Some say that the faint outline of the square earthen city you see in the midnight sandstorm is actually the ghost of Yumen Pass*.
*Yumen pass- a military pass and major traffic route on the Silk Road during Han dynasty
TLs note: The blurb is quite vague, but I hope you try it out anyways, because this book is phenomenal. You can rate the novel over at NU. Happy reading, lovelies!
✶ Translator’s description of the book:
The male lead, Chang Dong, suffers from an accident in the past. He gets roped into travelling to the desert by our mischievous female lead- Ye Liuxi. Along the way other characters join them in their journey and they form a tight-knit group. This book is 50% funny/flirtatious dialogue between the main leads and 50% adventure with the found family trope. Of course there are some mysteries I can’t reveal 👀
What’s truly intriguing is that the author uses real cities and landmarks in China, so the book ends up feeling super authentic.
Schedule: One chapter per week; an extra chapter for each ko-fi.
