UNCLTRD chapter 48

The biting cold wind couldn’t dispel the flush on Yang Shao’s face. He knelt in the pool, arms resting on the edge, as Chen Qiusu thrust into him from behind, causing him to hit the pool wall.

“Hiss…” His knees rubbed repeatedly against the smooth surface of the pool, the friction slightly breaking the skin. Yang Shao let out a muffled groan and tried to negotiate with Chen Qiusu, “Wait a moment… Can we change positions?”

Chen Qiusu wanted to teach Yang Shao a lesson, but he hadn’t intended to hurt him. Seeing the pained expression on his face, unsure of where he might have hurt him, he withdrew his member, turned Yang Shao around, and let him rest his back against the edge of the pool. Lifting Yang Shao’s legs to rest on his own waist, he guided his erect member back inside once more.

Yang Shao unconsciously tightened his butt, squeezing Chen Qiusu so hard that his thrusting movements stopped.

Since his knees could not be rubbed, his back was rubbed instead. Yang Shao knew that he was here to be tortured. He held onto Chen Qiusu’s neck, and his back was saved, but in return Chen Qiusu’s member was inserted deeper.

Yang Shao’s mind was full of thoughts about quickly finishing and wrapping things up. Seeing Chen Qiusu still motionless, he spoke without thinking, “Faster…”

Chen Qiusu hugged Yang Shao’s waist and thrust vigorously.

Yang Shao was caught off guard and moaned, then fell on Chen Qiusu’s shoulder.

After being loud twice, Yang Shao’s mouth was covered by Chen Qiusu, and his groans were muffled. Just when Yang Shao was a little confused, the cold wind blew the dead branches and made a sound. They were outside.

There was no moon in the gray sky, and only the wind was howling. Yang Shao looked at the tightly closed floor-to-ceiling windows. Not only were they outside, but Yang Tao was also sleeping in the bed just behind the door.

Damn it, Yang Shao cursed in his heart. The sensations from the organ pressing against his entrance was really hard to control. He wanted to moan but could only bite Chen Qiusu’s palm.

Chen Qiusu remained calm and did not pull his hand back. While thrusting, he warned Yang Shao, “Don’t put yourself and Yang Tao in danger again. Got it?”

At some point, Chen Qiusu’s fingers slipped into Yang Shao’s mouth. His fingers flexibly captured the tip of Yang Shao’s tongue, and the saliva flowed down through Chen Qiusu’s fingers.

Yang Shao’s eyes turned red. He followed Chen Qiusu’s lead, squinted his eyes and nodded. Only then did Chen Qiusu let him go.

Though Yang Shao outwardly complied, inwardly he remained defiant, silently grumbling to himself, Enough already. Why is coaxing Chen Qiusu so hard? I don’t even have this much patience when dealing with Yang Tao.

Chen Qiusu hugged Yang Shao’s waist tightly, and thrust hard, and the sticky semen shot out against Yang Shao’s entrance.

The night was eerily quiet. After a long moment, Chen Qiusu let out a long groan and withdrew from Yang Shao’s body reluctantly. Through the sparkling spring water, he could see white liquid overflowing from Yang Shao’s butt.

As the alpha’s possessiveness was fully satisfied through the act of internal release, Chen Qiusu gradually regained his composure. He reached out to help Yang Shao scoop out the semen, knowing that leaving it inside a beta’s body would serve no purpose and only make Yang Shao uncomfortable.

In the darkness, the naked man carried the other back to the room. Upon seeing Yang Tao lying on the bed, he hesitated for a moment before taking Yang Shao into the adjoining children’s room.

Once again, Yang Tao didn’t get his wish to sleep with his two dads.

When he woke up, Yang Tao found himself alone in an unfamiliar environment, faced with the vast and empty bed. He rubbed his eyes, looked around the room, and caught a glimpse of the snowy landscape through the gap in the curtains.

Oh, right—they had arrived at the ski resort yesterday. But not only had they failed to fully enjoy themselves, he’d also gotten lost with Daddy. Luckily, Uncle Chen…

Yang Tao’s train of thought abruptly stopped. He had learned a big secret—Uncle Chen was his alpha dad.

In such a dangerous place with ice and snow, his favorite Uncle Chen had appeared like a superhero. His dad had told him that Uncle Chen was his alpha father. At that moment, all the confusion and hesitation in his heart transformed into an intense longing. But now, after a night’s sleep, the usually lively and outgoing Yang Tao suddenly felt insecure. After sleeping on it, would he still have an alpha father? What if it had all been a dream? What if his daddy had lied to him?

The room was silent. Yang Tao lifted the blanket, jumped out of bed, and cast his gaze toward the slightly open door of the children’s room. After a moment of hesitation, he walked toward it barefoot.

Through the crack in the door, Yang Tao caught the scent of cedarwood—the distinct scent belonging to Chen Qiusu. He gripped the door handle, and the faint light quickly tore through the darkness of the room.

“Dad…” Yang Tao wasn’t even sure who he was calling. His voice was soft, his gaze fixed on the two people on the small bed.

Yang Shao was still the same as ever. He turned over and let out a hum in response to Yang Tao. Chen Qiusu, however, was awakened by Yang Tao’s voice. Squinting, he looked at the small figure standing in the light.

The figure was small and chubby. Chen Qiusu blurted out, “Yang Tao?”

“Uncle Chen…” For some reason, Yang Tao lost his confidence. Did it still count that Uncle Chen was his alpha father?

Chen Qiusu froze for a moment. The gap between being called “dad” and “Uncle Chen” left him unsure how to react. It didn’t matter how Yang Tao addressed him; he would still respond.

“You’re awake?” Chen Qiusu sat up and gestured for Yang Tao to come over.

Yang Tao let out an “Mm” and slowly shuffled to the edge of the bed. He traced circles on the bedsheet with his small fingers, his eyes darting around as he casually asked an unrelated question, “Are we heading back this morning?”

His dad had said he hadn’t yet told Uncle Chen the secret—that Uncle Chen didn’t know he was his son. But why hadn’t he told him? Was it because Uncle Chen didn’t want to acknowledge him as his son? Should he stop calling him dad?

“Mm.” Chen Qiusu grabbed a nearby shirt and put it on. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Yang Tao was barefoot. He picked him up and placed him on the bed, checking the frostbite on his feet and bottom. After applying some ointment, it looked much better.

Yang Tao lay there bare-bottomed under the covers, obediently letting Chen Qiusu examine him. Still, he felt a bit wronged. Uncle Chen was so good to him—very, very good, the best.

“Mm…” Even the slightest movement from someone sleeping beside him could wake Yang Shao. He had heard Yang Tao call out “dad” and knew he had entered the room. But he didn’t want to open his eyes. Instead, he held onto a sliver of hope, trying to eavesdrop on what Chen Qiusu and Yang Tao might say. He hadn’t expected Yang Tao to call him Uncle Chen again.

Yang Tao wiped his tears on the bed discreetly and pretended to be calm. “Daddy, you’re awake.”

Yang Shao, with his messy bedhead, got up. When he saw Yang Tao’s tear-streaked face, he quickly wrapped himself in a bathrobe he grabbed from the floor, tucked Yang Tao under his arm, and dashed out of the room, leaving behind one sentence: “Didn’t we say we’d leave early? Let’s get ready!”

The door swung back and forth in the wind. Chen Qiusu was left a bit stunned. Usually, Yang Shao was the type to laze in bed. How was he suddenly this decisive today? He hadn’t even had a chance to check the frostbite on Yang Shao’s face.

Inside the locked bathroom, Yang Shao placed Yang Tao on the sink, turned the faucet to full blast, and started washing his face while comforting him. “What are you crying about?”

“Daddy, will you tell him? Will he agree to be my alpha dad?”

For a nearly six-year-old child, this kind of family situation was undoubtedly complicated. Yang Tao was so confused about how to address Chen Qiusu that he could only refer to him as “him.”

Yang Shao felt a pang in his heart. What did he mean by “agree”? Of course, Chen Qiusu was his alpha father. How could he refuse?

The reason he hadn’t said anything earlier was out of caution—he hadn’t entirely let down his guard around him.

This trip to the ski resort had been a wake-up call for Yang Shao. Quietly and unobtrusively, Chen Qiusu had built an invisible fortress around him and Yang Tao, enclosing them in an absolutely safe space.

Last night, Yang Tao had asked, “Will Uncle Chen come to find us?” “Is he my dad?” Of course, he was. Yang Tao’s alpha dad was the one who granted wishes, wasn’t he?

“Daddy will tell him right now. Let’s see if he dares not to agree.” After finishing up, Yang Shao blew Yang Tao’s nose and prepared to confront Chen Qiusu with the child in his arms.

Just as they stepped out of the bathroom, someone knocked on the door. Yang Shao stopped in his tracks and turned to open it.

Outside stood an assistant, who bowed slightly to Yang Shao. “Mr. Yang, Madam sent me to pick you up. The driver is already waiting outside the hotel.”

Hearing the knock, Chen Qiusu also stepped out of the children’s room. The assistant quickly explained to him, “The Master and Madam are already at the hospital, waiting for Mr. Yang and the young master.”

Chen Qiusu nodded, instructed the assistant to pack their things, and turned to Yang Shao. “Take Yang Tao to the car first. I’ll be down shortly.”

With someone else present, it wasn’t a good time to talk. Yang Shao gave a faint “Mm,” dressed Yang Tao, and left the room. On the way, he continued to reassure the child.

“I’ll talk to him later, okay?”

Once they got into the car, the assistant had prepared breakfast. However, Yang Tao had little appetite as his thoughts lingered on Chen Qiusu. Under Yang Shao’s insistence, he drank a bit of milk but still leaned against the window, gazing at the scenery. His mood was completely different from when they had first arrived.

This cheerful little chubby boy had become so weighed down with worries and emotions—all because of Chen Qiusu.

Chen Qiusu came down with the assistant, holding something in his hand. It was the scarf Yang Tao had left in the restaurant.

“I had the hotel staff retrieve it.”

The soft, furry scarf made Yang Tao feel a little better. He murmured a quiet “thank you.”

On the way back, Yang Tao seemed so gloomy that he got carsick and threw up once. Afterward, he rested against Chen Qiusu’s chest, pale and listless, until they arrived at the hospital.

Seeing him like this, Chen’s mom and dad were heartbroken and scolded Chen Qiusu, “Didn’t you say it was nothing serious?”

“He was just a little carsick because he wasn’t fully awake,” Yang Shao hurried to explain on his behalf.

Chen Qiusu didn’t bother to defend himself. With a frown, he glanced at the relatives standing behind his parents. “Let them go for their check-ups first.”

Yang Shao was dumbfounded. He recognized several of the relatives from Yang Tao’s birthday party. Was it really necessary to make such a fuss over frostbite and a little carsickness?

Even He Yudong chimed in from the group, “Yes, yes! Check-ups are important.”

Completely bewildered, Yang Shao could only follow Chen Qiusu’s lead.

Halfway down the hall, Chen Qiusu handed Yang Tao over to Yang Shao. “Mom and Dad will go with you.”

Yang Shao wanted to ask Chen Qiusu something, but seeing He Yudong following them, he swallowed his words. Annoyed by the man’s presence, he could only comply as Chen Qiusu’s parents urged them on.

In the corridor, only Chen Qiusu and He Yudong were left alone. He Yudong didn’t beat around the bush, “Qiusu, just think of it as your cousin asking a favor, lend me some money, and after I get the money, I promise I’ll convince the relatives to leave.”

Chen Qiusu looked toward the group of people at the end of the corridor. He hadn’t expected He Yudong to actually threaten their own family. As expected, when it came to interests, everyone was selfish.

“You think you can threaten me with this?”

He Yudong gritted his teeth. He knew that Chen Qiusu’s stubborn personality wasn’t easy to persuade. “What does doing a paternity test have to do with me? Since you think it’s a threat, then I’ll threaten you.”

He was desperate now. Since Chen Qiusu resolutely refused to lend him money, they had no choice but to tear off the façade. Whether or not Yang Tao was Chen Qiusu’s son didn’t matter to him; requesting a paternity test was only beneficial to him. If Yang Tao was Chen Qiusu’s son, he would gain nothing. But if Yang Tao wasn’t, the relatives would take issue.

“Doing a paternity test is just to give everyone an explanation!” He Yudong suddenly raised his voice. The group of relatives immediately walked over, and Chen Qiusu’s parents also came out of the room to see what was going on.

“What’s going on? Why the shouting?” Chen Shiliang asked.

He Yudong spoke first, stirring the pot, “Uncle! Yang Shao and his son were accepted into the Chen family by Qiusu. Everyone trusted you and Qiusu, and we accepted them. Now, doesn’t Qiusu need to give the relatives and friends an explanation? Qiusu is simple-minded and might be easily taken advantage of. What if—what if we’ve been wrong? Won’t Chen family’s possessions fall into the hands of outsiders?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

“I trust Qiusu, but Qiusu needs to live up to our trust.”

“Doing a paternity test would put the relatives’ minds at ease.”

Everyone chimed in, and Chen Shiliang finally understood that this wasn’t concern for Yang Shao or Yang Tao’s well-being, but that He Yudong was inciting the family to “force” Qiusu.

Chen Shiliang knew his own son best. Besides, after spending time with Yang Shao, he knew he wasn’t the kind of person who would deceive them with the child’s situation.

But now, the knife was at his neck.

Chen’s mother was furious, “What are you up to, He Yudong?”

He Yudong feigned a righteous tone, “Auntie, I’m just worried you’re being deceived!”

“No,” Chen Qiusu immediately refused, “A paternity test would just be a second harm to Yang Shao and Yang Tao. I unconditionally trust my partner.”

This “explanation” would come, but not now.

Chen Qiusu’s insistence on refusing the paternity test was exactly what He Yudong had hoped for. He didn’t care what Chen Qiusu’s reasons were, but he was determined to tarnish Yang Tao’s reputation as a grandson of the Chen family.

“Qiusu, if you’re so stubborn, then we have no choice but to suspect Yang Tao isn’t your son.”

An elder also spoke up, “Qiusu, if the name isn’t right, then the words aren’t credible. You trust your partner, but we trust evidence. This paternity test must be done.”

From the hospital room came Yang Tao’s heart-wrenching cries. At the same moment, the door opened, and Yang Shao was holding Yang Tao in his arms. When Yang Tao saw Chen Qiusu, he cried even harder, “Dad!”

Yang Tao was already afraid of hospitals, and when he was feeling down, he became resistant to any examinations. Yang Shao had intended to comfort him outside the room, but then he overheard the argument outside.

Yang Tao didn’t understand what a paternity test was, but he knew they were talking about him. He wondered if saying the wrong thing would make Chen Qiusu stop being his alpha dad. Just thinking about it made him burst into tears.

“Wah… Dad…” Yang Tao cried, reaching out his hands toward Chen Qiusu. Chen Qiusu quickly held him, his heart aching as he gently patted Yang Tao’s back to comfort him.

Yang Shao had no idea how this whole fiasco had started. He looked at He Yudong and knew this brat had caused all the trouble. He was getting a little impatient. “Just do it.”

“Yang Shao!” Chen Qiusu called out to him.

Even if Chen Qiusu stood firm today and refused the paternity test, the issue would still come up again in the future.

Yang Shao glanced at He Yudong with a look of annoyance. “Let everyone feel reassured. It’s better than having some people gossip.”
