The inner dan of the former Demon Sovereign was an absolute pleasant surprise for Mi Dao.
A year ago, Mi Dao had led his subordinates to defeat his cheap old dad, and he still remembered the moment he struck the final blow, when the system exploded with notifications like a string of firecrackers:
“Beep! Script completion rate +5%…”
“Beep! Congratulations, you’ve received an item…”
“Beep!…”
The notifications rang for over a minute, and Mi Dao received dozens of rewards, all crammed into his Qiankun bag.
While he was excitedly anticipating rewards during the boss fight, the system’s explosive notifications left him so stunned that he lost all interest in even casually checking through his loot. He never expected he would pick up such a treasure!
With the inner dan of the former Demon Sovereign, it meant Mi Dao wouldn’t have to go looking for his dear son; he could just go directly to Sheng Yiling and stuff the inner dan into her mouth. As long as the heroine was revived, even if the demon clan really attacked, his dear son could handle everything, and he could smoothly complete the game.
Holding the inner dan, Mi Dao shed grateful tears.
“Dad, you really do love me!”
The system didn’t want to respond.
Mi Dao stored the inner dan away, wiped his tears, and began to seriously consider when he should take action.
Right now, with Wei Yao Shuo absent, it was indeed a good opportunity, but Mi Dao wasn’t sure where Wei Yao Shuo was. Once he touched the barrier, he wondered when Wei Yao Shuo would appear and whether he would have time to completely escape this place.
“System Dad, where is Wei Yao Shuo?”
The system replied. “According to game rules, the host cannot directly obtain the coordinates of other characters without using special items.”
Mi Dao felt wronged and replied with an “Oh,” then walked to the door and slapped the barrier—
“Come out! Pikachu!”
System: “……”
Mi Dao looked at the barrier he had just slapped, which shimmered with colors, and exclaimed, “Look, System! One hundred thousand volts!”
The system facepalmed, wondering what kind of ridiculous host he had…
After about ten seconds, a figure appeared by the door.
In order to prevent Wei Yaoshuo from taking the initiative, Mi Dao swiftly moved back to the bedside, composed his expression, and calmly watched as Wei Pikachu pushed open the door.
The door was pushed open forcefully, and Wei Yaoshuo stepped inside.
He was rarely seen in all black, with a long sword at his waist, exuding a bloodthirsty and lethal aura, as if he had just stepped out of a hell filled with corpses, a far cry from the gentle, white-clad youth that Mi Dao remembered.
Wei Yaoshuo’s brows were tightly knit, his expression dark, and his breath slightly disordered, with an unmistakable hint of terror in his eyes.
After the battle with Mi Dao yesterday, Wei Yaoshuo was reluctant to hurt him again, so he had cast a sleep spell on Mi Dao for three days, hoping to bring him back to the demon realm once everything had settled down.
So, while leading his demon soldiers across the border, he hadn’t expected that the barrier he set up at Lingyun Peak would be triggered.
The moment he felt the barrier stir, his heart dropped; he abandoned the battle and rushed over without hesitation.
Wei Yaoshuo’s cold gaze swept through the room, and when it landed on Mi Dao, he halted, the atmosphere around him suddenly softening, the chilling aura dissipating.
Thankfully, he was here.
Wei Yaoshuo felt relieved, thinking that it was merely his senior brother who had broken through his spell.
“You’ve come,” Mi Dao said calmly.
Hearing Mi Dao speak to him so calmly, Wei Yaoshuo was momentarily stunned.
This person stood before him, without struggle or anger, which left Wei Yaoshuo feeling somewhat at a loss.
A light gradually brightened in his eyes, unable to help but gaze deeply at him, his brows curving into a beautiful arc, “Senior brother.”
Mi Dao fell silent.
Morning light streamed in through the door, illuminating Wei Yaoshuo’s handsome profile. His black attire outlined his smooth waist, exuding a highly aggressive allure, and just by looking at Mi Dao, he could recall the sensation of his abdominal muscles.
After three days without any release, Mi Dao thought to himself, “Damn! Do we really need this kind of stimulation so early in the morning? I just started to relax!”
The system silently picked up its own moral integrity.
Mi Dao wiped his nose in his mind, steeled his emotions, and when he looked up, he still saw Wei Yaoshuo standing there looking handsome… cough.
Mi Dao cleared his throat and said solemnly, “Ah Shuo, I’m not leaving.”
Wei Yaoshuo clearly froze for a moment upon hearing this, his gaze becoming even gentler.
Mi Dao continued, “I have something to ask you.”
Wei Yaoshuo closed the door, walked in front of Mi Dao, looked down at him, and gently asked, “What does my senior brother want to ask?”
In his heart, Mi Dao replied, “Can we have that 18+ scene again?”
The system: “…”
“You…” Mi Dao looked up at him, seemingly burned by the fire in his eyes, and hurriedly averted his gaze.
Turning his eyes away, Mi Dao asked softly, “Where did you go?”
Wei Yaoshuo’s gaze darkened, his throat moved slightly as he suppressed the impulse to pull this person into his arms. He smiled and gently asked, “Did my senior brother miss me?”
“You—!” Mi Dao instantly flushed red to his ears.
Wei Yaoshuo watched his flustered expression and couldn’t help but recall that night when Mi Dao had begged for mercy beneath him, desire flickering deeper in his eyes.
Mi Dao took a deep breath to calm his mind. He stepped back and said, “Is there any movement from the demon tribe?”
A dangerous glint passed through Wei Yaoshuo’s eyes as he chuckled softly, “I thought since my senior brother is so determined to seek death, he wouldn’t care about the demon tribe anymore.”
Mi Dao choked, as if his thoughts had been seen through. He looked elsewhere, unsure of how to respond.
Seeing Mi Dao in such a daze, Wei Yaoshuo felt a pang in his heart.
He stepped closer, reached out to touch Mi Dao’s cheek, and spoke in a coaxing tone, “Senior brother, isn’t that right?”
Wei Yaoshuo’s fingertips brushed against Mi Dao’s face, unexpectedly feeling a bit cold. Mi Dao’s eyelashes trembled as he raised a hand to block him, feeling quite awkward, “D-Don’t do that…”
If this continued, he might lose control.
Wei Yaoshuo’s gaze flickered, yet he still cradled Mi Dao’s face, rubbing his thumb gently and whispering, “So what does my senior brother want from Ah Shuo?”
In his heart, Mi Dao screamed, “Of course I want you to tease me like that!”
He continued to turn away, but was suddenly caught off guard when Wei Yaoshuo nibbled on his ear.
All he heard was that husky, deep voice whispering in his ear, “Like this?”
Ahhh!
As Wei Yaoshuo spoke, he gently bit him again, “Or like this?”
Mi Dao felt overwhelmed by the bite, “System, can I go all the way?”
The system coldly rejected him, “No, you cannot.”
Mi Dao: “…”
