SWMSO – Chapter 104

Extra 3 - Jiang Yi Doesn't Lose Her Memory (1)

Jiang Yi and Jiang Sixian quickly arrived at the hospital. After an overnight checkup confirmed neither girl had any serious issues, Ning Wenying took them home.

Since Jiang Yi had temporarily marked Jiang Sixian, she leaned close to whisper in her ear during the ride: “Should we remove the mark?”

If Jiang Qionghua asked about it, Jiang Yi felt her explanation would be full of holes.

But Jiang Sixian clearly had different thoughts. She shook her head: “No need. Temporary marks only last six months. Besides… this is good as it is.”

Previously, she could never smell Jiang Yi’s pheromones. Now, just sharing the same space with Jiang Yi, she could detect the overwhelming scent of cedarwood. Without the temporary mark, Jiang Sixian felt she might have gone into heat the moment she smelled it.

She held Jiang Yi’s hand, desperately wanting to hear Jiang Yi say “I like you” out loud. But with Ning Wenying present, Jiang Sixian restrained her restless heart.

She stared intently at Jiang Yi until the latter grew embarrassed. Jiang Yi scratched her cheek and whispered: “If you’re fine with it, then let’s leave it.”

With Ning Wenying watching, neither dared make any improper moves. After arriving home, Ning Wenying urged them to wash up and rest in their respective rooms, preparing calming tea to help them sleep.

After the night’s ordeal, Jiang Yi was exhausted. Returning to her cottage, she quickly showered, dried her hair, drew the curtains, and sprawled across her bed.

Dawn’s faint light cast a blue haze through the dim room. Despite her fatigue, Jiang Yi lay awake staring at the ceiling, fingers unconsciously tracing her lips as she relived Jiang Sixian’s kiss.

So fragrant, so soft—what a windfall!

Now Jiang Yi understood why ancient emperors would burn beacon towers to amuse their concubines. When such a sweet, delicate beauty throws herself at you, you’d give your life for her!

Somehow, Jiang Yi recalled Jiang Sixian’s confession and giggled while touching her lips. She rolled over, hugging the blanket and wriggling around the bed like an overexcited puppy.

Ahhhhhhh! Jiang Sixian likes her! Jiang Sixian likes her!

Though Jiang Yi knew that according to the storyline, being liked by Jiang Sixian was essentially signing her own death warrant. After tonight’s events, she decided not to overthink it.

Youth was too precious. If she couldn’t be honest, do what she loved, or love who she wanted, what was the point of living?

Things couldn’t get worse anyway—might as well accept fate.

Rolling around gleefully, Jiang Yi suddenly realized: Jiang Sixian confessed yesterday, but she hadn’t actually responded.

She’d admitted it in front of Ning Wenying, but never directly told Jiang Sixian she liked her. Wasn’t that unfair?

Putting herself in Jiang Sixian’s shoes—confessing without getting a clear answer would definitely leave her feeling unsettled.

Jiang Yi didn’t want Jiang Sixian to feel wronged. After some thought, she rolled to the bedside, grabbed her phone, and searched: “How to confess to someone…”

Just as the results loaded, a knock sounded at her door.

Startled, Jiang Yi guiltily stuffed her phone under the pillow. “Who is it?” she called out, turning toward the door.

Jiang Sixian’s voice came through: “It’s me. I brought you some food.”

Jiang Yi scrambled out of bed. “Coming!” She rushed to the door and yanked it open—then froze.

In the dim hallway light, Jiang Sixian stood wearing a thin white lace nightgown, holding a tray. Her long black hair cascaded down, the faint glow accentuating her delicate beauty.

Jiang Yi braced against the doorframe, heart racing like a startled deer. “You… why aren’t you sleeping? What are you doing here?”

Jiang Sixian lifted the tray. “Bringing you food.” She ducked under Jiang Yi’s arm into the bedroom. “Mom said we hadn’t eaten all day and should have something.”

Jiang Yi gaped as Jiang Sixian marched into her room like she owned the place. Setting the tray on the bedside table, Jiang Sixian smiled: “It’s still early, so there’s only yogurt and bread for now.”

Jiang Yi stood dumbstruck, her heartbeat completely out of control.

Jiang Sixian turned and beckoned: “Come here.”

In the dim dawn light, only Jiang Sixian’s eyes shone like stars. After a long pause, Jiang Yi turned on the lights, closed the door, and approached.

She didn’t know why she was so nervous, but her heart refused to calm down. Licking her lips, she said: “Aren’t you tired too? You didn’t have to bring this—just text me and I’d have come over.”

Jiang Sixian’s eyes brimmed with tender amusement: “But Jiang Yi, I wanted to see you.”

She stepped forward and embraced Jiang Yi, resting her head against Jiang Yi’s chest. “We’ve barely been apart, yet I can’t stop thinking about you.”

Looking up with sparkling eyes, she asked: “Is this a side effect of the mark?”

Jiang Yi carefully wrapped her arms around Jiang Sixian’s waist, face burning. “I don’t think so…”

She guided Jiang Sixian’s head to her chest. “Do you think this heart rate is from the mark?”

Jiang Sixian listened to the rapid thumping through Jiang Yi’s thin shirt, then looked up in delight. “Jiang Yi, your heart is beating so fast.”

Jiang Yi mumbled an affirmation.

Hugging Jiang Yi’s waist, Jiang Sixian nestled against her shoulder and asked: “Why?”

Why? Wasn’t it obvious? Flustered, Jiang Yi muttered: “You know why.”

Jiang Sixian gazed deeply at her, eyes smiling: “If you don’t say it clearly, how would I know?”

Jiang Yi suddenly understood—Jiang Sixian was giving her a chance to confess.

“I… it’s because I…” Jiang Yi stammered, feeling like she might combust from embarrassment. Taking a deep breath, she said solemnly: “It’s because I like you. Because I like you, my heart races out of control, like a startled deer.”

Jiang Sixian’s smile deepened. She reached up, pulled Jiang Yi down, and kissed her, murmuring: “Me too, Jiang Yi…”

So much like, so much like, so much like…

So much love, so much love, so much love…

Their pheromones filled the room as if their very genes were confessing.

Stumbling backward, Jiang Yi pulled Jiang Sixian toward the bed and soon found herself pinned beneath her.

Dazed by the kisses, Jiang Yi felt like she was sucking on the sweetest, softest jelly—impossible to get enough.

Then she noticed her body’s reaction.

She froze mid-kiss, then frantically grabbed Jiang Sixian’s wrists. “Wait… wait a second!”

Breaking the kiss, Jiang Yi stared up in shock: “How… how could you…”

Face burning, she gaped at the radiant Jiang Sixian, utterly speechless.

Jiang Sixian’s lips glistened, eyes misty with confusion: “Why not? You’ve already marked me. With this mark, we can do anything, right?”

Kneeling over Jiang Yi, she asked softly: “Don’t you want to?”

Jiang Yi never expected Jiang Sixian to be so bold. Then again, this boldness didn’t surprise her—she remembered Jiang Sixian’s risqué jokes.

This was madness!

Somehow, Jiang Yi recalled descriptions from those books and realized: if this was Jiang Sixian’s nature, then future intimacies wouldn’t be surprising at all!

Jiang Yi was torn. Her body’s reaction clearly wasn’t unwilling, but with her uncertain future, she didn’t want to hurt Jiang Sixian.

After a moment’s thought, she found a compromise.

Hugging Jiang Sixian tightly, she said through her pounding heart: “Of course… of course I’m willing…”

“And I really like you, Jiang Sixian.”

“My feelings aren’t just… just for this sort of thing…”

She stroked Jiang Sixian’s hair: “I think… we should wait until we’re adults. After twenty, you can do whatever you want…”

Blushing, she whispered in Jiang Sixian’s ear: “I’m afraid it’ll hurt you… and… me too…”

Jiang Sixian’s ears turned red. Shivering at Jiang Yi’s warm breath, she hugged tighter and gave a small nod.

Relieved, Jiang Yi rolled them over and sighed: “We have plenty of time—no need to rush this.”

Jiang Sixian appreciated her consideration. Resting on Jiang Yi, she asked softly: “Jiang Yi… what are we now?”

Jiang Yi awkwardly stroked her back: “We already told Auntie Ning we’re dating.”

Jiang Sixian brightened, propping herself up to look down at Jiang Yi: “So now you’re my girlfriend?”

Jiang Yi nodded.

Melting against her, Jiang Sixian nuzzled closer: “But girlfriend, I feel so uncomfortable now…”

Jiang Yi stiffened: “Didn’t they say temporary marks prevent heat? I didn’t make you…”

Jiang Sixian nibbled her earlobe: “You know it’s not that.” Breathing into Jiang Yi’s ear, she murmured: “If we don’t go all the way… is that okay?”

Jiang Yi shuddered, stammering: “S-sure…” If Jiang Sixian was truly uncomfortable, she couldn’t refuse.

Eyes shining, Jiang Sixian asked: “Shall we try?”

Try? Try what? How?

Before Jiang Yi could react, Jiang Sixian pinned her down for another passionate kiss.

Mid-kiss, Jiang Yi suddenly remembered: “The door… Jiang Sixian… the door’s unlocked…”

Jiang Sixian pushed her back down, pouting: “It’s locked. I secured it when I came in—don’t worry.”

Jiang Yi stopped resisting. As Jiang Sixian guided her through increasingly scandalous activities, it dawned on her: Jiang Sixian had planned this.

No wonder she’d have that alpha wrapped around her finger in the future.

Damn, she was just too good at this!
