TSINW3 Chapter 35

“This miserable online game boss” -- Sleep in the guest room -- 7/10

Chapter 035: “Sleep in the guest room” (07/10)

“You can eat.” Wei Xiu didn’t have much of an appetite now.

Xie Chenyang put down the spoon and licked his lips. “What’s wrong? Was something bad mentioned on the phone?”

He only heard Wei Xiu responding briefly and couldn’t hear what was said on the other end.

Wei Xiu: “You finish eating first……”

Xie Chenyang: “I’m full.”

When Wei Xiu met his eyes, he repeated what Secretary Lin had just said. Xie Chenyang’s face darkened, and he took out his cell phone.

“This photo–it was taken inside the hospital.” Wei Xiu looked at him with furtive eyes. Let’s just say it’s not appropriate to do that kind of thing while outside.

Xie Chenyang frowned. “Your company has been surrounded by the media?”

Wei Xiu nodded. “Ah-Yao, in regard to our relationship……”

Xie Chenyang got up. “Let’s go. Let’s go to your company and leave everything to me.”

It wasn’t until they were sitting in the car that Wei Xiu realized he was serious.

From his serious look, he was afraid that Xie Chenyang would be bombarded by the media without knowing anything, so he quickly but clearly explained the situation to him.

By the time they arrived at the company’s lobby, it was almost dark. Many from the media were staking out the building. There were so many cameras outside that the employees who were supposed to be off work were still lingering inside the building.

Since they were concerned about the company, they were naturally interested in Wei Xiu as the president. Therefore, when Xie Chenyang drove the president’s car over, they all stood up and stared with burning eyes as the car got closer and closer.

Xie Chenyang got out from the driver’s seat and closed the door with his backhand, glaring at those who came over to make a preemptive strike. “I hope you guys can be quiet now. I promise that Wei Xu and I will answer each one of you who wants to ask a question… Until then, don’t make a single peep to piss me off.”

Reporters: “…… ” What’s with this act?

Wei Xiu followed him out of the car. The security guards who noticed them rushed over. Xie Chenyang handed the car keys to one of them and snapped his fingers at the reporters. “Alright then. All of you, come in with us and consider carefully all the questions in your heads. Don’t waste our time by asking repetitive questions.”

Secretary Lin arrived on the scene and quickly led them into an empty room after realizing what they wanted to do. Xie Chenyang and Wei Xiu stationed themselves on the stage.

The reporters and paparazzi were seated below the stage with a dazed look. Why did……it have the feeling of a press release?

Xie Chenyang waved at Secretary Lin. Knowing his relationship with Wei Xiu, Secretary Lin stepped forward without hesitation. Xie Chenyang whispered, “Find a good angle and go live.”

Wei Xiu just stood aside without refuting.

Secretary Lin nodded slightly. “Okay.”

Xie Chenyang saw the secretary who had gone to the corner and gestured, impatiently sighing. “Then let’s go by seat. One person, one question. The first in line.” He pointed to the first reporter on the left in the front row below.

“May I ask, Mr. Xie Yunyao, what made you willing to be with Mr. Wei, who is connected to your parents’ death?”

Many reporters were turning on their cameras.

Xie Chenyang sneered, “Are you my parents?”

Reporter: “Of course not, I–”

“Since you’re not, what’s it to you who I’m with?” Xie Chenyang sarcastically glanced at him. “Besides, who says that my parents’ death is related to Wei Xiu? Don’t you know it’s against the law for reporters to spread false news?”

Reporter: “Your parents died while at his company……”

“Are you saying that wherever someone dies, it has something to do with the person in charge of that place?”

“Please don’t misinterpret my meaning and answer my question directly.”

Xie Chenyang raised his chin. “You call this a question? You’re spreading rumors. Next.”

The second reporter gulped. “May I ask, Mr. Xie Yunyao, what is your relationship with President Wei Xiu?”

“Are you blind? Don’t say you guys haven’t seen the circulating photos–they’re all of us kissing and you’re asking me what our relationship is?” Xie Chenyang said impatiently. “Of course we are lovers, next.”

“Mr. Xie Yunyao, the reason why your parents chose to cause trouble is because they reportedly wanted to save you who was trapped inside their game. This is what they personally admitted at the time, and that’s why they chose to make a scene on the upper floors of this company……”

“Are you stupid?”

The reporters burst into flames all of a sudden. How could they expect that Xie Chenyang would directly insult someone on the spot?

Xie Chenyang laughed nonchalantly. “Trapped inside a game? Do you guys think this is a novel? Why don’t you guys run inside the game and show me? You guys believe such unfounded statements? What’s the matter? You’re not convinced? Why don’t you dare to let others say that you’re stupid?”

With obvious anger, the reporter admonished, “Mr. Xie, this news came straight from your parents…….”

“Isn’t it clear as day then? Obviously someone was deliberately baiting my parents.” Xie Chenyang snorted coldly. “My parents were honest people. If someone hadn’t lied to them about me being trapped in the game, then there’s no way they could’ve thought of such an outlandish thing.”

The reporters looked at each other in disbelief.

“Do you guys really believe something like a person being trapped in a game? I had a car accident and fell into a coma. I wasn’t playing a game or doing any of that, so may I ask, how did I run into this game? An out-of-body journey? Scoff.”

Xie Chenyang’s scoffing made the reporters embarrassed. To be honest, up until now, even though they wanted to get first-hand information with this as their motive, none of them had taken it seriously. It was just a gimmick they wanted to whip up.

The live broadcast was flooded with people. Since Xie Chenyang and Wei Xiu were on the hot search, and now there was a live stream with them as the headline, a lot of people had come to join in on the fun. Hearing this, the bullet comments were very lively.

<I think he’s right. It’s strange to think that someone would believe in something like being trapped in a game.>

<Think about it, you guys. Who went and told the Xie family’s parents about such a thing?>

<If it were me, I’d strike! A desperate parent might actually believe it!>

<This is a good one, you guys.>

<Suddenly, I feel there’s some kind of conspiracy.>

A relatively calm reporter spoke up, “Mr. Xie, do you mean that you think someone deliberately deceived your parents and instructed them to cause trouble at the game company?”

“I’m just skeptical about all this. My parents have never touched a game before, and with me being in a coma not knowing when I’ll wake up, why would they think I’m trapped inside one, and then go to this one particular game company to cause trouble?”

Xie Chenyang looked around. “To say that there is no one pushing behind this, do you guys believe it?”

Reporters: Of course they don’t believe it. It wasn’t like no one had actually thought of this.

“I’ve always speculated in this direction before, Mr. Xie. After your parents passed away, the one who organized the aftermath for them was a Mr. Ding He, who acted under the banner of being a close friend of yours,” a petite woman stood up and excitedly said. “Afterwards, he often went to the hospital to see you, and it was also him who paid for your subsequent medical bills. But I’ve carefully investigated–before this, the two of you didn’t seem to know each other, or did you meet in a more secretive manner? Is he an online friend, or did you know each other at one time?”

Xie Chenyang looked straight at her. “This person you’re talking about, I don’t know.”

The bullet screen in the live stream exploded.

<Don’t know???>

<Why would he call himself his friend and pay for his parents’ funeral and medical bills if he doesn’t know him?>

<Could it be that Ding He has a crush on Xie Yunyao?>

<I don’t like how this looks. ……>

“I don’t know what position you guys are using to be concerned about my relationships, and in what capacity you’re commenting on whether I’m filial or not.” Xie Chenyang held Wei Xiu’s hand. “But it’s not up to you guys to make judgments about my relationship or my family matters.”

After saying that, he tugged on Wei Xiu’s hand and left.

“Mr. Xie–”

“Mr. Wei–”

The reporters stood up one after another. They still had a lot of questions left to ask!

The security guards waiting on the sidelines hurriedly came out to maintain order.

Secretary Lin also went up to the stage and said into the microphone, “As you can see, our Mr. Wei is just in an ordinary relationship with Mr. Xie. The police have also qualified the case of Mr. Xie’s parents as an accident, and they are just ordinary people. Please don’t let the malicious beasts in your heart out… People’s words are dangerous… Thank you all.”

Upon leaving the company, the sky was already fully dark.

After returning to the villa, Wei Xiu cleared the dining table and washed the dishes. When he came out, he immediately met Xie Chenyang who was standing at the doorway.

Xie Chenyang reached out and scooped him into his arms, not saying anything, and lowered his head to kiss him.

Wei Xiu’s eyelashes trembled slightly as he closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around his waist.

Xie Chenyang’s kiss was not as gentle as before; it was hot and eager, then gradually became gentle and lingering in the response of Wei Xiu.

After the kiss, he gently caressed Wei Xiu’s face, his voice hoarse: “Tonight……”

Wei Xiu’s gaze gradually cleared. “You sleep in the guest room.”

Xie Chenyang lowered his head against his forehead. “Ah-Xiu……”

Wei Xiu was firm and whispered, “Sleep in the guest room.”

Xie Chenyang reluctantly said, “Alright…”

They each went back to their rooms.

Xie Chenyang pulled out his cell phone and played two games, then suddenly asked, [Is he asleep?]

You Huang: “Sleeping.”

[If I want the golden finger, will you give it to me?]

You Huang had a bit of a headache: “What do you want to do?”

[I want to throw Ding He’s mind, or soul, back into the game.]

You Huang hesitated.

[Can’t I? Mom.]

“Shut up! Who’s your mom? I’m a male!”

[A male mom?]

“Is this your attitude of begging?”

Xie Chenyang thought for a moment and lowered his voice: [Good Ah-Huang, I will not disappoint you. You are very important and will always be with me, ah.]

You Huang admitted to having been coaxed. “Remember the spiritual power in the ABO world? You can actually use some psychic power now. Your spirit power–I’ll teach you how to use it.”

[Good!]

Xie Chenyang snuck into Wei Xiu’s room.  Staring at his sleeping form, he couldn’t help but quietly come over and give him one kiss, and then another.

You Huang: “Ahem!”

He hurriedly stood up, took the car keys from the nightstand, and let his footsteps lighten and walked out.

In the night, the car belonging to Wei Xiu’s drove out of the villa.

[Ah-Huang, what is Ding He doing right now?]

You Huang: “Playing games at home.”

[What a good mentality.]

You Huang: “Retaliation for having killed people, yet he is happy.”

[Soon he will not be very happy.]

Xie Chenyang parked his car in the parking lot of the mall near Ding He’s house, and went around the cameras the entire way to the downstairs of Ding He’s house.

[Ah-Huang.]

“Leave it to me.”
