WBAI Chapter 58

T/N: Not quite NSFW, but I’ll still post a warning here.

Who could stand being licked like this? Yu Feng’s tongue was warm and soft, moving slowly from the area around Xie An’yu’s eyes to his eyelids, moistening his lashes with deliberate heat.

Xie An’yu’s eyelashes trembled. Yu Feng’s words made his head spin, his warm breath brushing against Xie An’yu’s face—starting from his lips, trailing up to the tip of his nose, then to his lashes—as if squeezing out the last remnants of air between their mingled breaths.

Yu Feng hadn’t taken off his glasses. The frames occasionally bumped against Xie An’yu’s nose bridge, and Xie An’yu’s entire body burned hotter, his face so feverish that even the cool touch of the frames felt icy.

Xie An’yu gripped the hem of Yu Feng’s shirt, his legs shifting slightly.

If there wasn’t any reaction by now, he wouldn’t be a fully developed man.

Xie An’yu’s breathing grew heavier. Eyes closed, he kissed Yu Feng’s chin, perhaps out of shyness, turning slightly and instinctively shrinking back as if to hide it from Yu Feng.

The heat of Xie An’yu’s breath fogged up Yu Feng’s glasses, blurring his vision. He paused for a few seconds, his lips resting on the corner of Xie An’yu’s eye.

He thought he could control the pace, letting Xie An’yu gradually adjust to the shift in their relationship. If Xie An’yu’s feelings were just a hormonal impulse, a fleeting youthful infatuation, then as long as he kept things measured, there would still be room to retreat. Once Xie An’yu came to his senses, everything could return to how it was before—no regrets for Xie An’yu, no utter disappointment for himself.

But he wasn’t that composed. He’d even wondered if Xie An’yu might wake up the next morning and change his mind, reassessing reality and saying, Sorry, I was impulsive yesterday. Let’s just go back to how we were.

He knew the odds of that happening were close to zero, yet he couldn’t help but imagine it, bracing for the worst-case scenario.

But in reality, he couldn’t control the pace at all.

Yu Feng took off his glasses and set them aside. Xie An’yu was still kissing his chin, mimicking him by flicking out his tongue, tracing the line of Yu Feng’s jaw.

Yu Feng’s hand slid around to Xie An’yu’s lower back, pressing him closer until their bodies met. Xie An’yu shuddered at the contact.

Yu Feng’s fingers rested on Xie An’yu’s belt. “Uncomfortable?”

Xie An’yu lowered his head, his body unconsciously pressing closer to Yu Feng’s. He nodded, his hair lightly brushing Yu Feng’s chin.

“Want me to take care of it?”

Xie An’yu didn’t answer. Instead, he lifted his head and bit Yu Feng’s Adam’s apple, his teeth gently grazing the sensitive spot.

He didn’t need to answer—his actions said everything.

Xie An’yu lay curled on his side on the bed, taking a long time to recover.

“I’ll get you a clean pair of pants from next door,” Yu Feng said, sitting up. Xie An’yu grabbed his wrist.

“…What about you?” Xie An’yu asked in a hoarse voice.

Yu Feng knew what he was asking. “I’ll take care of it in the bathroom.”

Just as he was about to throw off the blaket, Xie An’yu suddenly pulled his arm, yanking him back into bed. Xie An’yu’s strength was nothing to scoff at—someone who fought so fiercely couldn’t possibly lack power in his grip.

Yu Feng’s wrist ached from the force. He chuckled. “You’ve got quite the grip.”

“I’ll go get your pants,” Yu Feng said.

“Let’s get them later.”

“Mm?”

Before Yu Feng could react, Xie An’yu’s hand reached over.

The room fell into silence. Yu Feng’s fingers rested on Xie An’yu’s firm abdomen, his breathing still uneven: “Those nightly runs weren’t for nothing.”

“Mm?” Xie An’yu’s voice carried confusion.

“Great physique.”

More than just great—it was perfect.

Xie An’yu appeared quite lean in clothes, the epitome of a standard, flawless youthful build. But the flesh beneath was taut, his body solid and well-proportioned.

Yu Feng sat up and grabbed tissues from the nightstand, pulling out a few to wipe Xie An’yu’s hands. “Go wash up later.”

Xie An’yu’s mind was blank. In the face of primal instincts, reason fled, and only after calming down would all those complicated emotions rush in at once. He couldn’t believe Yu Feng had just done that for him—and he’d reciprocated in kind.

Yu Feng felt around for his glasses on the nightstand, put them on, and threw off the blanket to get out of bed.

“I’m turning the light on,” Yu Feng said.

Xie An’yu immediately buried his head under the blanket.

Yu Feng switched on a bedside lamp and rummaged through his suitcase for a clean pair of pants. He went into the bathroom to wash his hands, squeezing soap onto his palms and rubbing them slowly. Staring at his reflection in the mirror, he shamelessly savored the memory of Xie An’yu’s body.

After changing, Yu Feng stepped out of the bathroom to find Xie An’yu still cocooned in the blanket like a silkworm cocoon. He took Xie An’yu’s room key from the nightstand and went next door to fetch his pants.

When Yu Feng returned, Xie An’yu was in the exact same position. Yu Feng wondered if he’d fallen asleep wrapped in the blanket like that.

Yu Feng sat on the edge of the bed. “Got your pants.”

Xie An’yu slowly peeled back the blanket, revealing his head but hesitating to emerge fully.

Why he didn’t want to get up? Because his pants were a mess, and the very person responsible was sitting right in front of him.

“Want to change in the bathroom or here?” Yu Feng glanced down at the blanket. “Need me to turn off the light?”

“…I’ll go to the bathroom,” Xie An’yu said, struggling to get up. He grabbed the pants from Yu Feng’s hand, using them to cover his lower body, and hurried to the bathroom.

Xie An’yu’s summer wardrobe mostly consisted of loose athletic shorts. Lying on the bed, Yu Feng watched him walk back stiffly on those long legs.

Now that he had the title of ‘boyfriend’, Yu Feng could openly admire Xie An’yu’s legs without restraint.

Xie An’yu paused by the TV, standing there for a moment. Yu Feng stayed quiet, leaning against the headboard, waiting to see whether Xie An’yu would choose to stay or return to his own room.

Xie An’yu chose the former. Not only was his expression tense, but his whole body was rigid as he lifted the blanket like a robot.

Lying stiffly on his back, Xie An’yu heard Yu Feng sigh before shifting closer, turning onto his side to face him. “Still can’t relax?”

Xie An’yu turned his head and looked at him.

“So you were possessed earlier?” Yu Feng hooked a finger under his chin. “You were so bold—nothing like now.”

Xie An’yu’s lips parted slightly.

“You’re my boyfriend now. This kind of thing is normal between us.” Yu Feng leaned in to kiss the tip of his nose. “Get used to it soon.”

Xie An’yu must have been exhausted from all the tossing and turning. He closed his eyes, and his breathing soon slowed as he drifted off. Yu Feng, however, couldn’t sleep. He stared at Xie An’yu’s face, lightly tracing his fingers over it.

Youth really was a blessing—his skin was firm and smooth.

Xie An’yu was sound asleep, so Yu Feng wasn’t worried about waking him. His fingertips trailed slowly down the bridge of Xie An’yu’s nose to his lips, tracing the shape of them.

How could he possibly sleep like this?

And how could just this ever be enough?

Yu Feng lifted the blanket and quietly slipped out of bed, heading to the bathroom for a while. Maybe he’d really been holding back too long—his temples throbbed with tension.

After finishing, Yu Feng didn’t return to bed. Instead, he opened the door and stepped outside, intending to get some air and smoke for a bit.

To his surprise, Zhou Yi was also outside. He was sitting on the swing chair at the guesthouse entrance, his arms stretched out along the backrest, head tilted up as he smoked and gazed at the sky.

He was probably deep in thought, so absorbed that he didn’t even notice Yu Feng approaching. Yu Feng nudged his foot, and Zhou Yi turned to look at him, lowering his arms from the backrest.

“What are you doing out here?” Zhou Yi glanced toward the window. “At this critical juncture, how can you just calmly walk out?”

“I’m only pretending to be calm,” Yu Feng said, pulling a cigarette from the pack. “Why else do you think I came out?”

Zhou Yi chuckled. “Couldn’t sleep, huh?”

Yu Feng hummed in agreement and nudged his calf. “Move over. Make some room for me.”

Zhou Yi scooted aside. “There’s barely any space as it is, and you still want to squeeze in.”

The swing was made of metal, a two-seater. The two of them sitting there looked like something out of an idol drama—just not quite the right image for it.

“What are you doing out here?” Yu Feng asked, placing the cigarette between his lips and lighting it.

“To get some air,” Zhou Yi exhaled a cloud of smoke.

It was already past one in the morning. Coming out for air at this hour, smoking…

Yu Feng glanced at him. “What, something on your mind?”

Zhou Yi took a drag and didn’t answer.

“Spit it out. Keeping it bottled up doesn’t suit you.”

Zhou Yi couldn’t help but laugh. “Shi Wuyang kissed me on the cheek today. I’ve been thinking about it.”

“You asked him to, didn’t you?”

“Damn it…” Zhou Yi cursed, turning to glare at him. “How’d you know?”

“If you hadn’t brought it up, he probably wouldn’t have done something like that. That kind of thing—” Yu Feng paused. “Most likely, only you would suggest it.”

“And you’re losing sleep over this?” Yu Feng didn’t quite understand. Given Zhou Yi’s personality, he should’ve forgotten about it within half an hour. How could he still be brooding over it, sitting out here smoking and contemplating life?

“Actually, it’s not the kiss itself I’ve been thinking about…” Zhou Yi stared into the distance. “I just keep wondering—if he’s bold enough to kiss me, why isn’t he bold enough to tell me the truth?”

Yu Feng was taken aback and turned to look at him. “What do you mean?”

“If I answer that, you’ll say I’m being conceited.”

Yu Feng’s mind worked quickly. “He… has feelings for you?”

Zhou Yi stayed silent.

Yu Feng wasn’t shocked. Thinking back carefully, he had always sensed something familiar about Shi Wuyang. He hadn’t noticed anything before, but now that Zhou Yi mentioned it, everything suddenly clicked. He remembered the way Shi Wuyang looked at Zhou Yi, the casual tone he used when speaking to him…

There was an eighty to ninety percent chance Zhou Yi wasn’t just being narcissistic.

Yu Feng wasn’t surprised that Shi Wuyang had feelings for Zhou Yi. What surprised him was that Zhou Yi—a straight guy who usually just went around grinning like an idiot—could actually tell someone had a crush on him, and was even playing dumb about it.

“You knew, and yet you still got so close to him? Shared a room, let him kiss you—what were you thinking?”

“I was waiting for him to bring it up,” Zhou Yi said.

“He’s sneaky,” Zhou Yi added, glancing at Yu Feng. “I think he actually enjoys the way things are between us right now.”

“I don’t think you’re much better,” Yu Feng retorted, standing up to tap his cigarette ash into the trash bin. He shot Zhou Yi a look. “You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you? Getting so close to him, toying with a gay guy’s feelings?”

Zhou Yi sighed. “No, I genuinely like spending time with him.”

“So you’re bent now?” Yu Feng raised an eyebrow.

“I don’t know.”

“Then just ask him. Once you do, you’ll know everything—how he feels, how you feel.”

“I can’t,” Zhou Yi said bluntly. “If it were that easy to ask, would you and Xiao Xie have taken this long to get together?”

Zhou Yi seemed to be doing the same thing Yu Feng had done—leaving the initiative in the other person’s hands.

“Whatever, let it happen naturally,” Zhou Yi said, standing up and stubbing out his cigarette before tossing it into the trash. “As long as I’m happy and he’s happy, nothing else matters.”

“You sure he’s happy?”

Zhou Yi smiled. “Like I said, he’s sneaky. Not the type to be overly sentimental. He’ll say something when he’s ready.”

“And yet here you are, sitting around pretending to be deep.”

“Hey, that kiss threw me off. Who knew he’d have the guts to do it but not say anything?”

Yu Feng was amused.

Zhou Yi left first, leaving Yu Feng alone outside to smoke. Sometimes, Yu Feng had to admire Zhou Yi—his shamelessness made him invincible wherever he went. He didn’t overthink things, didn’t pressure himself, and didn’t pressure others either.

Yu Feng stayed outside for a long time. Even after returning to his room, he barely slept. He spent the whole night processing the fact that Xie An’yu was now his boyfriend.

No—

The fact that Xie An’yu liked him back.

Yu Feng didn’t sleep a wink all night. By dawn, he was already up and washing his face. When he looked in the mirror, he noticed a faint stubble shadowing his jaw. He brushed his teeth, washed his face, and shaved clean, then spotted the pants Xie An’yu had left on the stool the night before—underwear still rolled up inside.

There was laundry detergent in the bathroom. Yu Feng picked up Xie An’yu’s pants, placed them in the sink, turned on the faucet to wet them, and squeezed some detergent onto the fabric.

Xie An’yu stirred in bed, his eyelids fluttering open as he glanced toward the bathroom. The bathroom door was opened from the inside, and Yu Feng stepped out, holding the freshly washed pants.

The moment Xie An’yu caught sight of his own underwear, he nearly closed his eyes and died right there in bed.

Yu Feng glanced over. “Awake?” He hung the pants on the clothesline by the window, then walked over and sat on the edge of the bed.

Xie An’yu checked the clock on the wall—it was only 5:30 a.m. Yu Feng looked fresh and clean, the faint scent of shower gel lingering around him. Clearly, he’d already washed up, maybe even taken a shower.

“You… woke up this early?”

“I didn’t sleep.”

Xie An’yu was a little surprised. “…Huh?”

“I’m so happy I can’t sleep,” Yu Feng admitted. He lowered his head and leaned close to Xie An’yu’s face. “See? This is how hopeless I am.”

The scent of aftershave lingered around Yu Feng’s chin. Unable to resist, Xie An’yu pressed his lips against it in a gentle kiss.
