SWMSO – Chapter 102

Extra Story 2 - Jiang Sixian (End)

Just before Jiang Sixian arrived, Jiang Yi encountered the most absurd “kept woman” proposal of her life.

She vividly remembered her military service days—because she was decent-looking and had no influential background, whenever she was assigned to protect wealthy heiresses, someone would inevitably hint at offering her patronage.

These propositions came from omegas, betas, even other alphas.

Jiang Yi sometimes questioned her existence, wondering if she simply had one of those faces that screamed “sugar baby material.” Later she realized it wasn’t that. It was just that alphas like her were too rare, and these people collected her like some kind of trophy.

In this world, sleeping with a rare alpha like her probably counted as bragging rights among certain circles.

This made Jiang Yi feel like some unwillingly performing panda, forced to take photos with people she disliked every day.

Now, as she stared at the female omega standing before her, she understood perfectly that this girl was no different from all those would-be patrons—except for being far bolder than the rest.

Jiang Yi raised her left hand, flashing her wedding ring as she took a deep breath: “I don’t know what misunderstanding you’re operating under, but I’m married. I’ll pretend I never heard what you just said.”

The omega smiled, crossing her arms: “I know. I’ve done my research on you. That ring doesn’t look real to me.”

“You used to be military, then worked as a bodyguard, and now you’re attached to that famous heiress from Cloud City. But an alpha like you must have more than one omega, right?”

“She seems to treat you well—that car and clothes are way above your pay grade, and she’s even funding your education…”

“I know you wouldn’t leave her for me, but you could have other options.”

The omega handed Jiang Yi a business card, her youthful eyes filled with calculation beyond her years: “Just two days a week during school terms. 200K a month. Think of it as a side hustle. What do you say?”

A side hustle? What kind of fucking side hustle was this?!

Jiang Yi was livid! Did they think she was some rentable object?

Keeping her expression stern, Jiang Yi refused to take the card. The omega didn’t seem bothered—she just smiled and tucked it into Jiang Yi’s collar, casually remarking: “Someone like the Jiang heiress will eventually marry an alpha of equal status. If you’re dreaming of being a live-in son-in-law, forget it. Might as well make some money while you’re young.”

“If you perform well, I could even introduce you to my friends.”

Jiang Yi got the distinct impression that if the girl had cash on hand, she’d be slapping bills across her face right now.

The absurdity made Jiang Yi laugh. She retrieved the card, reminding herself not to take this child too seriously. Suppressing her anger, she said: “Thanks for the concern, but Jiang Sixian is already married. No need to worry about her.”

“As for me? Don’t trouble yourself.”

Slowly, deliberately, Jiang Yi tore the embossed business card to pieces, enunciating each word: “I think it’s best we never see each other again.”

“Your… generosity is more than I deserve.”

With that, Jiang Yi tossed the shredded card into a nearby trash can and walked away.

Honestly, it was only her good temper that stopped her from exploding right then. If this had happened in her younger days, she would’ve cursed the girl out on the spot.

The omega left behind clearly didn’t appreciate being dismissed. “Jiang Yi!” she shouted angrily.

Without turning, Jiang Yi just raised a hand in farewell.

God, what was wrong with people these days?

After parting ways, Jiang Yi grew increasingly irritated. She pulled out her phone and texted Jiang Sixian about the whole incident.

Not really expecting Jiang Sixian to show up, Jiang Yi went about her afternoon internship duties like nothing happened, diligently tending to the farm’s geese.

Jiang Sixian arrived at the farm around 3pm. The place raised all sorts of poultry—chickens, ducks, fish, geese. After a morning learning about egg incubation, Jiang Yi and her classmates spent the afternoon feeding the animals.

Not seeing anyone at the entrance, Jiang Sixian called.

The phone connected amidst chaotic squawking and flapping wings. Over the din, Jiang Sixian barely made out Jiang Yi’s exasperated shout: “Hey! Eat properly! Stop pecking me!”

Having just scolded her unruly charges, Jiang Yi quickly brought the phone to her ear: “What’s up, jiejie?”

Hearing her voice, Jiang Sixian’s lips curved: “Didn’t you tell me to come immediately? I’m here. Where are you?”

Jiang Yi sounded shocked: “You actually came? Where are you? Don’t you have meetings this afternoon? You’re skipping?”

Jiang Sixian’s eyes sparkled with amusement: “I’m at reception… Meetings aren’t as important as you. If someone’s trying to steal my alpha, shouldn’t I come stake my claim?”

Jiang Yi was thrilled: “Wait there! I’ll come get you soon!”

After a short wait, Jiang Sixian saw Jiang Yi come running in her work apron. Jiang Sixian stood, arms open for an embrace. Jiang Yi dodged, embarrassed: “I’m all dirty. Let me change first.”

Jiang Sixian took her hand, gazing up at her with starlight in her eyes as she nodded with a smile.

Jiang Yi scratched her cheek sheepishly: “I’ve got a bit left to do, but we can leave now. After I change, let’s head back, okay?”

But Jiang Sixian had other plans. She’d come to mark her territory—how could she leave before accomplishing that?

Squeezing Jiang Yi’s hand, she smiled sweetly: “No rush. Since I’m here, shouldn’t I see your future workplace?”

Jiang Yi hesitated: “Some of the poultry free-range, so it’s pretty messy. I’m afraid you won’t like it.”

Jiang Sixian gave her a look: “I’m going to be the goose farm madame someday. If I don’t get used to it now, when will I?”

This sent Jiang Yi’s heart soaring. She gripped Jiang Sixian’s hand earnestly: “You really want to go?”

Jiang Sixian nodded: “Mhm. I’m already here—might as well take a look.”

Jiang Yi actually wanted to share her work too. This made her even happier: “Wait here then, I’ll get you clean work clothes. Ah… and your hair… need to tie it up…”

As Jiang Yi led her toward the changing room, Jiang Sixian watched her back with tender amusement: “Okay.”

After some preparation, Jiang Yi brought the newly uniformed Jiang Sixian into the farm.

Even in identical work clothes, Jiang Sixian shone like a beacon among the grubby students. Even the few privileged youths paled in comparison.

As they walked, Jiang Sixian’s striking beauty drew many gazes. Approaching Jiang Yi’s assigned geese, they ran into a fish-feeding classmate returning with an empty bucket.

This classmate got along well with Jiang Yi, often borrowing her notes. Spotting them, she greeted Jiang Yi before her eyes stuck on Jiang Sixian. She elbowed Jiang Yi: “Where’d you find this beauty, Yi-jie? Aren’t you going to introduce us?”

Jiang Yi scratched her cheek sheepishly: “Ah, this is my…” Even married, calling someone “my wife” out loud was still embarrassing.

Jiang Sixian, noticing her hesitation, smiled graciously: “I’m Jiang Yi’s wife, Jiang Sixian. Nice to meet you.”

The classmate gaped at the radiant smile before stammering a reply, then turned to Jiang Yi in shock: “Yi-jie, you’re married?”

Jiang Yi’s eyes crinkled with embarrassed delight: “Yeah, well… at this age, you know.”

The classmate immediately showered them with congratulations: “When did this happen? Wishing you two eternal happiness!”

The well-wishes warmed Jiang Yi’s heart: “Early this year, so it’s been a while now. Thanks.”

“Don’t mention it! Show your wife around—let’s grab food sometime!”

Jiang Yi gave an OK sign before leading Jiang Sixian away. Jiang Sixian took her hand, teasing: “‘Wife’?”

Blushing but defiant, Jiang Yi retorted: “Well you are my wife. What else should they call you? ‘Husband’?”

Jiang Sixian pretended to consider this: “Hmm… that could work too. ‘Husband’ doesn’t sound bad.”

Jiang Yi knew she was being toyed with and grumbled: “Whatever, same difference.”

Hand in hand, they approached the goose pens—where Jiang Yi froze upon seeing the would-be patron feeding her geese.

Noticing her reaction, Jiang Sixian followed her gaze to the girl and recognized her as the daughter of a business partner. Her lips curved.

How bold, trying to poach her woman.

Leaning close, Jiang Sixian whispered: “That’s today’s child?”

Jiang Yi nodded silently.

“Ah.” Jiang Sixian immediately knew what to do.

Smiling, she told Jiang Yi: “Then I should prove you’re my alpha.”

Before Jiang Yi could react, Jiang Sixian cupped her face and kissed her deeply—branding her with the intensity of possession.

Dazed by the sudden kiss, Jiang Yi barely registered when the girl turned and saw them.

In the sunlight, the two women embraced, sharing a passionate kiss. The ring on Jiang Sixian’s hand glinted brightly—a matching set with Jiang Yi’s. The girl inhaled sharply.

When they finally parted, Jiang Sixian led Jiang Yi forward with a composed smile, as if she hadn’t just publicly mauled her alpha.

“Ah, Miss Xu. What a surprise,” Jiang Sixian said lightly, her gaze resting on the girl. “Your mother mentioned you were studying veterinary science at Ag University. Fancy running into my beloved here.”

She blinked sweetly: “Do look after her for me.”

Under that smile, the girl’s scalp prickled. Forcing composure, she replied: “Chairwoman Jiang, what an honor. I had no idea Jiang Yi was your… partner. May I ask when you married?”

Jiang Sixian beamed: “Recently. Just a small ceremony with close friends.”

The girl laughed awkwardly: “I see. Congratulations. Though… I may have misunderstood Jiang Yi earlier. I hope you won’t take offense.”

“Of course not. She often causes misunderstandings—it’s quite troublesome.”

After this brief exchange, the girl fled. Jiang Sixian turned to Jiang Yi with an arched brow: “200K a month? Quite generous. Do you feel… undercompensated?”

Jiang Yi’s eyes sparkled: “Never. You treat me incredibly well.”

She paused, squeezing Jiang Sixian’s hand: “But Jiang Sixian, you were so cool just now. Like some ultimate villain.”

Jiang Sixian tilted her head: “Villain?”

Jiang Yi nodded: “Yeah, the kind who crushes innocent girls’ dreams.”

Jiang Sixian laughed: “I’d say I was more the hero saving a poor damsel from capitalist exploitation, no?”

Jiang Yi hummed: “Close enough. But really more like the domineering CEO rescuing their delicate flower. That whole scene was straight out of a soap opera.”

Jiang Sixian considered this before smiling: “But Jiang Yi, aren’t you precisely that delicate flower? Wherever you go, someone tries to pluck you.”

She reached up to cradle Jiang Yi’s face, pinching her cheeks lightly: “Sometimes I really want to lock you up at home so no one else can covet my blossom.”

Jiang Yi sighed: “Hey now, that’s pretty extreme. You know unlawful confinement is illegal, right?”

Jiang Sixian sniffed: “I could make an exception. If you ever try to run, I might consider it.”

Jiang Yi pledged her loyalty: “Relax, I’m not going anywhere. In this lifetime, the only place I want to be is in your heart. Though… you have given me an idea.”

Curious, Jiang Sixian asked: “What idea?”

Leaning close, Jiang Yi whispered: “Tonight… we could play a game.”

Jiang Sixian’s eyes curved with delight: “Oh? So tonight you’ll be my little rose imprisoned on a desert planet?”

Jiang Yi kissed her lightly: “Yes, my queen.”

Every day they could take on new roles, acting out different stories together.

The only constant was Jiang Yi—always her rose, forever and exclusively hers.

She loved Jiang Yi. That would never change.
