu Ran glared at him.

The man’s fingers combed through his hair and gently covered his eyes.

“Sleep for a while if you’re tired.”

Lu Ran held onto his wrist, drowsily closing his eyes, and soon fell asleep.

The farm wasn’t close to where they were staying.

Lu Ran stayed nestled in the backseat, sleeping throughout the journey.

When he woke up after a good rest, the sky outside the car window had already turned dark.

He was covered with an air-conditioning blanket.

Lu Ran yawned and sat up. “Where are we?”

Ji Min moved his legs, which had fallen asleep, and said, “You really know how to sleep. You opened your eyes and we were already home.”

The car entered the villa.

Lu Ran opened the car door, got out, and stretched lazily.

Butler Chen had already prepared dinner and was standing on the steps waiting for them.

Seeing Lu Ran, he smiled and asked, “How did the assessment go?”

“No problem at all.”

Lu Ran replied confidently, with a hint of pride, saying, “During the exam today, one of the cows even fell ill…”

Ji Min, who was behind him, added, “And splashed you with mud.”

“Shut up.” Lu Ran snapped at him.

After a lively dinner, Lu Ran took a nice bath.

When he returned to bed, wearing slippers and feeling relaxed from the bath, it was already quite late.

But probably because he had slept during the ride, he was now full of energy.

He lay down on the bed and started replying to messages on his phone.

Not long after, the mattress on one side of the bed sank slightly.

Ji Min had finished his bath, was drying his hair, and sat down on the bed.

The bed was large, with plenty of space. But the man, as if not noticing, insisted on lying down next to him.

“Move over,” Lu Ran pushed him. “It’s so hot, don’t stick to me.”

Ji Min clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction and said, “Who was it who said my body was cool and insisted on sticking to me back then?”

“You just got out of the shower, you’re hot!” Lu Ran retorted.

The man lowered his head, nuzzling the end of Lu Ran’s hair with his nose, and whispered, “The air conditioner is on.”

“Still hot.”

Lu Ran put his phone down and turned to push him away.

But he couldn’t push him. Instead, his wrist was grabbed by the man.

“What do you want to do?” Lu Ran squinted at him.

Ji Min didn’t answer, only lowered his head and nuzzled him like a big dog.

He looked completely harmless.

Occasionally, he would show his sharp teeth and gently bite the tip of Lu Ran’s ear.

Lu Ran couldn’t help but want to laugh.

He deliberately made a move to get up and said, “I haven’t seen Da Huang in a long time. I’m going to play ball with it.”

Ji Min, however, kept his hand on Lu Ran’s waist and whispered, “At this time, Da Huang is already asleep. It’s been running around all day, so it’s tired.”

Lu Ran lay back down on the bed and deliberately said, “Well, I’m tired too.”

At this moment, Ji Min was persistent. He coaxed him, “It’s okay if you’re tired, you don’t have to do anything.”

“That’s not possible. I want to sleep,” Lu Ran lifted his chin and said.

“You’ve already slept all afternoon and you still want to sleep?” Ji Min patted his waist.

“Ah!”

Lu Ran suddenly realized. He sat up with a start and pointed at Ji Min, saying, “I knew it! You kept letting me sleep in the car. Now I know it was so I could be fully rested for this!”

Ji Min couldn’t help but laugh, hugging him.

The two of them continued to play around for a while longer.

The next day, Lu Ran didn’t wake up until the middle of the afternoon.

Poor Da Huang, it had waited so long for its owner to come home.

But when it woke up in the morning, it was still Ji Min who fed it dog food and took it for a walk.

Ji Min wasn’t idle, though.

After taking care of Da Huang, he worked for a bit and then opened a document to write and sketch.

The document was already quite long.

However, the contents weren’t related to work, but rather Ji Min’s marriage proposal plan.

Ji Min had a somewhat old-fashioned approach.

He placed a lot of importance on the ceremony of such a significant event.

This plan had already been revised several times.

After finally completing a version he was satisfied with, it had been put aside because Lu Ran had been too busy to find the time.

Ji Min knew that if he asked, Lu Ran would definitely try his best to make time for him.

But Ji Min didn’t want that.

Although he occasionally complained that Lu Ran was too focused on his studies and didn’t pay enough attention to him, Ji Min really liked seeing Lu Ran immersed in his field of expertise.

Just like yesterday at the farm.

He watched as the young man calmly stood by the fallen animal, dealing with the illness seriously and calmly, comforting the animal.

Seeing Lu Ran making progress in his beloved field step by step gave Ji Min a strong sense of happiness.

But now, fortunately, Lu Ran had finally become available.

Ji Min wanted to settle things as soon as possible, so he could feel more at ease.

It would save him from dealing with people who had no boundaries getting close to Lu Ran.

He looked down at the time and felt it was about time.

Ji Min then picked up a cup of hot water and returned to the bedroom.

The person on the bed was still asleep.

But it was clear they were nearing the stage of waking up.

Ji Min walked over and stared at the young man’s sleeping face for a while.

Then, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, he reached out and gently ruffled his bangs.

Lu Ran stirred but didn’t wake up.

The man then reached out to pinch his nose.

This time, it didn’t take long before Lu Ran woke up.

He groggily opened his eyes, looked at Ji Min, and mumbled, “Isn’t this a bit much? You didn’t exhaust me enough last night, now you’re trying to murder me?”

Ji Min laughed and said, “If you don’t wake up soon, you’ll end up complaining that I starved you to death.”

Lu Ran snuggled into the pillow and stretched lazily.

It wasn’t much when he wasn’t moving, but once he stretched his body, his entire face twisted in discomfort.

“Are you hungry?” Ji Min asked.

“Hungry my ass.” Lu Ran sat up, his face still contorting in pain. “Great, did you tear me apart and put me back together again yesterday?”

Upon hearing this, Ji Min lowered his head and lightly coughed.

He had indeed been a bit excessive last night.

That’s the thing with exercise – after not doing it for a while, it’s always tough to get up the next morning.

“Want me to massage you?” Ji Min offered.

Lu Ran, comfortably lying back on the bed, casually put his legs on Ji Min’s lap and commanded, “Knead my calf muscles.”

After a moment, he complained, “Your technique is too basic. Do something more varied.”

Ji Min, ever patient, massaged him all around.

In the end, Lu Ran still felt uncomfortable in his lower back.

As Ji Min massaged his back, Lu Ran grumbled, “Great, I’m so young. Am I going to end up with a slipped disc?”

Ji Min, with both hands on his waist, replied, “A slipped disc probably isn’t the case…”

He paused to think carefully for a moment, then added pragmatically, “From the posture and strain, it’s more likely your pelvis is tilted forward.”

Lu Ran: “…”

He turned his head to look at Ji Min.

The man’s face was completely serious, making it impossible to tell he had just said something absurd.
