TLAIALS Chapter 92

—At your side, you by my side.

The gloves were excellent quality.

The master was very enthusiastic.

It was just this one time, how could it be like this?

The cruise ship suite was incredibly spacious, a two-storey style apartment with an outdoor pool on the second-floor balcony.

In the pool, the master, with a satisfied look on his face, was soaking in the sun with his back to him.

His excessively fair skin was dazzling against the azure pool wall, and faint star marks could be seen on his shoulders and neck, which were exposed above the water.

Years of fitness have kept the lines on his body perfectly defined, without the slightest hint of exaggerated muscle. Perhaps this man is Chu Yi Qiao, whose lines exude a uniquely elegant allure. Even his back alone reveals the allure of this mature Omega.

The undulating scene just now flashed through his mind.

He suddenly pushed his sunglasses back down on his nose.

As if sensing the intense gaze behind him, Chu Yi Qiao tilted his head slightly and saw Luo Qing Ye still lounging on the poolside lounge chair, with no intention of getting down. He wore sunglasses, his arms folded, looking remarkably cool.

He seemed to sense Luo Qing Ye was deliberately keeping his distance, maintaining his composure, or perhaps he was being sullen.

It should be a sullen, dissatisfied expression.

“Butler Luo?” he called out, his head resting on his arm on the shore.

“Butler Luo is taking a noon break.”

Chu Yi Qiao uttered an “ah”, his voice rising with a smile: “Butler Luo’s service attitude isn’t good. Do I need to get someone else to serve me?”

“Butler Luo is very good. It’s the master who’s cruel.” Luo Qing Ye maintained his aloof, arms folded. His sunglasses made it hard to see his expression, but his tone told him he was genuinely upset.

Chu Yi Qiao probably understood why Luo Qing Ye was angry about the one-time deal, which did hurt the Alpha’s pride a bit, especially when he abruptly stopped just as Luo Qing Ye was about to continue.

He had been genuinely just teasing, and hadn’t expected Luo Qing Ye to actually stop, thinking he really didn’t want to.

It seemed like he needed to find a way to coax him.

He curled his lips in a smile, turned, dove into the water, and swam towards Luo Qing Ye.

The sunglasses were only there to hide his gaze, so Luo Qing Ye could clearly see Chu Yi Qiao’s every move. The moment he saw Chu Yi Qiao dive into the water and swim toward him, the water seemed to become especially gentle, circling Chu Yi Qiao.

The warm sunlight fell on the water, shimmering, and Chu Yi Qiao was like a mermaid, the water trailing behind him like a wisp.

Just as Chu Yi Qiao reached the shore and emerged from the water, his upper body drenched with water droplets, his wet appearance caught the affectionate gaze of the person standing there.

Suddenly, he felt that these sunglasses only served to maintain his dignity, obscuring his greedy gaze and making it seem less shameful.

Because he could never resist all the temptations Chu Yi Qiao offered him.

Even when Chu Yi Qiao said no just now, even if he wanted to, he stopped.

Luo Qing Ye’s lounge chair was right on the shore, within arm’s reach. Chu Yi Qiao swam to the shore, and the moment he emerged from the water, he reached out and grasped his ankle.

After being soaked in water for a while, his hands felt damp and cool, and Luo Qing Ye sat up abruptly.

It wasn’t the cold, but rather a sound—

“Ge Ge.” Chu Yi Qiao called out with a smile.

Luo Qing Ye raised his hand to remove his sunglasses, lowering his eyes to meet the playful smile in Chu Yi Qiao’s. His Adam’s apple rolled: “Say it again.”

Perhaps this is what Alphas call satisfaction.

No need to call him daddy, calling him Ge Ge is enough to make him feel refreshed.

Chu Yi Qiao suppressed a smile as he watched the expression on Luo Qing Ye’s face. That eager anticipation was like waiting for Mom and Dad to take down a lollipop from a high place, unwrap it, and give it to him.

So what is this called in education?

It’s called “delayed gratification.”

And in marriage, appropriately delayed gratification can elevate expectations between partners, no matter what aspect of the relationship.

“Ge Ge.” he said with a smile.

“Splash!”, water splashed everywhere.

Luo Qing Ye decided to stop restraining himself and devour the Omega who had tortured him in the outdoor pool!

“Master, begging for mercy is useless.”

“Okay, Butler Luo, enjoy it all.”

The dazzling sunlight gradually slid from the east to the west, like a soft, flowing ribbon draping over the clouds. Finally, the afterglow stained it with a captivating purple-pink, reflecting beautifully and gently on the sea surface. Light and shadows swept across the pristine white hull of the “White Moonlight”, creating an incredibly romantic atmosphere.

There was only the crisp sound of clinking glasses.

“Happy Wednesday.”

On the deck, a romantically decorated table, roses, and candlelight was set up, and the two of them were enjoying dinner.

After Luo Qing Ye clinked glasses with Chu Yi Qiao, he diligently began peeling shrimp for someone. “There really aren’t many Alpha men like me.”

“Zuo Gu also peeled shrimp for me.”

Luo Qing Ye looked up dimly. “I’m talking about a man. He’s still just a boy.”

“You were also a boy when I met you.” Chu Yi Qiao propped his chin up, half-smiling: “So, are you considered the good man I cultivated?”

“50% ba.”

“50%?”

Luo Qing Ye lowered his head to peel shrimp. As he did so, he replied: “En, 50% of what makes me a man is because of you. The other 50% is because I want to become a good man for you.” If he hadn’t met Chu Yi Qiao, there might have been a 50% chance he’d have compromised at Caesar’s Palace, and another 50% chance he’d have fallen with it, ultimately becoming someone like Jiang Mian Huai and Bai Chuan.

So, meeting Chu Yi Qiao was the luckiest thing that ever happened to him. All the hardships he’d endured were rewarded with such a wonderful Chu Yi Qiao, and looking back now, all that suffering really didn’t seem like hardship.

He was even incredibly grateful.

Now he had a happy family and a successful career. He couldn’t imagine anything happier in the world.

Chu Yi Qiao smiled. He stared at Luo Qing Ye, who was peeling shrimp for him. A ripple of light crossed his eyes, as if a thought crossed his mind. He called softly: “Mr Luo.”

“En?” Luo Qing Ye peeled the last shrimp and placed it on the plate.

“I’m 10 years older than you. Have you ever considered that I might leave before you?”

Luo Qing Ye stopped peeling the shrimp abruptly. He slowly raised his eyes and silently looked at Chu Yi Qiao, who had asked this question. His inky eyes made it impossible to tell what he was thinking.

Chu Yi Qiao seemed to sense the seriousness of the topic: “Um, I—”

Luo Qing Ye placed the shrimp on the plate in front of him and placed the entire plate in front of Chu Yi Qiao. He then wiped his hands with an alcohol wipe and smiled at Chu Yi Qiao.

“Don’t worry, Mr Chu. I’ll come find you. I’ll never leave you alone.”

He felt like he’d arrived too late in Chu Yi Qiao’s life.

It wasn’t until he was 18 that he met Chu Yi Qiao, who was 28 at the time. In other words, there was no trace of him in Chu Yi Qiao’s life for the first 28 years. And yet, some scum surnamed He dared to try to harm Chu Yi Qiao. He couldn’t imagine what would have happened if he’d shown up any later. He even wondered if everything would have been better if he’d met Chu Yi Qiao earlier.

But it was hard to say, it was all clearly destined.

Although he arrived late, he vowed never to leave Chu Yi Qiao.

Even in the evening, the sound of the waves was louder than at noon, gently lapping against the boat, somewhat drowning out Luo Qing Ye’s voice, but it couldn’t mask the weight of his words. It was like a small hammer hitting his heart—not heavy, but painful.

Chu Yi Qiao stared at Luo Qing Ye in amazement, then smiled at him, raising his hand to hook his nose.

“Silly.” His voice was doting.

The afterglow was completely swallowed by the night, the gradually deepening sky embodying an enchanting deep blue, even glimmering stars visible.

“Didn’t see any meteors?”

On the deck, the two were using telescopes.

Chu Yi Qiao put on his glasses and looked at the starry sky through the telescope. It was indeed more beautiful than what one sees with the naked eye, but it wasn’t as starry as in a photo, let alone a meteor streaking across the sky.

He wasn’t a geek and had never used a telescope, so he didn’t quite understand Luo Qing Ye’s obsession with photographing a meteor. However, he respected his Alpha’s hobby.

Play along.

Luo Qing Ye hugged him from behind, one hand on his waist and the other on the telescope, pressing against his cheek: “Meteors don’t fly that fast, so be patient. Do you see the stars? They’re beautiful tonight.”

Perhaps it was Luo Qing Ye’s voice that was too gentle, its magnetic quality numbing his ears. Chu Yi Qiao felt a tickle in his ears for a moment, and he turned his face away.

The low voice made his waist weaken.

They had just done it at noon.

Luo Qing Ye noticed Chu Yi Qiao’s evasive movement: “What’s wrong?”

“……I didn’t see any stars.” Chu Yi Qiao feigned indifference, trying to cover up his earlier antics. They’d just finished their noontime escapades, and if they continued to do it again tonight, he might not be able to go to work tomorrow.

“En?” Luo Qing Ye turned his head to look at Chu Yi Qiao and noticed something was amiss with his Lao Po: “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

The husky, sexy “En” in the Alpha’s voice made Chu Yi Qiao feel even more uneasy.

The back of his neck felt faintly warm, accompanied by an unbearable heat.

He hadn’t felt this way in a long time.

A cherry brandy pheromone gradually emanated from his body, like a freshly opened bottle of premium red wine. The rich aroma was more mellow than any other red wine, and the exquisite sweetness of intoxication was a deep, piercing temptation.

His breathing began to quicken, and he instinctively grasped Luo Qing Ye’s arm.

The lights on the deck were bright, and Luo Qing Ye could clearly see Chu Yi Qiao’s current expression. His eyes were moist beneath his glasses, and the overpowering Omega pheromone was undoubtedly stimulating to him.

Perhaps it was the pheromone that gradually stained his slender, white neck, and the hand holding his arm trembled.

Chu Yi Qiao was in heat.

“I……” Chu Yi Qiao stared at Luo Qing Ye in astonishment, a hint of annoyance in his eyes. “What should I do?”

He hadn’t expected to suddenly go into heat at this moment, but he also realized that he hadn’t been in heat for a long time. This was mainly because he and Luo Qing Ye were a highly compatible AO couple. Even when they weren’t in heat, every moment they had was intense and unreserved.

But if they were in heat, it would only be more intense than usual.

“It’s okay, I’ll make arrangements for the children.” Luo Qing Ye said soothingly, kissing the side of his face. He pulled him into a tight embrace from behind. “I’ll take care of everything. Don’t worry.”

As if sensing Chu Yi Qiao’s nervousness, he bent down and bit the gland on the back of his neck, using his Alpha pheromone to soothe his anxiety.

But it was only a relief.

Their compatibility was too high, and getting through heat wasn’t easy. And it had been eight years since Chu Yi Qiao last went into heat. He didn’t know if Chu Yi Qiao could still endure a long heat cycle.

The pheromones grew stronger, the cherry brandy and oolong osmanthus honey blending seamlessly.

Chu Yi Qiao couldn’t hold back any longer, turning to kiss Luo Qing Ye.

Just then, a few shooting stars streaked across the enchanting deep blue sky. The telescope captured the moment, and Luo Qing Ye also caught it. He cupped Chu Yi Qiao’s face, closed his eyes, and let the kiss sink in.

Chu Yi Qiao might have thought his wish to see shooting stars was childish, but he simply held onto the thought and made a wish.

He had only two wishes:

—At your side, you by my side[mfn]the original text in Chinese is 在你身边,你在身边。which looks poetic cos it uses the same 4 words in each half but has a different meaning.[/mfn].

He wasn’t greedy at all.
