SWMSO – Chapter 52

Jiang Sixian, standing five steps away from the vehicle, froze when she saw the car suddenly begin violently shaking.

She heard Jiang Yi’s heart-wrenching scream, and an overwhelming panic surged through her. Without hesitation, Jiang Sixian turned and ran as instructed, pulling out her phone to dial 110.

Inside the car, the kidnapper who had just knocked Jiang Yi unconscious with a chop to the neck cursed when he saw Jiang Sixian fleeing: “Fuck! Is that girl a rabbit? Running so fast!”

The kidnappers shoved the door open and poured out of the vehicle like a pack of wolves chasing after Jiang Sixian. The lead female Alpha, wearing a ski mask, shouted at her two underlings: “Stop her! Don’t let her get away!”

If she escaped, this whole operation would be ruined.

Jiang Sixian barely maintained her composure as she connected with emergency services. As soon as the call went through, she hurriedly said: “I’m at Yuncheng Girls’ High School, I’m being kidnapped—”

Before she could finish, the female Alpha caught up. A rear chokehold later, the Alpha injected a neural paralytic into Jiang Sixian’s body.

Jiang Sixian’s limbs went limp as she collapsed into the Alpha’s arms.

With a clatter, her phone and schoolbag hit the ground hard.

The panicked voice of a police officer came through the phone: “Hello… hello…”

The kidnapper raised her foot and stomped viciously on the phone. It shattered instantly, leaving only static crackling through the remains.

Grabbing Jiang Sixian, the kidnapper dragged her away before anyone could notice: “Pack up everything, let’s move!”

They hauled Jiang Sixian into the car, scooped up the scattered schoolbag and broken phone, and sped away.

When they reached the river, the kidnappers threw both girls’ schoolbags and all their belongings except clothes into the water.

Jiang Sixian and Jiang Yi had been kidnapped.

Half an hour later, Sister Xiao Qin, who had been knocked unconscious in a corner, woke up in a public restroom and immediately called the police.

At the same time, Ning Wenying received news of the kidnapping and frantically notified Jiang Qionghua.

Jiang Qionghua, currently out of province, immediately headed for the airport in a panic to return.

An hour later, police investigation and search operations began. Simultaneously, Ning Wenying received a threatening video.

In the video, the two girls were shackled and unconscious, leaning against each other in a jeep.

Two masked kidnappers held knives to the children’s throats, laughing through voice changers: “If you want your daughters back safely, prepare 10 million in cash. Bring it to Lingjiang Dock at midnight for the exchange.”

“And call off the cops—their sirens are as annoying as barking dogs.”

“Otherwise…”

The kidnapper pressed the knife against Jiang Yi’s chin and made a deep slash. Instantly, a bloody mark appeared on Jiang Yi’s pale face.

Ning Wenying’s eyes reddened immediately. She said at once: “Don’t hurt my children! I’ll agree to any conditions, I have as much money as you want, I can guarantee you’ll leave safely after getting paid!”

The kidnapper seemed satisfied: “Good! But I have one more condition!”

Ning Wenying clenched her hands, trying to stay calm: “Go ahead.”

“You’re supposed to attend the Jiang Group shareholders’ meeting today—but you’ll vote the opposite way.”

Ning Wenying instantly understood the motive behind this kidnapping. She quickly steadied herself, placated the kidnappers, agreed to their terms, and began arranging for the money.

As she strategized, Ning Wenying wiped tears from the corners of her eyes and called Jiang Liuyun.

Jiang Liuyun wasn’t surprised by her call. He answered casually: “Hello?”

Ning Wenying’s voice was icy calm as she got straight to the point: “Where is Sixian?”

Jiang Liuyun began his act: “You’re asking me about Sixian? For over a decade, hasn’t Sixian been with you? If you don’t know where she is, how would I?”

Worried for her child, Ning Wenying’s tone turned uncharacteristically sharp: “Jiang Liuyun, I know exactly what you’re scheming. I’ll give you my shares—just release Sixian now.”

“I won’t pursue this matter, and I’ll consider Sixian as never having had you for a father.”

Jiang Liuyun kept up the act: “What are you talking about? Releasing Sixian? I don’t know anything. Ning Wenying, when you say Sixian never had me as a father—I’ve always wondered if I really was her father anyway.”

“You know exactly how Jiang Qionghua treated you back then. Who knows whose child Sixian really is.”

Ning Wenying knew he was shameless, but never imagined he could sink this low. Taking a deep breath, she realized Jiang Liuyun planned to feign ignorance to the end.

Ning Wenying laughed bitterly: “Sixian’s been kidnapped. The kidnappers are forcing me to vote for you at tonight’s shareholders meeting.”

“Jiang Liuyun, this better not be you. Because even if you take back the Jiang family, I’ll make sure you end up in prison.”

Seeing they couldn’t reach an understanding and Jiang Liuyun refused to negotiate, Ning Wenying prepared for the worst.

She took a deep breath and decided to skip the shareholders meeting to focus on finding her daughter first.

But the kidnappers had other plans, constantly threatening Ning Wenying through videos to attend the meeting.

Their frequent messages, though anonymous, soon gave police enough leads to track them.

By 10 PM, police had pinpointed their location and began mobilizing.

Jiang Yi woke to a sharp pain.

Blinking groggily, she found herself handcuffed to a chair.

Surveying her surroundings—a dilapidated warehouse filled with old shipping containers and oil drums—she belatedly realized: she’d been kidnapped.

Fuck! She’d been kidnapped!

Jiang Yi jolted fully awake. Turning her head, she saw Jiang Sixian similarly handcuffed to a chair beside her, head lolling against the backrest. Her heart leapt into her throat.

Shit! Jiang Sixian hadn’t escaped—she’d been kidnapped too.

“Jiang Sixian! Jiang Sixian!” Still assessing the situation, Jiang Yi shuffled her chair closer and nudged Jiang Sixian with her head.

“Wake up, Jiang Sixian.”

For some reason, Jiang Yi thought Jiang Sixian’s pheromones smelled stronger than usual.

“Jiang Sixian, wake up!”

After several nudges, Jiang Sixian stirred groggily.

She looked at Jiang Yi through bleary, tear-filled eyes, utterly vulnerable.

Jiang Yi’s heart skipped several beats. “Jiang Sixian, are you okay?”

Recognizing Jiang Yi, Jiang Sixian’s eyes instantly brightened. She tried standing excitedly, only to nearly topple forward when her restraints stopped her.

Jiang Yi quickly braced her with her own chair, whispering urgently: “Careful!”

Steadying herself, Jiang Sixian met Jiang Yi’s gaze, eyes shimmering: “Jiang Yi…”

Her expression overflowed with fear and worry.

Jiang Yi softened. “Don’t be scared. We’re just kidnapped, it’ll be fine.” Though internally terrified—this being her first kidnapping—Jiang Yi’s mental age gave her enough composure to protect her “little sister.”

Noticing the bloody cut on Jiang Yi’s chin, Jiang Sixian burst into tears: “Jiang Yi… you’re hurt…”

Never having seen such a beautiful girl cry before her, Jiang Yi panicked.

“Don’t cry! Look, we’re both fine, see? It’s okay.”

“But you’re bleeding…” Jiang Sixian sniffled, staring at Jiang Yi’s chin. “Does it hurt?”

Now that Jiang Sixian mentioned it, Jiang Yi noticed the stinging pain.

To comfort her, Jiang Yi shook her head. “Doesn’t hurt.”

As they spoke, a masked kidnapper entered the warehouse.

From his pheromones, Jiang Yi guessed he was a beta.

Seeing both girls awake, the male beta tsked: “Oh, you’re both up.”

Jiang Sixian instantly tensed, face paling.

Seeing her terror made Jiang Yi’s heart race. “Excuse me, mister, can I ask why you kidnapped us?”

The beta sat on a rickety chair nearby, eyeing her: “Hah, typical Alpha—brave enough to chat with us…”

“Simple—someone paid us to do a job.”

Jiang Yi thought: if it’s just money, that’s manageable—both their families were wealthy.

Cautiously, she asked: “Mister, can I ask how much they paid you?”

Bored, the kidnapper humored her: “Not bad for you two. Relax, we won’t hurt you unless we have to. We don’t want blood on our hands. Just sit tight until your families pay up.”

Jiang Yi’s heart sank. “Unless we have to” implied they might kill them after all.

Screw relying on others—they’d have to save themselves.

Thinking fast, Jiang Yi tried bonding: “Oh… okay… Mister, we’re kind of hungry. Could you get us some food?”

Dismissing them as harmless kids, the kidnapper agreed and left to fetch food.

Outside, the female Alpha leader playing cards asked: “Third Brother, what’s up?”

“Those brats woke up. Getting them food.”

The Alpha stood: “Take over for me. I’ll go.”

She grabbed sandwiches and water before entering.

With both girls restrained, the Alpha tore a sandwich in half and shoved it at them, barking: “Eat.”

Jiang Yi knew they’d need strength to escape, so she ate. Jiang Sixian, still shaken, choked several times.

Through the mask, Jiang Yi couldn’t see the Alpha’s expression—but she clearly noticed the Alpha’s disturbing gaze at Jiang Sixian.

Especially when feeding Jiang Sixian water—that disgusting look, like… like…

Fuck! Jiang Sixian was an omega—a beautiful one—and even underage, some Alphas were beasts who’d still lust after her.

This realization nearly drove Jiang Yi mad.

They had to escape fast—before rescuers arrived, Jiang Sixian might get violated.

Panicked, Jiang Yi forced herself to think while eating.

What to do… hands cuffed, legs bound… brute force their only option?

Alpha physiques were strong—unless these were specialized cuffs, regular ones could supposedly be broken.

Jiang Yi… stay calm… stay calm…

Fortunately, after feeding them, the Alpha gave Jiang Sixian one last look before leaving.

Soon, the beta male returned as guard.

Jiang Yi smiled sweetly, calling him “Big Brother” while fishing for information. Simultaneously, she strained to dislocate her thumb and wrench free from the cuffs, ignoring the pain.

So frantic was she that she failed to notice Jiang Sixian’s increasingly potent pheromones.

After what felt like forever, Jiang Yi’s right hand came free, her wrist bloodied.

Freeing one hand made the other easier. As both hands came loose, Jiang Yi mentally thanked heaven she was a high-level Alpha with police academy knowledge, excellent fitness, and strong stress tolerance—otherwise they’d be doomed.

Moving stealthily to Jiang Sixian’s side while the beta played mobile games, Jiang Yi began picking her cuffs.

When Jiang Sixian felt Jiang Yi’s slick, bloodied hands, tears fell instantly. She turned, staring at Jiang Yi in shock.

Jiang Yi shook her head slightly, leaning close to whisper: “Don’t be scared. I’ll get you out.”

Jiang Yi had accepted the worst—she’d die at twenty. But she wasn’t twenty yet, so today wasn’t her day to die.

At least, not here.

But Jiang Sixian was different—Jiang Yi didn’t know her pre-twenty-four storyline, didn’t know if she’d be assaulted during this kidnapping.

Jiang Yi couldn’t bear the thought. Only one thing mattered: getting Jiang Sixian out safely, completely unharmed.

Working methodically, Jiang Yi freed Jiang Sixian’s hands. As the last cuff opened, Jiang Yi shifted to block Jiang Sixian while she untied her legs.

What Jiang Yi didn’t notice was Jiang Sixian’s long-brewing pheromone storm suddenly erupting, flooding the warehouse like a tempest.

Stunned, Jiang Yi looked at Jiang Sixian, who tearfully whispered: “Sorry Jiang Yi… I can’t control it.”

Jiang Sixian’s heat had arrived.

Jiang Yi’s pupils contracted sharply. Just then, the oblivious beta looked up from his game at Jiang Sixian.

Seeing her legs free, he leapt up shouting: “Shit! The kids are escaping!”

As he charged, Jiang Yi unleashed her pent-up strength. An avalanche of Alpha pheromones crashed over the beta, forcing him to his knees in involuntary submission.

In that moment, Jiang Yi grabbed her chair and smashed it over his head with all her might.

The chair shattered—the beta collapsed, blood gushing.

“Run!” Jiang Yi yelled, dragging Jiang Sixian toward the warehouse’s far side.

In that instant, Jiang Yi felt like a fugitive.

The commotion drew the other two kidnappers, who arrived just in time to see Jiang Yi pulling Jiang Sixian away.

The air was thick with high-level Alpha and Omega pheromones—both alluring and nauseating to the female Alpha.

Seeing their bloodied companion, one kidnapper shouted: “Fuck! Third Brother’s down!”

The Alpha leader gave chase: “Get them back or this job’s wasted!”

Sniffing the omega’s lingering scent, her instincts stirred. She thought: she’d make them pay dearly for this.
